We visited as a party of four with a baby and a toddler. We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated fairly quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. The atmosphere is lively and definitely geared toward people who enjoy drinks with their meal, so it can get a little loud. Even so, the staff was accommodating to our family. My husband and I shared the lobster garlic noodles and the poke nachos. Both portions were generous and perfect for splitting. We got a grilled chicken on the kids menu, and it was okay. Overall, it was a great dining experience with delicious food, a vibrant atmosphere, and reasonable wait times even without a reservation. We'd definitely come back.

Felt like beer night so we walked from Ala Moana and skipped the line to get a bar seating. Half-yard beer was amazing and so was the pineapple beer! Also ordered food and I was so impressed by the cook on this steak and cilantro chicken. Steak was perfectly medium rare and it's definitely on par with a steak house. $50 for a 20oz ribeye is hard to beat around here. Service was amazing as well with quick and professional staff. Definitely going again!
If you are down in Waikiki and want to take advantage of a really good happy hour I recommend Yard House. During my first visit I did their beer flight to try 4 different local beers and really enjoyed it. Good bar food and they were quick to bring my daughter her meal when we ordered, really appreciated that. Not too loud or too much going on but a good amount of people coming and going. Second visit our server made great recommendations and I really liked the Lilikoi Margarita.
Came here prior to our flight back home, and did not disappoint! May-Z was a great waitress, who kept refilling our waitress and providing us great food choices. Definitely going back when we're in Waikiki!

He took the time to understand our taste preferences and recommended cocktails that matched our preferences perfectly. When we tried one of the cocktails and realized it was not quite what we were looking for, she kindly offered to replace it with another one, and the new recommendation was much better. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent service truly made our experience special. I wish I had asked for her name because she definitely deserves recognition. Thank you for making our evening enjoyable -- we really appreciated the great service and hospitality.
Nice vibe open air restaurant and our server was very attentive. We came in for drinks and appetizers! I totally forgot to take pictures of our haul. We got garlic fries, slider with fries and cheese appetizer which look like taters. I got a guava cider and it was good to my liking as not a beer drinker. Love the fruitiness and no bitter aftertaste. I can taste the guava and like that it was not sweet. As far as appetizers go, garlic fries on point ! You can taste the garlic which is not overwhelming. The cheese taters also great with or without the dipping sauce. Slider was just ok little dry. But the atmosphere was nice.
Follow up-went back for lunch. I got the Korean Cheesesteak Sandwich-excellent! My wife got the Kale Salad with shrimp...also very good. Good service at the bar, and they had surfing (haven't seen that in a long time as a mainlander), and the Olympics.
Food was very tasty. I had the Korean cheesesteak and let me see it was very unique. Happy hour had many options of foods to choose from and drinks! Service was fast and spot on with everything. It was a little dark inside and some tables were a bit too close for comfort but other than that. It was a great experience.
Very good happy hour here M-F 2:00-5:30. Reasonable prices by Waikiki standards, friendly and attentive staff and good pub grub fare food. Centrally located in the heart of Waikiki, extensive beer list. A must on your itinerary while in Waikiki.

This location is so busy, went here for happy hour and the wait was 10-15 minutes. The full price options are kinda overpriced imo, but happy hour pizzas and apps are decently priced. Poke nachos were a must, loved the chips and poke was well-dressed. Pizza and wings were good, not mind blowing but enjoyable.

We stopped in during happy hour and were pleasantly surprised. The half-price appetizers were a great deal! The cheese curds were the standout--they tasted like they were battered in-house and were perfectly crispy with gooey cheese inside. The boneless wings were decent as well, and overall we really enjoyed both the food and the drinks. We typically try to avoid chain restaurants while on vacation, but we were hungry and this was close by. In the end, we're glad we stopped in. Our server, a dark-haired gentleman whose name we unfortunately didn't catch, was fantastic. He was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Yard House hands down has the best happy hour deals on this island. Not only do they offer half off select appetizers and pizzas, but it also runs from 2-6pm (M-F)! That's crazy good. The portions are LARGE and the quality of food is good. My favorites so far: Poke Nachos - they are generous with the poke and the flavor is perfect. You really cannot go wrong with $12 on this one. Pizza - large and nice crispy thin crust. The cheese and pepperoni are fresh. Calamari - crispy and fresh, the flavors are there and this goes perfectly with pretty much anything. Spinach Dip - I actually really loved the spinach dip here because it's super cheesy hot and fresh. Even the chips are delicious. I could probably eat one order of these on my own it was so good. In the past I have also tried the nacho dip (beware this is HUGE), chicken tenders, sliders, and salad cups - and they were all good. You really can't go wrong with Yard House Happy Hour. This is the perfect spot if you have a group and you don't want to break the bank. The service has always been good here as well. read more

