I came here to do my daily walk and usually it's closed but I caught it finally. The food was really tasty. Juicy. The young man working the register and drinks was sweet and nice. Service was great and the ambience was nice too since the weather was sunny. I really like this park and the vibes. Will be back soon lol read more

Park perfect location. And the bonus is that they are dog and vegan friendly!! So many seating options available to enjoy your Mexican food- in a booth inside a double decker bus, in a covered space with tables for large groups, in the grassy area of the park, or on the rooftop patio! Endless options. We have been here before and continue to be impressed by the very reasonably priced beverages and would highly recommend the agavero frozen mango margarita with a tajin rim. read more

Tried it today for lunch. We were seated immediately, but we were not acknowledged for at least 15 minutes. It was 12:30, so the lunch crowd was hopping. Chips were very greasy, nothing like the time before when we came for an early dinner! Salsa was the same, but the cheese dip was very thin. My friend had the lunch steak fajitas, and I know he chewed on the last bite for 5 minutes. Finally, spit it into his napkin, saying it was too tough to chew. My special lunch #3 was pretty bland. Pictures of both below. It was way louder today, not only people but the music was pretty cranked, making it kinda hard to talk. I'm sure we will be back, just maybe not at lunch! read more

Went here for lunch today and really enjoyed everything about it! The location, atmosphere inside and out, the food and drinks! They even had a cooler full of assorted popsicles, the coffee flavor was divine. Great activities for the kids, you can sit outside and watch them play to their hearts content. Parking is plentiful and convenient. The only somewhat negative (not a problem for us) was the restroom is separate and a short walk. I would recommend checking this place out, it's unique! read more

After a tough week came as i have for 10 years for the food and the margaritas. I guess all good things come to a end. Too bad!! The reason for the low score is mostly due to the lousy drink. We ordered a pitcher of top shelf margaritas(30.00). I'm a lite drinker and all it takes is a glass of margaritas and I'm tore up..after 2 glasses..not even. A buzz. My friend that drinks same thing. We even told the manager of the issue all we got was "ok". If you're in the mood for good Mexican food and good drinks..go to Los Hermanos..we came here to change things up a bit..no more.. read more

Agavero Parkside is a great place to get a bite while at Lilburn City Park. I've been there several times and every experience was great. I love their chicken fingers and fries. The chicken soup is very good too! After a few hours of Pokémon Go with friends, it's a good place to unwind. read more

You go up to the counter and order food then choose your table. Within two minutes the food arrived. View was great up on the rooftop. Good food but one disappointment- food wasn't hot. It should be served hot. And I think price needs to be lowered a bit since it's fast-food style with plasticware and food obviously cooked beforehand since it wasn't served hot and fresh. Still nice time on patio and fast service. Just price needs to be lowered and food should be served hot. read more

Fun little spot settled within a public park. I ordered chicken with rice and refried beans. It tasted great but there may have been either cross contamination or old food mixed in because I didn't feel too well afterwards. I did enjoy the atmosphere with the mix of music they had to bring us back to some songs we haven't heard in a very long time like Jerry Rivera's Dame un beso asi. I think ill come back for drinks only and enjoy music. read more

Agavero has been our go to for Mexican Food since moving to Lilburn. I regularly get the fajita bowls and have never been disappointed. check out the Parkside location and visit the park for a stroll afterwards. read more

Something big is taking place in Lilburn and Agavero Cantina Parkside is a part of it. And yes . . . Its authentic Mexican food at it's best. The atmosphere mimics Park Tavern at Peidmont Park but on a smaller scale. The best place to sit is upstairs on the new deck where you have an awesome view of the park. When the COVID-19 restrictions minimize, you can hear live music while enjoying drinks and food. This place is truly fantastic! The beautiful staff treat you like family too. read more

the wait was 25 min on a Tuesday night I had so little meat on my fajita and I was told there was nothing I could do about it. Host and hostess seemed to be drunk. My "Texas Fajita" was really 84% veggies and 16% meat. It's okay I guess. read more

This place is a local favorite of mine!The food is phenomenal, I get the Double Decker Chimichanga every time and it is always delicious. It comes with two mini chimichangas stacked on top of each other. This is a mostly outdoor location with a double decker bus attached to a covered patio. The bus had space for indoor seating. The atmosphere of this location is awesome, it is located right in Lilburn City Park. My husband and I like to go for a short stroll on the park with our dog and after stop and enjoy some margaritas and some good food. It is a very lively place with fun music and great staff! This location is also very dog friendly as it is mostly outdoors. read more

Yum yum yummy! Great authentic Mexican food. I had the grilled chicken tacos, Mexican street corn in a cup and sangria. The tacos are fresh and delicious. The corn is also a winner, a little on the spicy side. The sangria was ok, overpriced at almost $10 for a cup, but there was a good amount of vodka. read more

Great food, but way too expensive. They make alright Mexican food out of a bus, so it shouldn't be that much money. I could get a lot cheaper food with similar quality some place else. I like sitting outside on the top though, the atmosphere is nice. read more

