Stopped by this cute little hidden gem that is one of my favorite places. Decided to sit at the outside bar chairs. Andrea was the bartender who helped us. Amazing service, handcrafted drinks that aren't on the menu from a series of questions she asked us plus tasty appetizers.... Perfect experience. Andrea was personable, attentive and quite a creative bartender. We literally had fun just sitting are chatting with her throughout our two hours. Thanks Andrea!!

After work midweek cocktail! Patron tower of margaritas! Hit the spot. I had some of the best empanadas here as well as the tacos. There's a free parking garage. They have different drink specials during the week I believe so check the site. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Tuesday mid week. I imagine it gets pretty busy as the weather gets nicer. There's indoor and outdoor seating.

First, I do think this place is worth a second visit. Simply because the service is top notch and there is a speak easy that's behind the wall that I am curious about. As for the food, it was just okay. Not really much to say except the chimichanga was just "chimi" w/o the "changa". The queso was good, but the chips could be a bit better without the seasoning, sometimes less is more and then put that seasoning on the chimichanga that lacked flavor. Dessert was cool. And that is all.

The ambience in the restaurant is very nice. The drinks were good. The food was okay. We ordered queso and was served the chips and salsa 10 minutes before the queso was served. The queso was not the best. Trying to be different, I ordered a Steak Chimichanga. I could not enjoy it because the steak was overcooked. My daughter enjoyed her Barbacoa tacos and her boyfriend enjoyed his Barbacoa Chimichanga. Our table did not have any silverware and the waitress never provided any. We had to ask the person who served our food for silverware. I would go again but definitely order something different. Parking was free. *The hostess informed us that they have ladies night on Thursdays which is one of their busier nights. They have $1 bottomless drinks on ladies night.

First time dining here In the popular Dunwoody High St Area across from Perimeter Mall. Giving all the feels of the Mexican culture but with some spice. The Latin music was awesome that was all Zumba , meringue inspired. There are 3 areas of dining , bar area, outdoor patio and bar seating, and another shown in the picture posted. Out sever was nice but once I asked about the restaurant history and etc. shae another sever working took the lead on sharing all the great things from happy hour 4-6 or 5-7 and Ladies Night on Thursdays with special prices Margarita. This particular evening it was a late light dinner so didn't try any drinks. There is also another twist that shae shared about this spot but you will have to go there to find out. I am sure the weekend vibe is great. The bar area has televisions while the other side is more upscale. Something for everyone and the tacos were good. Would go back to try more of their menu selections and drinks. Give it a try!

Service service service Can I say more? Our server at the bar was Andreas was outstanding. He was personable, customer oriented and able to handle a large volume of customers with ease. We found ourselves at the Agave Bandido to attend a birthday gathering in the secret speakeasy (located upstairs) but initially dined downstairs. We ordered street corn and steak nachos. Both were excellent and served piping hot. The steak nachos were by far my favorite. Lots of toppings and the steak was tender. The order is so large three of us were able to share them with some left over. The street corn is served on the cob and was flavorful and served with a side of lime I will add my review of Maya Speak Tisi on a separate posting

I enjoy coming here they have great drinks, great food and service. Thursdays are ladies night where you can get some good and cheap drinks. I'm addicted to their cilantro rice and Tropicoco drink . It's pretty big in here and they have a speakeasy upstairs if you just want drinks.

Finally got to check out Agave in High Street. We came on a Thursday evening around 7pm and it was definitely a turn up vibe in the bar area. People were singing & dancing at the bar. We were seated right away inside away from the bar but there is outside seating as well and an inside & outside bar seating area. The music selection is A+. We are both not a huge fan of Mexican food but we love supporting Dunwoody and its developments/restaurants. Our food came out so fast after ordering, we were both in shock. We ordered the Chipotle queso dip with adobo chicken, Elote street corn, and my husband got the Steak quesadilla. They gave a good amount of everything on top of the complimentary chips & salsa. The Elote street corn order comes with 3 corn so plenty to share. When we finished our meal our server Jillian informed us about the Speak-Tiki that's on the top floor & she brought us up there to check it out. Video & picture attached. We plan to definitely return on a Friday or Saturday to enjoy Maya Speak-Tiki. I definitely recommend this restaurant for the vibes, atmosphere & food if you like Mexican. Weekly Specials *Mon-Friday: Happy hour 3-6pm *Taco Tuesdays: 50% off tacos *Thursdays is Ladies Night, 8-10pm free drinks!

