The shop itself is really cute, and the people working there are always kind and welcoming -- I love that Limon has a local spot like this! That said, the coffee just isn't quite my taste. I tend to prefer a stronger, bolder brew, so their blends feel a little lighter than what I usually go for. Still, it's a cozy place to sit for a bit or meet a friend, and I appreciate having a local option in town!

What a precious little gem of a coffee place. Driving from Kansas City to Denver and I was just praying for a good cup of coffee so glad it's here. I got a cold brew with vanilla and a cinnamon roll, which is divine and 10 times better than a Cinnabon. Interior was clean. Area is quiet and peaceful. Barista was so sweet

Misleading name. Surprised there are no vegan food or bakery options, when the name is Ahimsa, which is a concept from Jainism, where the followers practice strict vegetarianism. "Ahimsa" translates to "nonviolence", and it encompasses any violence, including that done towards animals. Ahimsa is about minimizing harm to all living beings. Staff was friendly. They did have nondairy milk alternatives, and the coffee was good. Pet friendly. Looks like a cute independently owned cafe. But yes, off name choice. Ahimsa isn't just a yoga term/ asthetic.

I come here whenever in town and they are always so friendly, I hate to give a bad review but when I came in today I asked for breakfast burrito and I was told they were out of that and sandwich, I ordered bagel and a danish instead, the problem comes in when other people come in first 2 gentlemen and they order burritos and they make them for them then 2 large groups behind me and they get burritos. Now regardless of how nice you are and how good the coffee is no one likes to be lied too especially when they don't even try to hide the lie......

If you're headed to or from Limon, stop by Ahimsa Coffee for a wide selection of coffee beverages and friendly service. "Ahimsa" mean "peace and non-violence" so this lovely shop is a peaceful place (it's even dog friendly!) with comfy seating areas, books and games. There are several tables as well. The breakfast burritos are delicious, and there are several varieties of muffins (from Costco) also on sale. Cordial staff, plenty of parking, large restroom, what's not to love?

Stopped in for coffee on our way to Colorado Springs and I'm so glad we did! The place is spacious and bright, with nice bathrooms and a very friendly staff. One of the employees is a fellow Ohioan so that was fun! They have a wide variety of drinks, with specials and many create-your-own options. My husband got a mocha with peanut butter and coconut and it was sweet and tasty. I got an oat milk cappuccino with sugar free white chocolate and it was perfect. They have a really nice patio area out back for extra seating as well, and cute merch. Thank you, Ahimsa! :)

Great coffee shop in an area that has very few options besides Denney's and gas station. Nice folks, good atmosphere. Plenty of table seats and a couch , clean bathrooms. Didn't see any outside seating but it's a pretty new place in a newly developed area. Maybe they'll add that later. Coconut, Almond and soy available for alt milk options. Some smoothie and sandwich options. Some retail and skin care available. Coffee was good, also had an earl grey tea latte. Overall, I recommend this for a stop and a moment of rest. read more

An oasis has been found for a great cup of coffee! My husband and I are picky about our coffee and we could not have been happier to find Ashima's open on a Sunday morning. I got the Almond Joy latte with an extra shot, it was fantastic! My husband got a light roast and my kids thoroughly enjoyed their hot chocolates. This is my 2nd time visiting this place after a trip to Colorado Springs. Delicious coffee with a lot of fun flavors that you don't see everywhere. Today I tried the Strawberry Cupcake latte and a sausage burrito. Both were delicious. The burrito was packed with flavor and well seasoned potatoes. The staff is super friendly which is what makes them a strong 5 stars for me!! read more

We took a ride on the motorcycle from Littleton out to Limon and found Ahimsa on yelp. We used this as our destination. It turns out that they make great coffee. Very clean well maintained business, nice outside patio area. We were very happy with this find and will be back on our next ride through Limon! Highly recommend them! read more

Absolutely wonderful breakfast stop! Breakfast burritos are amazing & delicious cherry danish as well - everything in the danish case (muffins, croissants and more) were homemade and looked so good it was hard to pick! Organic tea & coffee were both excellent- coffee is crafted from their own beans, which they sell, along with cute sweatshirts and other coffee related stuff). We were helped by the kindest people & enjoyed playing checkers at one of their high top tables while our food was prepared. Great way to start the day - we'll be back for sure!! read more

Avoid this place. No lids for hot coffee, and no sugar .. and they don't tell you until after you've paid and they're handing the cup over to you. Breakfast burrito was gross and still cold in the middle. The woman behind the counter was grumpy and not using gloves to handle pastries and her phone at the same time. There was a nice kid helping out making our order but he looked like he was 10 years old. read more

We stopped in here a few minutes till closing to get some coffee on a long road trip. The staff came and unlock the door made us whatever we wanted, we used the facilities, and were overall very warm, welcoming and friendly. We also got to hang out with the shop dog which was a nice, friendly break from a long car ride. Will definitely stop in here again if our travels took us this way. read more