I literally can NOT rave enough about this place. It's soooo cute and literally a hidden gem. It's great for family and everyone really. Get your food and then take a walk afterward if you'd like. I was not liking paying before I eat but this place relax atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good, I had 3 tacos and chips with cheese and salsa. I thought it would not full me up but I am not complaining. Best experience I had since I visited Puerto Rica. Need a good place to eat and have drink or two this is the place. I live on the other side of town so, I will be making regular visit to this restaurant. read more

Love this place! A good menu with all the staples! You can't beat the ambience! It is right on the park. Friendly staff and prompt service. We had the Mexican street corn, steak, chicken and shrimp tacos. They were too delicious and we ate them before we thought to post a picture. Pleasant spanish music on the speakers. Kids can play in the park while you finish eating and talking. Update: GET the churros with ice cream! read more

Food was good! Waited a bit but I didnt mind. They let us know it might be a wait when we ordered. And still apologized and explained at our table. Love the frozen margaritas and the chicken burrito covered in sauce. It's nice to eat at an open air restaurant at the park. Definitely coming back. Prices are more mid range than fast food prices but I bet it offsets the operating costs. Definitely coming back and bringing more people. read more

Went here for lunch on a Sunday. We weren't impressed with the food here and dint plan on returning. They also only have bottled water and you have to buy your chips and salsa. The prices were a little expensive for what you get. The service was good though but we prefer to go to the Lilburn Agavero location. read more

Young service manager... not so good with our large party. We felt more of an inconvenience and not appreciated for choosing the restaurant. We were told we could come at 11:30 the prior day with the girls soccer team... being left outside in the cold and told not open... while the manager smiled with other staff. Found an alternative restaurant that gladly took our group. read more

Place sucks. Had a chicken quesadilla since they didnt have any real meats for tacos (al pastor, chorizo, lengua, barbacoa, carnitas, borrego, cabeza, etc.... nothing!) Was super watery and soggy. Barely any chicken. And that's about it. Was very sloppy. Not very flavorful. Tasted like chicken out of a can soaked in water. Very small too. Was still hungry. Never eating here again. Go to Tito's taqueria for the real stuff... fire .. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite. I had 3 tacos. 2 steak and 1 chicken. They were fantastic! I liked the steak better, but that's my preference anyway. They have 3 sauces for you to choose from. Used a little, but they didn't need much help. Oh, they have beer and margaritas too! Love this place! read more

Great food and margaritas at a great price. Not an extensive menu but that's not the point. I had shrimp soup. My husband had 3 tacos - chicken shrimp and beef and said he would have all again. My son had the burritos and pronounced them "awesome". Nice alternative to the public market. read more

We love this Parkside location, but were very disappointed that it wasn't open on Labor Day. It was a beautiful day, the park was very busy with lots of folks expecting to enjoy the delicious food on the new deck. We were all surprised and sad to find it closed. read more

I had dry chicken tacos. The chicken was salty and the taco was kind of cold and soggy. When I bit into it, everything fell apart. It's definitely not authentic Mexican food but does the job for people with unseasoned palates. read more

This place is awesome! We always get nachos and margaritas after taking our dog for our walk through the park. The food is excellent; I would definitely recommend any of the nachos, and the margaritas are great at a reasonable price. The customer service is excellent, they are always quick and bring our dog water which is really nice of them. Definitely check this place out! read more

We have been eating here for awhile. Our last visit on 4/15/21, we ordered the grilled chicken soft tacos, like we always do however this time was different, the chicken is no longer grilled and it appears to be the precooked bagged chopped chicken thats has been seasoned with an "orange" colored spice. I hope that they go back to their original recipe. read more

They do not have any tennis courts as they were taken out to increase parking spots, but they do have a nice multipurpose trail for those who like to bike. In total, the trail is about 10K if you do an entire loop on both sides. Overall, if you live nearby, this is a great park. The main trail located near the playground loops around making it .5 miles, but if you take the stairs up to the field there is another.5 miles of paved track. Also off of the main trail near the backside soccer fields is a walk way that takes you pass the parking lot and the trail continues around. All in all it is a nice park with friendly people. There are no steep hills or rocky areas making this trail an easy walk/run. The park is also equipped with soccer fields, a basketball court and small playground. My dog loved the walk and getting to meet other friendly dogs, however there is not a separate dog area or any big open spaces ( besides for the gated soccer field)

We found the pools to be quite cold. Bethesda Park and Aquatic Center will become one of our go-to spots at times. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Maybe it's this way to give you a sense of adventure? At least it's tough to get really lost since you're often within sight of houses or the road. Beautiful woods! As for restrooms, there was a porta potty in the parking lot adjacent to the playground by Lake Erin, and the map indicates that there are other restrooms in Henderson Park too. Speaking of maps, I might recommend a quick peek at one before you go since the park can be accessed from different roads (Henderson and Livsey). Didn't get to explore the other side of the park with the native plant and wildlife walk this trip but next time!

