Definitely the best Happy Hour in Honolulu! From 3-6pm $3 well drinks and $5 mai-tais! The service was GREAT at this place all things considered. There was only one bartender, but another employee came and went and ended up enjoying herself with her friends? Despite being all by herself, she took her time to check up on us and ask us if we wanted refills (and remembered all of our orders correctly!) Definitely deserving of a big tip from all the tables here. The indoor seating area has probably 10 tables max but there is another outdoor space. I was given a plastic cup of beer, see picture, please tell me that is a 14/15 oz pour. Even if this were true, I highly doubt it, I still don't understand why they have pint glasses that hold only 14/15 oz. I don't get it. See my screen cap below of their response. If you are going to charge me 8$ for a small pour of beer it should be clearly stated, and then to state that your pint glasses are 14/15 oz and that is what I got? Honestly expected better considering we've been here before with a large group when it was not busy and service was good. Tonight though, absolutely horrible service. Sat at the bar for 15-20 minutes and only the bartender ending her shift acknowledged us by giving us a menu. Other bartender never even made an effort. As a bartender myself I'm extremely disappointed. Won't come back and will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Note: we left once she started chatting up other patrons and continued to ignore us at the bar. The drinks are excellent and the service was better (Shout out to Amanda our bar tender). An incredibly underrated plus on this bar is that it's part of a food court and you can bring food into it. Agave & Vine is a nice place to just chill out and unwind after hours of walking around Ala Moana. This place is located in the new food court, The Lanai, next to Macy's. The place is clean and nice and new. It is a very small bar with small tables, but you can have a drink outside of the bar, but within the food court, or bring your food there and eat while having a drink. However, if you decide to drink outside the bar, they will use plastic cups, whereas if you drink at the bar, you will get the normal glass. I ordered a couple of beers to drink outside. The bartender asked me beforehand where I was going to drink, but she never informed me that I will get different vessels for my drink! I noticed the people drinking beer at the bar all had glasses! I paid the same price listed too. But it's okay. Lesson learned, and it's only a few ounces anyway. Agave and Vine has a nice variety of drafts, wines, and tequilas. Drafts run from $6-8. You won't see the Coors or Buds. Instead there's a few nice selections from specialty breweries. They had Space Dust IPA, and that's all I needed. It's definitely nice to be able to grab food and order a drink to go with it at a food court. read more

Great place to grab a drink or watch Seattle Seahawks games with fellow fans. Jules and the servers are super friendly. They have so many libations to choose. When hungry, you can get whatever you want in the food court and bring it back to your table or the bar then continue watching the game. We will be back even when it's not football season. read more

They also have 12 Craft Beers on draft and 12 Wine selections. Now you can get food from any of the fine establishments located in "The Lanai" and bring it here to eat, along with getting your booze on. Nice small Bar with counter, inside and outside seating. If there is no waitress working, you still can get a drink to enjoy outside of the bar on the tables. The only stipulations is that you can only drink it in the area extending towards Mahaloha Burger. If they is a waitress working she covers almost the entire place of "The Lanai". Love the good music and vibe here. Way better than sitting on the outside tables and have to deal with all that noise. Three big flat screen TV's with sports going on constantly. Love sitting on the bar and relaxing while having a cold brew. There are Daily Specials Posted and Happy Hour is from 3-6pm everyday. My wife and I were walking through the mall and decided to pop in here for a quick happy hour (from 3:00-6:00) beverage. We had dinner plans later in the evening, but I can see how it would be nice to grab something to eat from one of the nearby restaurants and bring it over here while you enjoy a cocktail or two, as Agave & Vine does not serve food. The wife opted for a mai tai ($6), which she said was good, but didn't seem to have much booze in it. I went the safe route and had a draft Kirin for $4 (draft Modelo is also $4 on HH). Something that I wasn't too fond of was hearing the owner behind the bar berate her new employee for such things as not slicing strawberries correctly. I'd be one of those where everyone starts with an A. Just saying. I base my review off of one drink. Bad Decision - grand leyenda bianco tequila, fresh grapefruit, sour and agave. It was tasty and refreshing. I'm a fan of grapefruit. It had nice strength to it and you can taste the tasty tequila and the flavors blend nicely. Gotta get a cocktail to judge because they mixing it you know and it was good. Other offering were a pretty good selection of beer and wines. The decor is nice with warm wood accents with nice lighting and they have an outdoor dining area. There are several TVs including one outside. It's a quick and convenient spot to grab a quick drink after dining or just to hang out. Nice looking place! Great TV's , great TEQUILA options has lots of promise! First I sit at the bar and the bartender is laughing and talking