It's coffee, it's independent, and it's your only good option for about 500 miles on I-70. There is apparently also a coffee shop in Burlington, but between Burlington, CO and Colby, KS there is truly no coffee to be seen. Looking at the locations of the people who gave bad reviews it appears they're probably comparing to the cute coffee shops in their town. Sure, there are cuter coffee shops in the world, but in this context (a coffee desert that is 70) this place is an oasis with great coffee. I especially appreciated that they had non-dairy options, which was even more scant along 70. Three different milk options, and everything was very customizable. There was only one guy working, who was very friendly and going about making drinks and taking orders quickly and efficiently. Lastly, there was also a women's health center in a small room to the side that looked like a spot for women to come get advice and resources. Love to see access like that! read more

Sooo expensive. The 2 times I went it was awful. First time my iced coffee had nearly no ice. It was just a watery mess. The 2nd time my flavored coffee had a disgusting flavor and was mostly just coffee. Go to McDonalds. Cheaper, larger, better. Also, I do not think its appropriate for companies that work with the public to hire registered sex offenders. read more

I'm so glad we stopped here! The coffee was amazing, but best of all they allow dogs inside! We were able to bring our two puppies inside with us and sit and relax while I fed our 2 month old. The women working was SO sweet and the place was spotless and super cute! The bathrooms were extra clean and decorated so sweetly. I wish we had something like this near us! THANK YOU!! read more

This is not 5 star coffee, this is not a 5 star coffeehouse. It's half boutique and half weird coffeehouse. They don't have pourovers, the cappuccino was so so. The environment they've setup didn't make me want to linger. They need to tear out those old bank walls and change the setup. read more

Three C's. Cute and comfy and clean. Oh I forgot calm. :) Almond, coconut and oat milk for dairy free options. The hot chocolate mix has sugar and no corn syrup for those with corn allergies. Desserts looked delicious but we just stopped for caffeine as we were falling asleep on way to Denver. Coconut mocha very good. Almond milk hot chocolate was good but next time I'll ask for a bit more chocolate when we pass through this area again. If you are a chocoholic, ask for more chocolate. There are a few friendly dogs wandering the inside so go through drive thru if you are afraid of dogs. read more

Pamela and her staff are welcoming. Ahimsa Coffee was just what I was looking for after a long stretch on the road. Excellent coffee and a delicious breakfast burrito. My grandparents lived in Colorado Springs growing up so a final stop in Limon on the way into the Springs or on the way out has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and the rest stops have had their highs and lows over the years. As a child we always stopped at the Colorado Gifts rest stop, which was chock full of trinkets and was super fun as a child. As I got older though, they never gave the place a facelift and it became a pretty sad sight. Nowadays I usually pick the one that looks the best from the outside and having had good luck at TAs across the country we decided on this one for our pitstop on the way home to KC over the summer. I have to say, in terms of other Travelcenters of America locations this one is a little average, if not a little below average in terms of cleanliness and overall modern appearance. It was fine, and fit the bill for what we needed, but it could use a bit of a facelift to meet the standards of similar locations I've visited across the USA.

The kind of place where you just know you're going to get a solid meal. We weren't looking for anything heavy--just something good--and the $9.99 burger special caught our attention right away. Enter Sherry--our server--and she absolutely made the experience. Friendly, engaging, and confident in her recommendations (always a good sign). She pointed me straight to the Texas BBQ Burger, and that was the move. Smoky, slightly sweet BBQ sauce (house-made and legit) Crispy onion rings stacked right on top Juicy burger cooked just right That first bite told me everything I needed to know--this place knows what it's doing. I paired it with coleslaw, which was surprisingly solid--fresh, not overdressed, and a nice balance to the richness of the burger. We passed on appetizers and dessert this time, but based on the menu (and Sherry's confidence), there's definitely more here worth exploring. Bottom line: If you're rolling through Limon--especially on a holiday when options are slim--Oscar's is a no-brainer. Great service, good food, fair prices, and a welcoming local vibe. This is exactly what a road trip stop should be.

Save your money and buy a McDonald's coffee before you waste any money at this place. No one here knows the first thing about making coffee and it always tastes like hot sweet water or milk. I've never bought something from this place that actually tastes like coffee. Staff and owners are stingy and you can taste it in their products. You'd have better service and would be treated better as an inmate at the county jail. I could go on and on and on about this place. Traveling from San Diego to Kentucky and was feeling tired. Looked up coffee near me and this place came up. So good! I got a caramel macchiato and my mom got a non fat latte and the coffee is tasty but smooth! Service was so nice and I'd recommend this place to anyone. Stopped by on may way from Hays, KS to Denver and I'm sure glad I did! Friendly workers (owners I believe) and she recommended the Heath Bar coffee which I got iced and was DELICIOUS!
