I came here to do my daily walk and usually it's closed but I caught it finally. The food was really tasty. Juicy. The young man working the register and drinks was sweet and nice. Service was great and the ambience was nice too since the weather was sunny. I really like this park and the vibes. Will be back soon lol read more

Park perfect location. And the bonus is that they are dog and vegan friendly!! So many seating options available to enjoy your Mexican food- in a booth inside a double decker bus, in a covered space with tables for large groups, in the grassy area of the park, or on the rooftop patio! Endless options. We have been here before and continue to be impressed by the very reasonably priced beverages and would highly recommend the agavero frozen mango margarita with a tajin rim. read more

Tried it today for lunch. We were seated immediately, but we were not acknowledged for at least 15 minutes. It was 12:30, so the lunch crowd was hopping. Chips were very greasy, nothing like the time before when we came for an early dinner! Salsa was the same, but the cheese dip was very thin. My friend had the lunch steak fajitas, and I know he chewed on the last bite for 5 minutes. Finally, spit it into his napkin, saying it was too tough to chew. My special lunch #3 was pretty bland. Went here for lunch today and really enjoyed everything about it! The location, atmosphere inside and out, the food and drinks! They even had a cooler full of assorted popsicles, the coffee flavor was divine. Great activities for the kids, you can sit outside and watch them play to their hearts content. Parking is plentiful and convenient. The only somewhat negative (not a problem for us) was the restroom is separate and a short walk. I would recommend checking this place out, it's unique! read more

After a tough week came as i have for 10 years for the food and the margaritas. I guess all good things come to a end. Too bad!! The reason for the low score is mostly due to the lousy drink. We ordered a pitcher of top shelf margaritas(30.00). I'm a lite drinker and all it takes is a glass of margaritas and I'm tore up..after 2 glasses..not even. A buzz. My friend that drinks same thing. We even told the manager of the issue all we got was "ok". Agavero Parkside is a great place to get a bite while at Lilburn City Park. I've been there several times and every experience was great. I love their chicken fingers and fries. The chicken soup is very good too! After a few hours of Pokémon Go with friends, it's a good place to unwind. read more

You go up to the counter and order food then choose your table. Within two minutes the food arrived. View was great up on the rooftop. Good food but one disappointment- food wasn't hot. It should be served hot. And I think price needs to be lowered a bit since it's fast-food style with plasticware and food obviously cooked beforehand since it wasn't served hot and fresh. Still nice time on patio and fast service. Just price needs to be lowered and food should be served hot. read more

Fun little spot settled within a public park. I ordered chicken with rice and refried beans. It tasted great but there may have been either cross contamination or old food mixed in because I didn't feel too well afterwards. I did enjoy the atmosphere with the mix of music they had to bring us back to some songs we haven't heard in a very long time like Jerry Rivera's Dame un beso asi. I think ill come back for drinks only and enjoy music. read more

Something big is taking place in Lilburn and Agavero Cantina Parkside is a part of it. And yes . . . Its authentic Mexican food at it's best. The atmosphere mimics Park Tavern at Peidmont Park but on a smaller scale. The best place to sit is upstairs on the new deck where you have an awesome view of the park. When the COVID-19 restrictions minimize, you can hear live music while enjoying drinks and food. This place is truly fantastic! The beautiful staff treat you like family too. read more

This place is a local favorite of mine!The food is phenomenal, I get the Double Decker Chimichanga every time and it is always delicious. It comes with two mini chimichangas stacked on top of each other. This is a mostly outdoor location with a double decker bus attached to a covered patio. The bus had space for indoor seating. The atmosphere of this location is awesome, it is located right in Lilburn City Park. My husband and I like to go for a short stroll on the park with our dog and after stop and enjoy some margaritas and some good food. It is a very lively place with fun music and great staff! This location is also very dog friendly as it is mostly outdoors. read more

Yum yum yummy! Great authentic Mexican food. I had the grilled chicken tacos, Mexican street corn in a cup and sangria. The tacos are fresh and delicious. The corn is also a winner, a little on the spicy side. The sangria was ok, overpriced at almost $10 for a cup, but there was a good amount of vodka. read more

Great food, but way too expensive. They make alright Mexican food out of a bus, so it shouldn't be that much money. I could get a lot cheaper food with similar quality some place else. I like sitting outside on the top though, the atmosphere is nice. read more