The ambiance in this place is really nice and looks like a great spot for happy hour or a night out with friends. I will say the food did not impress me much. I ordered fish tacos and the fish seemed a tad bit dry with a lot of slaw on top. The food is definitely more of Tex mex style. Our waitress was nice and it's definitely a nice spot for drinks. The food was the only downside.

Ladies night is high energy! I would definitely go back. I went for the drinks. And checked out the speakeasy upstairs. Solid 10 out of 10.

WOW WOW AND WOW- definitely a 10/10 experience all around. It was our first time there, and we went for Cinco De Mayo. First impressions: the decor was so vibrant and right on theme with the restaurant. Blake was our server, and he was the bombbbbbbb. Truly, he was so sweet, so patient, and was very personable, just the right person to have as our server for our first time. We started off with the tableside guacamole (such a cool thing to watch! - see pics/vids). It was delicious and the chips were perfectly seasoned too. To kick off our evening, we ordered the Mexican candy shots. We then ordered the strawberry and the passionfruit margarita, which were amazing. For eats, we ordered the Carne Asada tacos and the Birria Tacos. DELISHHHHHH. While we were pretty full at this point, we did order one more drink, strictly because of how cute it looked! We ordered the "Chill N' Go" which is a Pina Colada Margarita. I already cannot wait to come back here. The vibes were perfect; whoever was in control of the music was doing their thing!!! We kept singing and dancing in between bites. Drinks were great, staff was really nice, and we were very satisfied with the food. So glad to have a place this dope so close to home.

I came in on a Saturday for a 6:15 PM reservation for a party of four. I arrived first on time and my first guest arrived at 6:20 PM. I was told I had to wait till the rest of my party arrived. I set at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party. My friend approached the hostess stand to ask if we could be seated as a party of two . Also, advised the Mexican girl that it will be only 3 but, we don't have to wait for her cause she's not gonna be eating since we're on a time schedule and was attending an event. The hostess was very rude and dismissive, stating "that's not how it works" in an unprofessional tone. Later, another hostess came over and said our reservation had "run over" at 6:35 PM, even though we were already in the restaurant before our reservation time window had passed and there were clearly open tables available. The restaurant wasn't packed at all. When we asked again about a table for two, we were told we could either sit at the bar or wait. The interaction felt very unwelcoming and unprofessional. We told the hostess we wanted a table for two to sit down and eat . The black hostess said , so you want to stay at the bar or you want a table . I said a table. She said , the bar ‍I said no a table. She then said that they could refuse service if we had an attitude, which was not the case . I simply answered her question by saying no . Told her I didn't know that saying no is me having an attitude. At that point, we chose to leave and not spend our money there due to the poor customer service and the rudeness of the hostess. Overall, the staff we interacted with on June 20th at 6:15 PM were rude and unprofessional and clearly need better customer service training. Based on this experience, I understand why there are so many negative reviews.

