They brought in a company, a friend of the owners, to pack up my furniture and store it. "BUST A MOVE" was the name of that company. Well after not hearing from that company for 1.5 months I called to see what was going on with my belongings. Cole, tells me he discarded me furniture, he told me he has a note from me saying he could throw away my belongings. He gave me a specific date even, January 27th, I did not ever give him permission. So after telling him to send that note to me immediately he confessed he was lying. After calling eclipse and speaking to Piere, by text, he told me they would correct everything. Now it's September and Cole is MIA, I can't even find BUST A MOVE anywhere, and I'm still without my furniture. I would look somewhere else. As a matter of fact my Allstate adjuster denied they sent them to my house. With copies of my conversation with both Allstate and eclipse I was able to prove it was a company sent by Allstate. But looks like Allstate wants to put space between their company and eclipse. If you want trouble, hire eclipse.

I was referred to Imperial Restoration, and from the beginning Scott Gamble was extremely persistent and pressured me into acting immediately. He repeatedly emphasized the urgency, warned me about mold, placed a blower in the home, and strongly pushed me to open an insurance claim, assuring me the damage should be covered. Because of his persistence, I contacted my insurance company and asked whether they could begin mitigation work while the claim was being reviewed. Based on the information and photos Scott already submitted to insurance, I was told they could proceed. Work started on May 6 and was finished by May 8. Here are my concerns: * No written estimate was provided before work began. * I did not receive clear pricing upfront before authorizing work. * I felt pressured into making quick decisions out of fear of mold and further damage. * Scott repeatedly pushed me to pressure my insurance adjuster for approvals and communication. * The company left my kitchen in disarray, including tarps and debris. * I specifically asked whether they would also restore/replace the damaged cabinets and kitchen components, and was told they had "a contractor" for that instead of handling it directly. Ultimately, my homeowners insurance denied the claim, stating the damage appeared to be long-term and not a sudden covered loss. Now I am personally stuck with an invoice for $3,377.91 due June 1, 2026, for work that I felt rushed and pressured into approving under the belief it would likely be covered by insurance. I was also later informed that concerns had arisen regarding some of the documentation/photos that had been submitted to insurance, which made me even more uncomfortable with the entire situation. Now my elderly father is left without a functioning kitchen sink, garbage disposal, or dishwasher, and this entire experience has created tremendous stress for our family. My advice to anyone dealing with water damage: Please get multiple opinions and multiple estimates before authorizing work. Do not let fear tactics or pressure rush you into making decisions. Ask for everything in writing before any work starts, including estimates, scope of work, billing expectations, and insurance responsibilities. I turned off the water line and made an emergency call to a plumber. The plumber came out and fixed the initial problem upstairs in my hallway bathroom, but showed me how water damage soaked through the bathroom flooring, the upstairs vanity, all the way downstairs through my kitchen pantry to the water socket. It was a total mess and he referred me to this company who as he explained was a One-Stop shop from start to finish. As advertised, they came in the very same day and ripped out all of the bad material, set up dehumidifiers, gave me estimates, put material on order and worked with me and my home insurance to get things back to new. Anna was wonderful, as she did all the scheduling and kept me informed of the the scope of the project and she handled all of the administrative process seamlessly. Total time to finish part of kitchen, small bathroom and coat closet - three months! Hell, whole houses can be done in that amount of time. They threw away existing pieces and parts and installed mismatched, wrong color, and ill fitting parts instead. They informed me that I should do a mold remediation to the tune of $2000, with an additional $500 mold clearance test (none of which my insurance would cover). The guy was a fast talker, and quite the salesman. I felt so much pressure and so I called Pinnacle Restoration. I was thinking maybe they'll have a lower bid for the remediation. When the owner saw the area, she informed me 1) the other company did not demo enough of the drywall and 2) if I was her client, they would've treated that area for free and it was ridiculous what the company was trying to do. In prior situations, restoration companies have arrived within an hour due to the urgency of water damage. In this case, it took approximately 30 hours for 702 Resto Guys to come out. If I had not been persistent and adamant about needing someone sooner, it would have been closer to 48 hours because the technician was reportedly out of town. Given the urgency of water mitigation, that delay was unacceptable, and in my opinion, they should not have been recommended in the first place. From the beginning, I clearly stated multiple times that I believed the issue was a pinhole leak based on prior experience with plumbing issues in my home. Instead of properly investigating, I was told the damage was coming from a flooded bathroom and warned about potential mold and extensive structural damage. I felt pressured and alarmed into approving major demolition under the belief that my bathroom and ceiling would require full restoration. They proceeded to remove far more drywall than necessary -- approximately three to four feet more than needed -- claiming it was wet. The demolition was extremely messy. Cuts were uneven and unprofessional, and they did not properly seal off the work area. Even when drying equipment and an air scrubber were placed, the area was not properly contained. That lack of containment during demolition and drying is not only unprofessional -- it raises safety concerns. After tearing everything apart, they then admitted it was not a bathroom issue at all. It was simply a pinhole leak -- exactly what I had said from the start. By that point, significant and unnecessary damage had already been done. During a conversation with the owner, Kevin, he stated that he could "make it look like" the damage came from the bathroom. That comment made me extremely uncomfortable, as it implied misrepresenting the source of damage to my insurance company. I had no interest in anything dishonest. I simply wanted accountability and for the company to take responsibility for the unnecessary demolition and damage caused. I requested photos of the alleged damage and moisture findings, but they have refused to provide them. However, I do have security camera footage from inside my home that captured the verbal conversation. Additionally, during demolition, they lost the sensors to my alarm system while tearing down the door framework -- creating yet another unexpected and costly repair. Kevin later stated that he would have the damage fixed and make things right. He told me he would put the agreement in writing via email so we could resolve the issue and move forward. He never followed through. I obtained a quote to repair the additional damage, and it will cost thousands. Despite his assurances, he has not come through with what he promised to help alleviate and fix the problem. I have also heard concerning information suggesting that positive reviews may be incentivized. While I cannot personally verify that, it raises additional concerns for me about the reliability of the company's online ratings. Because I was initially told this was extensive bathroom damage, I agreed to move forward assuming I would need to file an insurance claim and pay my $2,000 deductible. I am now left with additional damage, higher repair costs, and unnecessary stress -- all from what turned out to be a simple pinhole leak. This entire situation has caused significant anxiety and stress for my family. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into an overwhelming and traumatic experience. Homeowners rely on restoration companies for honesty, professionalism, and accurate assessments during stressful situations. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