I literally can NOT rave enough about this place. It's soooo cute and literally a hidden gem. It's great for family and everyone really. Get your food and then take a walk afterward if you'd like. I was not liking paying before I eat but this place relax atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good, I had 3 tacos and chips with cheese and salsa. I thought it would not full me up but I am not complaining. Best experience I had since I visited Puerto Rica. Need a good place to eat and have drink or two this is the place. I live on the other side of town so, I will be making regular visit to this restaurant. read more

Love this place! A good menu with all the staples! You can't beat the ambience! It is right on the park. Friendly staff and prompt service. We had the Mexican street corn, steak, chicken and shrimp tacos. They were too delicious and we ate them before we thought to post a picture. Pleasant spanish music on the speakers. Kids can play in the park while you finish eating and talking. Update: GET the churros with ice cream! read more

Food was good! Waited a bit but I didnt mind. They let us know it might be a wait when we ordered. And still apologized and explained at our table. Love the frozen margaritas and the chicken burrito covered in sauce. It's nice to eat at an open air restaurant at the park. Definitely coming back. Prices are more mid range than fast food prices but I bet it offsets the operating costs. Definitely coming back and bringing more people. read more

Went here for lunch on a Sunday. We weren't impressed with the food here and dint plan on returning. They also only have bottled water and you have to buy your chips and salsa. The prices were a little expensive for what you get. The service was good though but we prefer to go to the Lilburn Agavero location. read more

Young service manager... not so good with our large party. We felt more of an inconvenience and not appreciated for choosing the restaurant. We were told we could come at 11:30 the prior day with the girls soccer team... being left outside in the cold and told not open... while the manager smiled with other staff. Place sucks. Had a chicken quesadilla since they didnt have any real meats for tacos (al pastor, chorizo, lengua, barbacoa, carnitas, borrego, cabeza, etc.... nothing!) Was super watery and soggy. Barely any chicken. And that's about it. Was very sloppy. Not very flavorful. Tasted like chicken out of a can soaked in water. Very small too. Was still hungry. Never eating here again. Stopped in for a quick bite. I had 3 tacos. 2 steak and 1 chicken. They were fantastic! I liked the steak better, but that's my preference anyway. They have 3 sauces for you to choose from. Great food and margaritas at a great price. Not an extensive menu but that's not the point. I had shrimp soup. My husband had 3 tacos - chicken shrimp and beef and said he would have all again. My son had the burritos and pronounced them "awesome". Nice alternative to the public market. read more

We love this Parkside location, but were very disappointed that it wasn't open on Labor Day. It was a beautiful day, the park was very busy with lots of folks expecting to enjoy the delicious food on the new deck. We were all surprised and sad to find it closed. read more

This place is awesome! We always get nachos and margaritas after taking our dog for our walk through the park. The food is excellent; I would definitely recommend any of the nachos, and the margaritas are great at a reasonable price. The customer service is excellent, they are always quick and bring our dog water which is really nice of them. Definitely check this place out! read more

We have been eating here for awhile. Our last visit on 4/15/21, we ordered the grilled chicken soft tacos, like we always do however this time was different, the chicken is no longer grilled and it appears to be the precooked bagged chopped chicken thats has been seasoned with an "orange" colored spice. I hope that they go back to their original recipe. read more

Good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors. They will always bring you a basket of chips and salsa to start with. And unlike most other places, they are actually GOOD quality and they give you a sizeable portion to start so you're not constantly asking for chip refills. And they have no issues giving those to you as well. Menu is on the smaller side, but you can't go wrong with one of their tacos. Tried a few and have yet to have a bad experience. A few years back I occasionally had some issues with the tacos being burnt but haven't this happen again in recent visits. One thing I also really like is the rice and beans they give you with the tacos. While that may be a standard for any mexican joint, the rice has a bit of cheese mixed into it and is done very well. Perfect to add into any taco or enjoy on its own. The drinks are pretty on-point as well. Although the tacos may not look that big on initial glance they will definitely fill you up especially if you opt for their sour cream and guac, which were both done very well. Overall, this is probably my favorite spot for Mexican in the area, and I'll keep coming back every time I visit GA.