This is a great neighborhood park. If I lived nearby, I'd take a walk here every chance I could. In addition to the trails, there are athletic fields, a kids play area and a great wide deck where people can look out at the lake or eat a nice lunch. There is a lot of parking and the park itself is well-maintained. I was able to find a map of the park trails online, and it was helpful but trail maps aren't perfect. I tried to walk as many of the trails as I could, but I was turned around a lot. We'd also had a lot of rain prior to my visit so a lower trail path by the lake was flooded. There is a small waterfall in the park, and I think I saw it but I'm not sure. There were a lot of rock formations in the creeks/streams, and none were labeled. I went to Henderson Park with a friend who needed to use the bathroom. The main bathrooms are located on the west end of the park by the soccer fields. On the east end of the park, there are port-a-potties. There are no bathrooms near the kids park which was a surprise and why I mention where the bathrooms are located. Overall, I'm glad that I gave Henderson Park a visit. The people who live nearby are lucky to have it.

They just updated their patio. Overall this is a nice park. They do not have any tennis courts as they were taken out to increase parking spots, but they do have a nice multipurpose trail for those who like to bike. In total, the trail is about 10K if you do an entire loop on both sides. Overall, if you live nearby, this is a great park. First we walk in an hour after opening on a Sunday, place was empty.......we walk right up to the counter and I tell the girl that I had looked the pricing up online and I knew I wanted to do the 3 race, game card, and k1 membership pass for 3 boys. She gave me a blank stare and then said oh you mean 2 race. Ok. Rude. But ok yeah that. She proceeds to ask the boys had they ever been there before. 1 of my sons friends says yes. So she goes you need to go check him on the computer with a waiver first because he has a membership so you won't pay for that part for him. Here I am thinking oh she is being helpful after being wrong. I smile. We go to computers do the waiver for 1 boy as instructed. We go back to the counter now 2 more groups have come in. We have to wait behind 1 group now since there is only one cashier/check in person although there were at least 5 other staff in the building including a manager. Anyway after we wait for that group to check in. I step back to the counter and THEN she proceeds to tell me oh you didn't do the waiver for the other two. I'm like you told me to do it only for the one that had been here before. So again we step out of line and go BACK to the computers. At this time I'm starting to get annoyed. By this time more people are coming in, so now my boys will have to wait behind several big groups when we arrived before ALL of these people. When I finally get back to the counter.....all boys are checked in. She got RUDE again. And wanted to loudly explain pricing to me and make sure I knew that the boys only got a $10 game card for what I was about to pay. Like VERY loud. I didn't hear her do this with any of the other groups that checked in before us and I hate to say this.......none of them were my complexion. Never once was I rude or matching her volume or tone. We actually walked in that place happy because we were supposed to be celebrating. Well anyway it didn't stop there. Once we got checked no instructions were given on what to do next outside of the girl at the counter giving me my receipt and their game cards. So my boys walked over to where you line up to go on the track and yet another employee was RUDE to them by telling them to back away from the gate and wait for someone to call them. They are EXCITED to be here Jeesh, so then after she yells at them they come over to me saying they not going to let her ruin the joy. They finally get called to race and all the boys are overwhelmed after the employees stopped the cars several time or slowed their speed down all during the race. Then in between their first and second race we went to their "arcade" which only has 12 games......which none of them are less than 40 credits for 1 game. $10 gets you 200 in credits. While one of the boys was in the process of playing a game they got called back for their 2nd race. It was EVEN worse than the first one. We decided to opt out of trying their food and went somewhere else to grab lunch. 0 stars would not recommend.

Gabe kept the energy going, danced, and kept the games engaging. Jayden kept the score. They kept the energy up and Jayden had the right music playing for our group. My turns booked it but said there are various options to the games you could choose. We did the Family Feud style game, Fill in the Blank, corn hole and flip cups. My team was losing until flip cups lol. We came back and won the battle lol! My husband said he enjoyed it and would do it again & that he had more fun than he expected. That's a win in & of itself! lol Please bring cash or have Cash App to tip your host and game tech advisor person; I forgot the title lol. They make your game show battle experience fun! The restrooms were clean. They sell water, soft drinks, some beer, seltzers, and maybe wine and sports drinks. I don't think I saw any food for sell. It's all about the game show battles anyway! We played several different games like wheel of fortune, family feud, and price is right. We had so much fun. After the games we returned into the first room and had food. I definitely recommend for team and friend outings.

1/20/2021 Bryson…read morePark has a paved trail that splits off in about 3 directions. The entirety of these interconnected paved paths is about 1.5 miles. The main trail located near the playground loops around making it .5 miles, but if you take the stairs up to the field there is another.5 miles of paved track. Also off of the main trail near the backside soccer fields is a walk way that takes you pass the parking lot and the trail continues around. All in all it is a nice park with friendly people. There are no steep hills or rocky areas making this trail an easy walk/run. The park is also equipped with soccer fields, a basketball court and small playground. My dog loved the walk and getting to meet other friendly dogs, however there is not a separate dog area or any big open spaces ( besides for the gated soccer field)
