We try to eat Indian food when we travel to various cities and have to say this is one of the best places we've eaten in a while. From the samosas to the garlic, non-, lamb, vindaloo and chicken tea masala everything had unique flavors and the rice was perfectly cooked. Will definitely put this on the list when we come back to the Spring Hill area. read more

Tucked away at the end of a strip mall resides a restaurant that is an absolute gem in Spring Hill! At the recommendation of a friend, my family went to Aha for lunch. When we arrived, it was quiet, except for the Indian music that had a slight hint of EDM or pop music...it was catchy. But quickly, people started filtering in and picking up to-go orders. We started with butter naan and garlic naan, which was flavorful, warm, and a good balance of chewy and charred. For lunch I had the paneer 555 (usually, paneer 65 is my go-to dish). My wife ordered the goat dum biryani, and my daughters ordered samosas and a dosa. Oh! I don't know if you can do this for every dish, but I was able to sub the chicken for paneer on my dish. Also, they have 4 levels of spice -- from mild to extra spicy. First, the dosa is about 24" long, definitely enough for a take home box! The paneer 555 hits you with a bit of sweetness up front and the spicy lingers (I had medium, but could have definitely upped it to spicy or extra spicy). The goat dum biryani and the samosas were packed with flavor! And when I say packed, I mean there was a healthy amount of flavor -- bland would be the furthers word in the dictionary from this food. If you like flavor, you're going to love this place! So yeah, go get you some. You won't regret it! So glad we have a great Indian restaurant in Spring Hill!!! read more

Let me cut to the chase...if you're craving Indian and live close you need this place in your life! It's really good and not just good in a "Spring Hill chain restaurant wasteland/nothing new or original" kinda way. The food was amazing. Like all food, a dish is an expression of the individual, their ancestry and where they are from. To start, we had the veggie samosas and they were great. Big and pillow, full of potatoes, peas and other good veggies. We then moved on the the Chicken Tikka Biryani and let's just pause to reflect on this glorious moment.... Rice was amazing and massive amount of chicken Tikka was heavenly. Then came the rest...Chicken Vindaloo, Aloo Gobi, Dall Tadka and some Chile Gralic Naan. I'll say I needed to better specify that the Vindaloo needs to be hotter, but my white face probably contributed to this. As it does in most spicy ethic restuarants. I had Lamb Vindaloo at a wedding in Bombay and I swear I almost died and went to heaven. They weren't cooking for me, thankfully. But I digress... Anyway make sure you tell them your spice level and if can take it!! The portions are huge. We did order a lot of food, since this was our taste test. But wow! We now have dinner for a next few days. Which I'm fine with. Service was amazing, as well and the place was fairly busy. It would good to see it busier. It's new so the place will probably become more like an Indian restaurant and less like the old place. But esthetics are easy! I guess the bar is opening soon. There were at least 4 tables of Indians eating there, so that is a good sign to me, too. Go visit or get something to go, but just go. read more

Pleasant and attentive wait staff, tasty food. The mango Lassi was good, albeit a little small. Veg pakora not my favorite; left in the fryer a bit too long. I'm also used to this being served in little patties, and this was mostly a platter of individual tiny fried pieces, making it difficult to eat. A tasty, spicy, herby green sauce served with it. Garlic Naan tasty and quite a large serving. Malai kofta biryani was a hit, very tasty and again, generous portion. Medium spice level was right for me, and the dish was cooked and flavored well. Everything there did smell amazing! Wait staff kind and attentive, but the atmosphere is worn and tired, with uncomfortable booth and front doors whose glass doesn't appear to have been cleaned in months. (First impression of a restaurant is the entrance!) Overall would return as the food is good, but unless they do some much needed cleaning and brightening up of the interior, I'll probably stick to-go orders in the future. read more

I visited this restaurant on 6th Sep 2023 (Wednesday), and ordered Chicken 555, Butter Chicken and Butter Naan. Chicken 555, Butter Chicken served Just in few seconds and Butter Naan took whole lot of time (Since need to make this in the Kitchen). Per my knowledge, Chicken 555, Butter Chicken is made of Rotisserie or processed chicken before and just applied the creamers when I ordered, so it was super fast. When I called the Chef and complained about this, he also mentioned that it is processed Chicken. As an Indian I expect the fresh chicken cut into cubes in the curry. If it is made of Rotisserie chicken, why do I need to go to the restaurant and pay $48 for this order, Instead I can go to any American restaurant and Mexican restaurant and end up with $20 or $25.. Not sure what's happened the last few months with this place but something has definitely changed. I'd come in frequently when they first opened and food was great! The Indian guy I'm the front who was there strictly to make the dosas was very nice and I've noticed the last couple visits he is no longer there. Couple months ago I ordered chicken korma and it came out a weird color, taste was ok but definitely not korma. I thought whatever. Today I ordered butter chicken and it came out looking just like the korma lol. Look at the pic!!! Have you ever seen yellow butter chicken? It's supposed to be tomato based!! Either way we most likely won't be returning for various reasons, not just because of the butter chicken but I ordered the Chole bhature and was bland. Also the girl up front with the wild hair should not be working up there. She doesn't know the menu items properly and I've had to school her a couple times. Supposed to be same owners as bawarchi in Franklin , but no way they could be on the same owners. I've been there and food is on a different level, Franklin location is so much better read more

This place is amazing! As a lover of Indian food for 30 years, I give this place two thumbs up! The ambiance is casual and they have a lot of room for larger parties and they even have a full bar! The staff is accommodating, they know the menu well and can explain it to those who aren't familiar with Indian cuisine. I always order medium spicy. It's not too hot, yet it accentuates the flavors. Indian spice hits different than Mexican spice. You'll feel it on the top of your head, instead of your tongue and palate being on fire. It's great for clearing your sinuses! I often get the Chicken Tikka Masala but you really can't go wrong with any of the dishes. The Garlic Naan or Butter Naan is a great appetizer and I enjoy dipping it in the curry sauces. It's great to have our very own Indian restaurant here, in Spring Hill and not have to drive all the way to Cool Springs! I highly recommend and look forward to introducing more of my friends to this amazingly delicious cuisine. read more

Wow! We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Spring Hill! I've been three times since they've opened and each time everything has been fantastic. I've tried the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka (standard and Biryani), Lamb Tikka, Chana Samosa, Lamb Korma, Dal, and a shrimp dish at varying heat levels and they are all fantastic.