They just updated their patio. Overall this is a nice park. They do not have any tennis courts as they were taken out to increase parking spots, but they do have a nice multipurpose trail for those who like to bike. In total, the trail is about 10K if you do an entire loop on both sides. Overall, if you live nearby, this is a great park. Here I am thinking oh she is being helpful after being wrong. I smile. We go to computers do the waiver for 1 boy as instructed. We go back to the counter now 2 more groups have come in. We have to wait behind 1 group now since there is only one cashier/check in person although there were at least 5 other staff in the building including a manager. Anyway after we wait for that group to check in. I step back to the counter and THEN she proceeds to tell me oh you didn't do the waiver for the other two. I'm like you told me to do it only for the one that had been here before. So again we step out of line and go BACK to the computers. At this time I'm starting to get annoyed. By this time more people are coming in, so now my boys will have to wait behind several big groups when we arrived before ALL of these people. When I finally get back to the counter.....all boys are checked in. She got RUDE again. And wanted to loudly explain pricing to me and make sure I knew that the boys only got a $10 game card for what I was about to pay. Like VERY loud. I didn't hear her do this with any of the other groups that checked in before us and I hate to say this.......none of them were my complexion. Never once was I rude or matching her volume or tone. We actually walked in that place happy because we were supposed to be celebrating. Well anyway it didn't stop there. Once we got checked no instructions were given on what to do next outside of the girl at the counter giving me my receipt and their game cards. So my boys walked over to where you line up to go on the track and yet another employee was RUDE to them by telling them to back away from the gate and wait for someone to call them. They are EXCITED to be here Jeesh, so then after she yells at them they come over to me saying they not going to let her ruin the joy. They finally get called to race and all the boys are overwhelmed after the employees stopped the cars several time or slowed their speed down all during the race. Then in between their first and second race we went to their "arcade" which only has 12 games......which none of them are less than 40 credits for 1 game. $10 gets you 200 in credits. While one of the boys was in the process of playing a game they got called back for their 2nd race. It was EVEN worse than the first one. We decided to opt out of trying their food and went somewhere else to grab lunch. 0 stars would not recommend.

The main trail located near the playground loops around making it .5 miles, but if you take the stairs up to the field there is another.5 miles of paved track. Also off of the main trail near the backside soccer fields is a walk way that takes you pass the parking lot and the trail continues around. All in all it is a nice park with friendly people. There are no steep hills or rocky areas making this trail an easy walk/run. The park is also equipped with soccer fields, a basketball court and small playground. My dog loved the walk and getting to meet other friendly dogs, however there is not a separate dog area or any big open spaces ( besides for the gated soccer field)

I ordered the veggie burrito which was filled with vegetables - beans, rice, corn, cheese, cauliflower, broccoli, onion, green peppers, etc. The flavors were good and unique. We placed a meal order totaling over $60.00 and intended to spend an additional amount on dessert. We did not request that our order be prepared "to-go"; our expectation was to dine on the premises. At the time, we were the only African-American customers in the establishment. Timeline of Events: 1. We completed our order and sat down at a table. I then proceeded to the salsa bar to prepare for our meal. 2. After approximately 20 to 30 minutes, we noticed that several customers who had ordered after us, who were white and Hispanic, had received their food. Our order had not yet been called. 3. Throughout this wait, a to-go order sat visibly on the counter near the cashier. We did not associate this order with ourselves, as we had ordered to dine in. Notably, all other customers who received their food had their order numbers called out by the staff for pickup. Our number was never called. 4. After the kitchen staff began to clean up, the cashier approached our table and inquired what we were waiting for. 5. My wife presented our receipt. The cashier then retrieved the previously mentioned to-go order from the counter, which had been sitting for at least 20 minutes, and confirmed it was ours. The Cashier's Explanation and Our Conclusion: When I asked the cashier why our order was packed to-go when we never requested it, she stated that she "just pressed the to-go button." Given the discrepancy in service--with white and Hispanic customers receiving timely, dine-in service with their numbers being called, while our order was deliberately packaged for takeout and left to sit without notification--this explanation is highly insufficient. The cashier's subsequent, delayed offer of plates for the now-cold food was dismissive. This entire experience led us to the unavoidable conclusion that the service we received was fundamentally different and discriminatory. The staff appeared to assume we were leaving, effectively prioritizing the comfort and service of all other patrons over ours. We informed the cashier that the experience was unwelcoming, and we requested a full refund, which was provided. We left the establishment without eating. This incident is a clear example of subtle racism in a public accommodation, resulting in disrespectful service and a negative dining experience.