to a set of what I assume are regulars at the opposite end of the bar. They had full drinks and were engaged in a story...I wait and wait very patiently just twiddle around with my phone. I was patient because I was waiting on another friend. But then seriously over ten minutes had past and I hadn't gotten so much as a hello. So I realized that maybe because I was playing with my phone she didn't want to "Interrupt me.... I'm trying g to give her grace.. so I made note of the time and set my phone down.. another 5 minutes past and still nothing. My friend arrived and wanted to sit outside at a table. (I WANTED TO LEAVE) but didn't want to start the afternoon off on a bad note so I didn't mention it... We didn't wait terribly long at the table and another girl came and waited on us. We got our first drink and that was it, we sat empty for a long time. The the Julia lady (I know her name because the guest she was actually taking care of said it a few times.. She walked right by our empty drinks twice and my friend decided to go to the bar and order another round... the Julia chick come up to my friend and chastises her for ordering at the bar when she was sitting at a table!!! She won't wait on you greet you or give you any attention but has the AUDACITY to confront you when you try to serve yourself! She is so fake and phony! I could almost see her grimace switch to that fake smile from me to her regulars.. it was creepy... I have been coming here a couple of times, specifically to come and watch football games (again, specifically to watch Seahawks games hosted by the nonprofit - Honolulu Seahawkers). It is always a good time. Other than that, as far as everything else goes, they only have drinks and always have happy hours during certain times or the day/ everyday. If you have yelp / yelp check-in there's redemption for 5 dollar tequila shots! You can also bring in the food that you want to eat and eat it there, which is very nice. Recently my fiancée and I came on a Monday night NFL football game Veterans Day 11/11/2019 to watch the Seahawks play the Niners for the whole game and it was probably one of the craziest times that I had watching a football game at a bar! The staff and customer service is super awesome. They are also pretty spirited too when it especially comes to Seahawks games. The prices for all of the drinks are pretty good too. During happy hour they have certain beer like Kirin and all kinds of wine ranging from 3-6 dollars. They have table and seating areas inside and outside of the bar. If you ever need a nice and chill place to watch a sporting event, this is the place. Let me start off by saying: I'm not the biggest fan of bar food. So, the fact that Agave & Vine lets you bring in your own food is a HUGE bonus for me (food court has so many options!!!). Agave & Vine def has the trendy vibe going for it, but it's technically in the middle of a food court, so the overall ambiance is.. odd. It's hip, but it plays sports and it's in the middle of a food court - it's like it's trying to please the hipster, the sports fan, and the mom crowd all at once. I actually came here with my parents, so let me tell you, it does succeed in pleasing everyone but I wouldn't recommend it for any crazy nights out! I got the pretty in pink cocktail, which I actually really liked! I'm super picky with cocktails (too sweet, too sour, too bitter, blah blah blah), so I was pleasantly surprised with this one! It's pretty and they used Tito's vodka, which imo, is one of the better vodkas. Also, the drink definitely wasn't weak! I was expecting it to be pretty light on vodka given the $12 price tag, but towards the end, I was feeling it a bit (oops). Servers were also great! The best thing about Agave & Vine is that it has like 4 poke stops accessible for the bar. That is not to say however, that it doesn't also have other great traits. The bar is hip, yet conveniently located at Ala Moana near the Macy's. It is in the new food court with a lot of yummy looking food selection, so you could technically get the most interesting array of bar food as possible by buying food from the various different vendors and eating it with the drinks at Agave & Vine. They also played a lot of different sports games in well lit and new TVs, which was a plus for my tired partner who does not like shopping. The happy hours are great too, and the service was friendly albeit painfully slow. The drinks were just okay, but we really only tried the mai tai, so we will have to give it another go to truly determine how much we like the place! read more

Great little bar to stop in for a drink while your shopping. They are known for their tequila and they do have quite a lot to choose from for such a small little place. This is not like a restaurant type of bar. It literally is in the food court, which is nice as you can bring whatever food you want there to eat. All the other "restaurant type" bars in the mall are more upscale. Husband in beach shorts fit in just fine at this little bar. When I was at The Lanai in the Ala Moana Center about two months ago, Agave & Vine was still in the phases of preparing to open. Now that it's one of the "Hot and New" businesses around town, I figured, why not check it out! About a week ago, Brian M. wrote a great review that piqued my interest when he said that A&V was loaded with, what else? Tequila! Got that right, Brian! Thanks for sharing. So this past Friday, my friend and I met up and took one of the high top tables in the bar. We sipped on a few glasses of Don Julio Anejo on ice, talked story, and soaked up the atmosphere of this pretty cool place. You have your choice of indoor or outdoor seating, and if you want something to eat, you can always buy something from the food court and bring it in. We were there during Happy Hour on a Friday, so it was pretty crowded, initially. And while the two women working were very friendly, I did feel as though service was lacking a bit. I think they were overwhelmed. A couple of times, our drinks were overlooked, and when I asked for more napkins, it was forgotten until I had to ask again. Maybe it might not be such a bad idea to add a third person on the weekends? I dunno. In any case, I do like this place, and I do see myself going back again. read more

