    Street Tacos

Great service and friendly staff. Clean and nice environment. I had the street tacos and they all were delicious! I had dinner with a friend here for the first time and will be back. Great place for authentic Mexican on Daniel Island.

Friendly visitor looking for chips and salsa

Great ambiance to include a gator by the pond! Frozen mango margs with tajin were delicious! Golden tacos were tasty - ask for habanero salsa to top them off! Really good refried beans! Overall, really good meal! Recommend and would go back!

This is Hands down the best food delivery I have ever gotten! Thank you I Have also dined in and the service is great, food/margaritas are amazing ! This is definitely a place worth spending your money

    Tacos Alambre are fantastic.

My fiancé got the gringo beef tacos and were also great! Chips and salsa presented almost immediately. The queso with meat hit the spot. We ordered skinny margaritas and watched them get prepared FRESH. Overall great experience and will be back. The service was quick and pleasant. Sitting at the bar is always what we do. There was TVs playing live sports and upbeat music. The typical ambiance you would expect in a joint like this. Food smacked.

Casual date night with my wife. We decided on Agave because we had other plans on Daniel Island and we were in the mood for Mexican. The restaurant was almost empty. The atmosphere was more of a sports bar. The menu was large and chaotic so make sure that you study it a bit. Our waiter was really really great so that was the highlight of the evening. The food was bland. Sad to say like most local Mexican eateries. We love calamari and always try it wherever we go. Please don't order it. Worst we ever had. So when you are on the island and need a quick bite I would say go. It's not bad. And it's not good. It's just ok. Just like this review. I'm sounding like the three little bears aren't I. Take care peeps...

Food was average. There is a large variety of food which is nice. Overall this place is meh. Pretty filling but food is a little bland (could use some hot sauce)

COVID 19 takeout. Great job! Grande Beef Burrito and 2 seafood Enchiladas. Delicious! #thegreatamericantakeout

Decent Mexican for the area. Nachos are great - my wife likes the tacos and I enjoy a good pollo con chorizo. Would recommend

It definitely has a more upscale feel than most Mexican restaurants I've been to. It's a bit pricey, but honestly, the complimentary salsa bar with perfectly crispy tortilla chips is worth it. I don't know what they put in that green sauce, but I kept going back for more. And yes, another refill of chips, please! I had the chicken fajitas as my main entrée, and that chicken... easily some of the best I've ever had. It was incredibly moist, loaded with flavor, and perfectly cooked. I also got to try the quail from the JJ, and that was definitely the star of the show. So flavorful. I could eat about 10 or more of the quails. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and plenty of reasons to return. Highly recommend!

While the queso and the meat were good (not much of it though), everything else left a lot to be desired. The sauces were not good and kind of ruined the food for me. I'm surprised by how unimpressed we were. It's certainly not awful but wasn't worth $70 for two dinners (no alcohol). I don't recommend it and don't think we'll be back, unfortunately.

To start we ordered the trio: guac, queso, and salsa + chips and the quesadilla. The Trio was good, about what you'd expect for chips and salsa at most places. The quesadilla was quite good as well. I ordered the Lobster roll (forgot complete name) and the Tsunami roll. Both of my rolls were incredible. They were very nice, 10/10 rolls. The fish was fresh, and the flavors were on point. All of my friends also enjoyed the rolls they ordered. I also ordered the fish collar tacos, which is easily the best bang for your buck on the menu. The plate only costs $14 and it comes with 2 fat fish collars, not sure what species, forgot to ask, if I had to guess I would say grouper or cobia. These collars are beautiful fried and loaded with meat. Additionally the plate comes with some lettuce, cilantro, lime, pineapple pico, sauce, and 3 flour tortillas. If you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty to separate the meat from bone, you will get three very very filled fish tacos and have meat to spare. Needless to say, the fish collar tacos were delicious and very well priced. All in all, I had a good time; the service was phenomenal, drinks were constantly being refilled, and there's really nothing to complain about. Great experience!

One thing I really appreciate is their QR code ordering system. You can order at your own pace, whether you're looking for a quick meal between shopping stops or want to settle in and enjoy a more relaxed dining experience. It's a simple system that makes the whole experience feel effortless. Our group's go-to order is the trio appetizer to share, followed by one or two tacos each. Everything is flavorful and just the right portion size, making it easy to mix and match different tacos each visit. Bartaco is almost always busy, so expect a 10-30 minute wait during peak times. Thankfully, with so many shops nearby, the wait goes by quickly and is well worth it. Between the convenient location, good food, and laid-back atmosphere, it's a spot we find ourselves coming back to again and again.