One of the best happy hours in all of Waikiki. They have a lot of items at half off during happy hour. Check out the boneless wings, spinach artichoke dip, chicken lettuce wraps, sliders, and don't forget to have a beer and ask for Brian as your server!! read more
Haven't been to Yardhouse in years but happy that I stopped in recently. The menu was extensive and ofcourse they have a TON of beers, seltzer, ciders on draft. The wait for a table was about 10 min but the bar and the Hightops behind the bar are open seating so we sat there. They have fall seasonal beers and a Pumpkin spice beer which I loved served with a sugar rim so yummy! The blue cheese and bacon burger was pretty good too! What really made the experience was Ernesto! Our server took excellent care of us and was very friendly and professional. He allowed us to sample a few beers before we decided and that was so nice thank you. Excellent service and great time! read more
So to start, if you stay at the Embassy Suites Waikiki, you get a 10% discount. Nice little perk of the hotel. Because it is connected to the hotel - easy and fast to get to. Party of 3 on a Thursday night at approximately 7:30. Wait time: we were seated right away. Parking: No business parking. I recommend parking at Hale Koa outdoor lot within walking distance. Street parking is very very limited. Service: our server was quick and friendly. Drinks: They have a huuuuuge selection of beers both local and mainland. Food: The food here is the reason why the rating is only 3 stars. The burger was not cooked to the right temp and tastes dry. Fries tasted old as if they had been sitting under a food lamp for too long. The vampire tacos were lacking in flavor. The chicken sandwich was just okay. read more
We were warmly welcomed in and as I had a mobility scooter, the hostess put us at a table with room to store the scooter while we ate. It's an open air brew pub with high end finishes and touches, but with overall darker wood tones. Popular music of a wide variety played over the speakers, and I sang along, because, why not; We are on vacation. We ordered sweet potato fries to start, along with the mango cider and the guava cider (I preferred the mango). For lunch we ordered the tacos a la carte. The best by far was the Korean Chicken tacos, although the others were good too. Finally, shout out to our server, Mayz. She was super friendly, energetic, and followed up a few minutes after our food came out, and kept up on out drinks. Yard House has a treasure in her. We were looking for something casual and relatively inexpensive and Yard House hit that perfectly for us. We went in on a Friday for happy hour and had about a 20 minute wait for a table. When we got seated our waitress was prompt and helped us get our order in before happy hour was over. We ordered exclusively from the happy hour deals menu and the portions were extremely generous. Chicken nachos were tasty, my favorite topping was the quick pickled jalapeños, so delicious. Also got the Brussels sprouts and they were some of the better Brussels I've had, crispy and the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The sliders were great for the kids, they still came with fries which I thought was surprising for an appetizer. The truffle mushroom pizza was also savory and delicious. We left we extremely full stomachs, leftovers to bring home, and a bill that was almost half of our other meals in Waikiki so far. read more

So a few of us decided to grab some dinner in Waikiki as our time there drew to a close. I was able to get us a table with no wait and we got our order in pretty quickly. I grabbed a beer and the Whiskey Glazed Salmon. The beer was not what I expected, but I was good since I took a shot in the dark. As for the salmon, that was amazing. Cooked perfectly and the glaze was the right amount of sweetness. The rice and veggies pairs nicely as well. It was a nice and simple dinner and I thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed a bit and chatted and that made the night even better. Pay a visit if in Waikiki. read more

I don't usually take the time to review chain restaurants unless something stands out good or bad. In this case. We had a really good experience with someone named Val. She greeted us asses her names and helped us out with our beer selections and food selections. Even though the bar was quite busy, she always took the time to find out if we needed something or asked how things were. As much as she was hustling. I was surprised she even made the effort but she did and we are appreciative of that. We came in during the happy hour so we had three appetizers and all three were delicious. The first was the ahi nachos which were gone in almost an instant because they tasted that good. Next up we had the seared ahi tuna which was quite plentiful and for happy hour half price, a very good deal. Lastly, we had the calamari rings which were okay but nothing spectacular. I think that would be the only appetizer we would not order again here. There was a baseball game going on and it got quite loud at times but that's what happens when you have about 20 TVs in a bar area with a lot of alcohol. read more

This place is always fun to stop by with a group of people. I usually come with friends and family. Not exactly date night spot for me because of how loud it can get. Easiest way is to get here on a moped. If not, I take the car and park at the hotel behind with validated parking. You'll have to make a reservation just because it's in Waikiki and can get busy. They open late so most people tend to come here because it's the only this open. But their staff works hard and fast to get people in and out. Lots of food on the menu to select from. Nothing crazy stands out to me as the best of the best. Everything is as it is, and their food is good. I don't think I've had anything bad here. They also can get crafty with their drinks, so it's good to have options from draft, what they brew, and what they can create. read more

This is a great restaurant in a central location just off of Waikiki Beach near the Royal Hawaiian shopping plaza. It's quite busy but was quick for us to get in at 5pm. They have an extensive menu with an interesting selection of meals. I had the battered fish tacos and they were well prepared and delicious. The drinks were good too! read more

We went during happy hour :) We got there around 2PM and waited about 15 minutes! It's 50% off appetizers and pizzas, not the main menu. The steak was really good, very soft and chewy. You should definitely order it :):) The quality was really good for the price! read more

This evening we tried Yard House for a few drinks and dinner. We were so happy to have their Korean Ribeye Steak as it's simply amazing and flavorful!
