I've been nervous to try the Mexican food here because I know what the good stuff tastes like and I can't stand Texmex. Mexican food is basically my comfort food and this was definitely authentic and delicious! I got the Chile Colorado, a lengua street taco, and the queso. The beans and rice were also tasty. He provided recommendations and was also checking in on our table. My friends ordered a variety of margaritas (frozen and on the rocks - all delicious they said, especially the Pomegranate.) For food, it all came out hot and Alex's recommendations were well received by the table. Everyone spoke very highly of their plates. I had the biggest disappointment with my salad.