Can't speak for parking as I walked over. You'll have to call and ask or drive around and check it out for yourself. I didn't make a reservation but as busy as it got, I'd recommend it just in case. I sat at the Sushi bar - there's also a bar - but if you want a table - that's where it got busy, then busier when I finished up and left. Service was great! Sitting at the Sushi bar, the crew behind the counter was busy but the wait staff checked up on me like I was a VIP. I didn't even need to ask - someone was there to follow up. Not hovering. Just great timing. They do not offer Sashimi sets thus what you see in the pics I posted. Not complaining - I got my fix later in the week. But enjoyed the meal from appetizer, to dessert and the drinks in-between. I especially enjoyed the Yellowtail Jalapeno - nice punch of flavor - same for the Crab Sunomono. The Margarita Roll had a little kick - not spicy for me but if you're sensitive to spicy heat - might want to avoid. Grabbed the Banana Tempura for dessert. Figured it would pair well with the Banana Bread Old Fashioned. It didn't. Little to strong for it. That's on me. But enjoyed the separately. Next time I'd order something that doesn't overpower the dessert. But next time I might just say it's two desserts - the second being of a liquid variety. Anyway, would I go back? Lots of other places to try but I wouldn't hesitate if someone wanted to go and asked me to tag along.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the decently priced but beautifully executed menu. Try the golden California roll if it's your speed. I think half of us got to-go orders after having a wonderful dinner (shoutout to our server for alerting us before the kitchen closed for the night), and we're already planning our next outing!

I went in with one clear goal: the filet mignon. Five of us ordered steaks, most medium-rare, but the kitchen execution was inconsistent across the table. One steak came out overcooked to well done, another was undercooked closer to rare, while mine was prepared correctly. Unfortunately, consistency was the main issue. The steaks had a good sear and flavor, but several were on the dry side. The highlights of the meal were the starters and sides. The crispy calamari was excellent and easily the standout dish. The crab dip was also well received by the table. The bread that comes with the salads deserves special mention as well, light, slightly sweet, and very fresh, melts in your mouth. The side salads were also great. For my entrée sides, the carrots were well prepared, but the brussels sprouts were undercooked and lacked seasoning, I like a little more flavor especially on my brussels. Dessert brought the meal back up. The apple-pie-ala-mode and brownie with ice cream were both excellent and a strong finish to the evening. Service throughout the night was very good. Our waiter was attentive, efficient, and quick to clear plates. He removed the dirty dishes quicker than a UPS driver working peak-season overtime. The only downside was the dim lighting, which made it a bit difficult to see clearly at times. Overall, while the appetizers, service, and desserts were strong, the inconsistency in steak preparation kept the experience from matching the price tag. Sorry Joey - 3 out of 5 stars

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

The second I saw it, I didn't care about the price -- I knew I wanted it, so I planned us a date night. When we arrived, there was a birthday party going on, and I asked the maître d' if they were limiting seating because of the event. He didn't quite understand me, so my fiancée just asked for a table for two, and we were seated quickly. The setup was nice, although I'm personally not a fan of pre-set plates and glasses on tables (you never know how long they've been sitting there). Still, our server was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and made the night smooth. We came for the famous Piraye Kebab Tray. At first, we were looking at the $165 option (Chef Tray + 1 Meze Board + Shepherd Salad + 4 Orders of Piraye Kebab with rice, all baked inside the dough). When we mentioned the price, our server kindly told us about the smaller 2-order option for $85 -- perfect! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. It has been three days since, and I'm still thinking about it. I even posted it on my stories, and over 10 people have messaged me asking about it. Chef Tray: Overflowing with juicy, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned rice with chickpeas (I swear it was made with veal stock), and that roasted pepper and cheese-stuffed dough on top -- divine. Meze Board: The hummus was creamy and rich, paired perfectly with fresh pita. Shepherd Salad: Fresh, crisp, and balanced. My only small regret was that our server misunderstood when we asked for the dough crust to-go -- I realized the next day it wasn't packed up. Honestly though, I couldn't even be upset, because the food was just that good. For drinks and dessert: Turkish Coffee - small but strong, beautifully presented with a piece of Turkish delight on the side that was everything I had ever imagined a Turkish sweet to be: chewy, fragrant, and delicately sweet. Künefe - a dream come true! A warm, crunchy pastry with gooey melted cheese inside, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios. It was rich, nutty, and sweet without being overwhelming -- the perfect ending. Turkish Martini - decent, but not nearly as memorable as the food. All together, including tip, it was about $140. For the amount and quality of food, the attentive service, and the one-of-a-kind experience, it was absolutely worth every single cent. Piraye Kitchen isn't just dinner -- it's an experience. This is a must-try-before-you-die type of place. Oh, and happy birthday, Amy!

The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.
