These folks can't do enough for you. They'll bend over backwards to make sure that your visit is exceptional.....careful, not that kind of bend over backwards. This isn't K*** S****. We were treated like Maharaja's. The only thing missing was that we weren't fanned with palm fronds. But the beer kept us cool. It's a good thing too. If you're not careful, the food can get quite spicy! I started with a corn soup. It was interesting, and flavorful. Too bad their menu didn't have my favorite, Mulligatawny. That's OK though, my son-in-law brought me 8 cans from England. So I'm good for a couple of weeks. Their Naan is good and garlicky, and great to help cool down the heat a bit. No, we weren't fanned with it. It was used for dipping purposes. Our main dishes were deliciously spiced, and were quite efficient at filling the void. Also too at appeasing the exotic taste buds. Would I go back to Aha again? Yes. Would I venture deeper into their extensive menu? Yes! I say uh huh to Aha. Quick Tip: If this will be your first vist to Aha, start with mild heat and work yourself up. They'll gladly bring you increasingly more potent, to the point where you'll be risking becoming impotent! read more

If I could leave 3.5 stars I would, but cannot leave a 4. A couple of rubs.... Not a big deal, however the waitress, just seemed very aloof. I sat for a good 5-7 minutes with my credit card on the table, only to walk up to the register, to finally pay my check. I had some sort of onion "petals" as an app. Very good and pretty unique. I am also HUGE chicken vindaloo fan. So that's what I ordered. What was served, was more of a masala style with an orangish colored sauce, instead of the typical deep red. The other issue was, the big clumps of chicken that were in the bowl/not cut all the way through. Since only a spoon and a fork are served, I had no way to cut the large pieces, and simply left them on the plate. read more

So glad Spring hill has a place to get Indian now! Tons of options on the menu. They do not play about spice, I always suggest spicing down just a little, if you aren't looking to be burnt up. The food was good, and the kids options worked well with my family. Pretty mural on the wall, and amazing service (we had a very large party and birthday with multiple children) - waitress was great, and even got is a free slice of cake. The prices are a little steep (but hey- what isn't anymore lol) But worth it for a memorable dinner out read more

Very consistent quality every single time. We've only done take-out, so I can't speak to anything involving the service, but we love all of the Naan options and the veggie somosa. My go-to is the boneless chicken briyani and the portions are massive. You can easily stretch it out for another 1-2 days if you wanted to. read more

Got a few things to go. Chili chicken along with the bread was great. I got it at a medium heat and it was just right. I also got the Hyderabad chicken. This was awesome along with the white rice. Will definitely be returning. read more

Went for team dinner who wanted to try Indian food in town. Food is below average we tried couple of things sweet corn soup had more black pepper which was just not going the took panner tikka again it was bland and green chutney was watery . Then took biryani and Yougurt was just watery and panner was hard and no flavorful at all. Chicken pepper fry was the only dish which was nice rest all food was below average. Quantity is decent and worth the r price . Service is nice host was nice and warm. Ambiance was just as normal nothing which stands out. Won't recommend coming back to this place read more

Aha The Indian Grill in Spring Hill, TN, is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots for Indian food, and this was only my second time ordering from them. I placed an online order for takeout, and when I walked in to pick up my order, I was immediately greeted by a kind staff member who made the whole pickup process quick and easy, which I really appreciated since it was my first time going in. I ordered the butter chicken entree in mild, which also came with rice, and I also got a side of garlic naan to go along with it. The butter chicken was so good, flavorful, and filling, and the sauce was rich and well-seasoned, and the portion size was decent too. It is a little pricey, but for the quality you are getting, it is definitely worth it. There are so many menu items I want to try, but I end up going back to the butter chicken because it is just that good. I will definitely push myself to try something new next time I go! read more

We went here for the first time a few nights ago and we were so pleasantly surprised. I had Indian food about 20 years ago and hated it. I've stayed away ever since. My husband talked me into trying this place because he had heard it was great. He was right! The service was amazing, Anjehlee (sp?), was so kind and attentive. ok so haven't been getting out as much as i'd like due to possibly losing my day job...touch and go but we made it to aha for an evening with my better half and my # 2 daughter which is always a good time...so we went Indian! Ambiance: Sitting in a strip mall is never encouraging but honestly i have found over the years some really cool and great places. It was very modern but set up well with many decorations that made the ambiance ok despite the electronica music.... Food: Good portions / main dishes were tasty for sure and rice was on point. Excellent choice if you are looking for a good Indian restaurant. Service was on point.. very friendly and helpful. Good came out fast and fresh. Samosas were a great way to start the meal. Great blend of spices and the dipping sauces added an extra kick. The main course of vindaloo and aloo gobi were also excellent. The flavors were outstanding and the portions were perfect. I LOVE this place! Not just because it's in convenient --in Spring Hill TN... the food is amazing, from what I can tell. But I only had the Chicken Korma so far (AMAZING) The happy hour Rose Margaritas were also sublime and a perfect accompaniment to this gourmet chef quality Indian Cuisine So what is different about the Chicken Korma here from the "other" Indian restaurants in Nashville? We had heard about Aha Indian grill from some friends of ours who love to eat here. Today's dinner did not disappoint!! We ordered the butter chicken, tandoori chicken and garlic naan bread, and boy was it delicious To top it off, we were greeted at the door and served by the sweetest young lady, her name was Anjani!! Such a great mom & pop place. Service is personal. Food is varied & quick. Beer selection is fun. If you want hot, I don't mean American hot but actual Indian Hot they will make it for you. Amazing staff, delicious food! Very welcoming, attentive, felt like a momma and poppa vibe with a high end food service. I'm from California (where we have lots of Indian restaurants on every corner) recently moved to Spring Hill and was craving Indian food. I'm glad and thrilled to have this restaurant around the corner. Came in on a Thursday evening and was immediately seated. My fiancé and I shared the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Hyderabadi Chicken Curry. Both came with rice and were absolutely delicious. We also got the plain naan to accompany our main courses. The Tikka Masala we got "spicy" and the curry was "medium." Both were as full of flavor as I've ever had. The naan is the saving grace here- it's actually seriously good. Having just moved here from San Francisco, I am accustomed to truly authentic delicious Indian food so my standards are high. I've also spend time in India. Again, the naan is fire. The butter chicken literally tasted like butternut squash soup. It was way too sweet and definitely not what I'm used to. Butter chicken is a pretty standard Indian dish so idk how that could go so wrong. We also ordered the samosa chaat and it came with the strangest crunchy croutons on top. Overall it just felt like the "southern American version" of Indian food and not actually authentic Indian. Service is decent. Vibe is fine. read more