The place was packed, luckily a nice guy was willing to share his table with us. Since it was 11am I ordered a Bloody Mary with all the fixings (celery, pickle and olive), spicy. The flavor was great, it was just the right amount of alcohol and tomato juice. The place doesn't serve food, but you can buy food from the other stalls and bring it in. The moment where you notice a bar in one of Ala Moana's newer food courts - The Lanai. Pretty new, less than 3 years, I think. I've come to know them through dining and having occasional alcohol here at Agave & Vine. Pretty much every other weekend it seems. Agave & Vine carves out it's home at The Lanai, Ala Moana's 2nd level and newest food court. Purchasing Vine and other alcoholic cocktails while enjoying the big game or just socializing among friends or making new ones is what Agave is all about. They have various drink specials here as well as happy hour on a daily basis. You can purchase your meals from any of The Lanai merchants for your main entree and get a beer or two here at Agave & Vine to compliment the meal. I come to Ala Moana a lot these days and when I do feel like purchasing alcohol with my meal, I usually flag one of the servers and order something off of their menu. Usually, their selections are pretty good and generally priced to where you don't cringe at the prices when you look at the menu. Most beers they serve usually are priced around $6-$8, which is about as average as you can get anywhere. The service here is rather fast, considering that the amount of volume they do is usually at the bar itself and their seating outside versus elsewhere else at The Lanai. Sometimes, I would sit close enough to the bar where I don't have to signal if the waitress would walk around. Sometimes, it would be tough to find them, especially in a crowded food court, like Ala Moana. Most times, it's not depending on the time of day. The overall experience here at Agave & Vine here at the Ala Moana shopping center's The Lanai was interesting to say the least. To have alcohol in a busy food court is a little bit unconventional and a little weird at the same time. Usually, you don't see this kind of thing - at least not to me. As soon as I got over that aspect of that, I learned to go with it and I can have Vine with my meals every time I come here. Usually that's a win for everyone too. The service here is friendly and fast. While they don't serve food here, you can partake in all the other merchants at The Lanai while having you glass of beer, Vine, or cocktails to compliment the meal at Agave & Vine. For the most part though, Agave & Vine is a good venue for those people who shop at Ala Moana have a place to hang out and relax after a morning of shopping to have a nice glass of wine or beer. During the NFL season, The Lanai itself was packed and I got to see a Seattle Seahawk contingent cheering for their team in the playoffs, but got so quiet in the last minutes losing to the Green Bay Packers on January 12, 2020 in the divisional playoffs. It was nothing like it. They have 3 big screen tv's to watch sports, 2 inside the Lanai and one outside. Agave & Vine Bar is located at the Ala Moana Shopping Center, 2nd floor next to the Macy's and the former Shirokiya department store. The Lanai food court is what is there currently now. They accept major credit cards, which is always good for everyone who lives the plastic lifestyle. They also accept cash as well. Best bet would be to come here before the lunch or dinner rush, or even before a major sporting event airs on tv, so that you get a nice spot in front of the television. As it is Ala Moana shopping complex, there's plenty of parking here, so just remember where to park and you should be fine. If you are like me, many bus routes start and terminate here at Ala Moana shopping center. Too much to list in a yelp review, but if you can find Ala Moana, you definitely would want to end up here at Agave & Vine. Take a load off and have a couple of drinks to take the edge off. Shop, wine, and shop some more. It's a beautiful thing. Recommended if you're in the area or shopping and need a pitstop. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 3.0 stars when it's game day, due to the insane crowds, especially during the NFL playoffs. 4.0 stars for the service and the beer / wine selections. Because this place is located in "The Lanai" at the food court next to Macy's at Ala Moana Shopping Center I don't expect much when drinks are served in plastic cups. I get it ... it's about safety. However, when it comes to service, that's where the effort counts. My hubby and I sat in the 'public' inside area food court are immediately outside of the entrance of this place. We sat next to a family of 4 from Japan and who sat at their table for at least 2 hours. The dad had at least 6 beers and each time he wanted a drink, he had to go to the bar, order and bring it back to his table. There was not a single time that anyone came to check on the group.
