I remember when the OG location opened up in Irvine and there was a line out the door. They would make the 'donuts' fresh and then scoop your ice cream directly into the hot piping bun but the ice cream was so cold that it wouldn't immediately melt. They really cultivated mouth watering perfection. I'm super stoked that they have been able to expand because their product is truly unique and delicious. Congrats on the success! You really can't go wrong here. They have lots of fun flavors, and they have kept most of their original flavors. My favorite is the cereal milk or the jasmine ice cream in a warm glazed bun. We had just finished up at Circus Vargas (which was AMAZING btw) and the kiddos wanted ice cream, their fav spot was closed so we decided to give Afters a shot. It was late on a weeknight so it wasn't busy and we got to try a few flavors before deciding which was great as they have a lot of unique options and I have very selective kids. My son settled on the churro ice cream and vanilla, my daughter tried the triple C, my husband tried the salty oreo, and I got the cookie monster. All of them were delicious and unique in their own ways, the service was fast + kind, and my son left saying the churro ice cream was the best he's ever had. Since we were able to sample a few, here are some quick thoughts: 1. Cookie Monster - bright blue vanilla ice cream with oreo + choc chip cookies and chocolate fudge. This one is creamy and ultra-sweet. If you like cookies, give it a shot. 2. Cookie Butter - this tastes exactly like a speculoos cookie. If you love these kind of cookies, you'll love this. Ultra-sweet + yummy. 3. Triple C - choc chips, fudge, and caramel in vanilla ice cream. This was just okay. I'd probably skip. 4. Salty Oreo - I usually love a salty/sweet combo but this was not doing it for me. It was odd and even my husband who eats everything got sick of it after a couple of bites. 5. Churro - cinammon sugar base + cinammon toast crunch mixed in. My son is obsessed with this. If you're a churro or cinammon/sugar lover - try this. 6. Moch AF - mocha ice cream, almonds + fudge. SO SO GOOD. I wish I would've picked this instead of the cookie monster one. It's so delish, good mix of mocha + fudge. Not ultra sweet. Bought ice cream here last night, and have not stopped throwing up since I ate it, made me so sick

I have been here plenty of times but every time I come I forget to leave a review. This place has a nice selection of ice cream as well as toppings. They also offer milkshakes and ice cream bars! The price is a little high for one scoop of ice cream which I believe runs over $6. Not bad but not great either. The customer service at this location is always good and I never have a problem. It's a small little building with no indoor seatings. It's a grab and go type of place. There is a few benches when you walk outside though. I came in and got a scoop of Jasmine milk tea ice cream with mochi toppings. I have always ordered this and it is so delicious. I cannot speak for the other flavors but they do let you sample them in case you don't know what you want. I will be returning of course as this place is good! Great little spot to take your kids for a nice treat. As per the other not so positive reviews I came into this place with no mask on and the workers were not wearing masks either. So if you are concerned about not being served for the mask policy don't worry about it. I believe that has ended. read more

The actual store has a very clean and modern feel to it. They offer a good number of ice cream flavors, and I think you'll find that there is a flavor for everyone. They don't have any tables inside, but there are plenty of places to sit outside around the mall. The employees are very friendly and happily answered all my questions. I ordered the dark matter brownie batter ice cream. The consistency was nice and the little brownie pieces gave it a good texture. I also found the portion size to be more than enough. Do keep in mind that many of their ice creams use a lot of food dye and will stain your tongue/teeth. Afters is a pretty good spot for ice cream. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it, but if I'm in the area, I very well may stop by. read more

Aside from this review being a month late... I loved this lil' ice cream parlor! Little did I know that they have a location here in San Diego (PB area) that I definitely will be visiting soon. I'm not an ice cream elitist by any means but I adore the creative flavor/flavor names that they have here. This visit, I sampled their cookie monster, milk & cereal, and their mango. I thought I was sold with their cookie monster, but found the ice cream to be slightly overwhelming/too filling for me. Their milk & cereal is delicious, which is what my boyfriend ordered, so I went with mango. I had the mango with tajin and chamoy for an extra burst of favor and heat. Here's the kicker, though... THEY HAVE THEIR OWN MERCH! Their merchandise is soooo targeted towards the **millennial** audience and boy do we love that sh*t. Their such a hit that their (online) store has most of their shirts and such sold out as we speak! There are more flavors I haven't even mentioned and I'm sure that anyone can find a flavor that is suited to their tastebuds :) I don't know, man, I loved this place and I've been craving it since my inadvertent adventure in Temecula that day. What a fun little ice cream shop located at the Promenade mall. It's not common to see an ice cream shop that will turn your ice cream to a soda float or milkshake along with the trendiest flavors to ever hit your taste buds. Nothing beats ice cream on a hot sunny day. We stopped by Temecula to charge our electric vehicle and while we were waiting we stopped by After's for some ice cream because it was National Ice Cream Day. They had a special promotion where we received a free mini cone with our order. We decided to get a double scoop with Thai ice tea, Mango Chamoy and Vietnamese coffee for the mini cone. While we were driving to the parking lot I noticed Afters! Perfectly named because after dinner we came back to get dessert. Bryan had said that there was an Afters in San Diego but I had never been so I was really excited to try it out! The set up was really minimalistic which I like, but my god was the music too loud, I honestly couldn't hear anything anyone was saying so when it came my turn to order it was a little difficult. I tired their hot chocolate, churro and Cookie Monster flavors. There were a lot of different options, they even had a Thai tea flavor which I regret not getting! I opted for the Cookie Monster which is vanilla ice cream dyed blue with Oreo and Famous Amos cookie pieces! Really tasty but overly sweet, I got a scoop into a glazed milky bun aka donut and I added mochi pieces. Perfect little treat to end our night in Temecula. $7 for the ice cream but there were other options. Fast and friendly service and on their tip jar it asked to help for school books so I giggled reminding myself that those things aren't cheap. Definitely added a little something! Help these college kids out! Definitely a cute set up, I love anything having to do with ice cream and donuts so definitely a plus for me! We have been frequenting this place for a couple years now. We've been coming less since the start of the pandemic but starting starting to come again. This time their air conditioning was broken on a hot day as well as one of their ice cream fridges. Nevertheless the staff was really nice and accommodating. Definitely noticed the price increases from all the inflation which makes it a pretty expensive treat. We got our usuals the milky bun with a cereal milk ice cream and frosted flakes. I think this is a must have and is a staple of this establishment. The kids always get the cookie monster which turns their tongues blue instantly. You have to love the big bits of brownie and cookie in each bite. I recommend anyone to at least try this place once for dessert if they are being deterred by the price it definitely is worth a try. read more

My wife and I along with my family came to showcase Temecula to my oldest military brother who's never been here. Since it was his first time I wanted him to have the best and ultimate experience. We were warmly greeted and welcomed by Ryon, his energy, smile and determination to get us proper samples and make us happy and satisfied was the most ultimate. We ended up ordering a lot of scoops. Ryon, was so great even genuinely asking about our day and being interested in us and caring about not only our order but us as people. He showed above and beyond customer service but also added that "Feel Good" feeling after you leave a place.