The first time I went to this place it was pretty good. The old Indian chef walked around spoke to customers and the place seem to be running pretty smoothly. The second time, the place seemed to be under new ownership or new management, with a Caucasian woman appearing to be the manager. There were only about four tables with customers, but it still took a while before someone took my order and then got it wrong. They did fix the problem, however The quality of the food has declined since my first visit. Unless this improves, I don't think they are longed for this world. read more

Upon entering we were greeted kindly and with smiles. The host was very nice as we explained we would sit at the bar. Shelby, the bartender greeted us and asked about our drink order. She was always present but not overbearing throughout the night. We ordered a chick pea dish (served cold) and chicken 555. The chick peas were delicious with a slight hint of spice. The Chicken 555 was very hot because we ordered it spicy. We love spicy food so it was perfect. I really don't like when I order food spicy and it has very little spice because so any people order spicy food and then can't handle the heat. Shelby gave us 4 levels of spice to choose from mild, medium, spicy , and hot. Stick with mild to start if you're unsure about Indian food's spice level. Indian food by culture can be very spicy. Then I had chicken vindaloo hot and my wife had chicken curry desi medium which comes with jasmine rice. We also ordered garlic naan. All fantastic. We finished with an in-house made chocolate cake slice form the display case in the lobby. Shelby was very attentive and made our much needed date night a real pleasure. Between the excellent food and the amazing service from Shelby, will definitely be back. read more

We try to eat Indian food when we travel to various cities and have to say this is one of the best places we've eaten in a while. From the samosas to the garlic, non-, lamb, vindaloo and chicken tea masala everything had unique flavors and the rice was perfectly cooked. Vibe: Yeah, it's in a strip center (lol), but don't judge a book by its cover. Inside, it's surprisingly nice -- clean, comfortable, and way more inviting than you'd expect from the outside. It had that calm mid-afternoon vibe, perfect for grabbing a quiet meal. Service: Everyone was super friendly and easygoing. My server made great recommendations, checked in just enough, and had a really nice energy about them. You can tell they care about the experience. Food & Drink: I went with the Palak Paneer -- paneer cooked in creamy spinach with spices -- and it was awesome. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and it came loaded with paneer. I ended up getting extra rice just to scoop up every bit of that sauce. Totally hit the spot. Overall: Great food, great service, and a super chill spot to unwind. Everything we had was good with just the right amount of heat (level 2) and tons of flavor. Place is clean and service is good and friendly. Definitely the best Indian place we have tried so far in the Boro. Good portions for the price and leaves you full for awhile. Will definitely be coming back here to try more items.

Attached to the Cool Springs Indian grocery store India Bazaar, Chai Samosa offers a really wide menu ranging from Indian brunch items (dosa, vada, idli, sambar), traditional Indian entrees (butter chicken and the like), Indian thali's (entree option where you get many small curries and items), Indo/Chinese items (like haaaka noodles), Indian snack food (pakoras and samosas galore), and a wide range of desserts. I have tried most of the categories on their menu (except dessert) and my consistent favorites here are the mostly fried snack items: spinach and onion pakora, corn samosa, pav bhaji, even mirchi pakoda when I'm in the mood for something very spicy. All are some of the best of their kind in the area. My dad really loves their brunch items (particularly the idli sambar) because it's a very reasonable price point, but personally don't think their execution is really on par with what I expect of a perfect, undeniably soft, steamed idli. We have gotten entrees once or twice but again, nothing really to write home about here. They have some good specials on entrees later in the evening, but I wouldn't go out of my way for these entrees compared to other restaurants in the area. That said, they absolutely win on convenience. I come to this grocery store at least twice a month to get vegetables, Indian items, and fresh chapati and having a great eatery attached to grab a bite and an excellent (highly caffeinated) chai after a morning grocery shopping is always a win in my book! Several minutes after being allegedly ready, the food came out, and they still messed up the order. Charged me for samosas they never included in the order. 1/10 would not recommend.
