I cannot say enough good things about Parry Physical Therapy. I hurt my knee earlier this year and…read morebecause I apparently enjoy suffering decided to move into a townhome with stairs. Going up and down them felt like climbing Everest with a fork stuck in my knee. Enter: Maddie, the world's greatest physical therapist. I'm convinced she might actually be a magician. She took one look at me and my feeble attempt at walking, gave me that "we're gonna fix this" confidence, and suddenly I'm doing more squats and lunges than I knew the human body could legally perform in one hour. And somehow she made it fun. And shoutout to Dylan and Jesse, the MVP assistants they're hilarious, so encouraging, and make squats and lunges feel like a social event instead of punishment. Fast-forward: I can run again. I finished a whole month-long running challenge at my gym in August. This from the same person who was treating a dog walk like an extreme sport back in March. The entire staff at Parry PT is exceptional, upbeat, and genuinely cares. There's this sense of community in the clinic. If you need physical therapy, go to Parry. Seriously, don't limp around in misery like I did. You will not regret it!

I am so glad to find PT Christine through Luna. She is professional, knowledgeable, practical and…read morecaring. She also taught me to work with my home setting. It's very helpful and easy to remember. That's something I never got in a traditional PT's office. Getting therapy at home is a wonderful experience. No need to drive a long way. No need to sit at a waiting room before the appointment. Flexible scheduling so less stress. I feel relaxed at my own home and enjoy the privacy setting. I don't have to worry who is watching me when I bend down in pain or be embarrassed to discuss my health issue in a shared gym environment. Setting up an appointment was easy. I was in pain and soon after I called Luna, Christine came to help in a week while other PT clinics told me to wait for at least two months. Instead of bringing home description of exercises on paper, there are videos on my cell thru the app so it is easier to follow. I had concern having a stranger coming to my house, but I told Luna my specific requirements and it turned out great. I think it's hard for me to go back to a regular PT clinic after trying Luna PT.

These people are so dishonest, and they purposely…read morehide the fact that they WILL charge you more if you have insurance even if your insurance won't cover it, even though they have an option to pay less if your deductible is high, but they don't tell you that outright. I spoke to an agent in the phone who snarkily said "Well we didn't HIDE it from you. If you had asked about it we would have told you." To which I responded "How can I ask about something I don't know about?!" Then she realized I wasn't going to be pushed around, hopefully realized it was an idiotic thing to say, and said she'd forward me to her supervisor. They also have an INCREDIBLY confusing billing page, which has still not been explained well to me. And it's taken well over a year to even tell me how much it was going to cost, after I had had A YEAR OF APPOINTMENTS ! They even say on their website that they won't book you until you know how much it will cost, which also isn't true. So now I have to deal with all this headache and it is ridiculous how much they scam you. The only reason I went with Luna was because my original physical therapist, who is amazing, was working with them. We'll never again. Save yourself the trouble. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I was referred by another physician, who shared my insurance information with the office. Although…read morethe staff were friendly, they never provided me with an estimate for the appointment. I was shocked to receive a $600 bill, with $400 of the bill being for a 30-minute visit with the provider. The other $200 was because they gave me a rubber band tied to a hand towel and briefly showed me exercises to do with it. All other offices I've worked with have informed me beforehand if a substantial amount of their appointment would not be covered by insurance. Please be advised to obtain an estimate before your appointment, as they will not inform you if you're not covered, even in my case, where they are in-network with my insurance.

Anne is absolutely amazing! She is kind, wonderful, and so very knowledgeable. She really does strive to help her patients if they are recovering from an injury, or have had some sort of physical change etc. All of the assistant therapists are just as spectacular, and it's obvious that they love their jobs, and love helping their patients. The front office staff goes out of their way to help patients find appointment times that work with their respective schedules, and to make sure that patients are notified of impending appointments to keep everyone on track. This office truly has been a godsend. Great staff! Great experience!

HOW I FOUND CALEB: I originally went to a chain PT facility…read moreand was displeased. The communication was poor; I never knew who I'd be working with. I would be passed around to 3+ people during a visit, never knowing who the people were, what their positions were or what we were working on or toward. At one point, the kid who checked me in up front was asked by a PT to have me do a set of exercises. Ten mins later the PT came back in yelling at the kid for having me do them incorrectly. I suffered a tremendous amount of pain the following week. After 3 frustrating visits I called it quits and started looking for a REAL PT. I found Caleb. MEDICAL ISSUES: At the time, I was still in the process of working with specialists to figure out the issue. I had completed a triathlon shortly before the pain began.I eventually found out that I had 2 lower disc bulges (one touching a nerve), a torn hip labrum, a fluid filled sac in my greater trochanter area and osteoarthritis in my hip and knee. I was experiencing pain from my lower right back down to my toes and having nerve pain that made sleeping impossible and life in general feel pretty unbearable. HOW CALEB HELPED ME PHYSICALLY: Care was always one on one. Before we really knew where the pain was coming from, he would ask a lot of questions and we would work on those particular areas and surrounding areas that he suspected might be causing or contributing to the pain. At that time, my symptoms were changing pretty frequently and Caleb was great at being able to adapt quickly. I can recall many times where one exercise technique was either too difficult to grasp or too painful to do and he was very knowledgeable and was able to offer alternate exercises that worked best for me. He paid strict attention to my form while performing exercises and corrected me when necessary. Caleb is very versatile, so whether you're at the point where all you can manage to do is perform stretching and strength exercises on or near the table or if you're looking to build on the strength you already have via weight training, he's got you covered. HOW CALEB HELPED ME MENTALLY: When I first came to see Caleb I was pretty depressed. I had been active my whole life (running long distance the majority of it) and doctors were now telling me I wouldn't be able to do the things I loved anymore. To add to that, I was in a ton of pain, which for anyone experiencing persistent pain, you know how tough it can be to cope with mentally. From my very first appt, Caleb was always so uplifting and had confidence that we could prove the doctors wrong. To sum it up, he made me feel like my world hadn't ended and I'm telling you guys...him being able to change my outlook on the situation meant everything to me because my biggest challenge was in my head. I cannot thank him enough for that! HIS BEDSIDE MANNER: In short, he's awesome!!! He loves his job and it really shows. He is extremely knowledgeable (you'd be hard pressed to catch him off his game). He is professional yet approachable. I always felt comfortable with him. Unfortunately, due to insurance reasons, I have a new PT for the surgery I just had (it took me a long time to write this review), but would give anything to go back to Caleb. Right now with my current PT, I have days where I think, "I'm in a lot of pain; I don't feel like going to PT today." I never felt that way under Caleb's care. In fact, it was quite the opposite. I would think, "Gosh, I'm in so much pain, I can't wait to go see Caleb!" How you feel with your PT makes all the difference in the success you ultimately experience. END RESULT: More than a year later, more issues were identified through medical imaging (issues that could not heal themselves) and my pain (although more manageable) was still there. I made the decision to have surgery. Looking back, I wish I would have worked more with a PT on some of the newer issues that were discovered to see if surgery could have been avoided or at least prolonged. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I still talk to Caleb. He is so passionate about his profession that he can't help himself by helping others, even after your time is up with him. I truly valued his care. He is smart, professional, kind, funny, easy to shoot the breeze with, and is well worth a try. I hope that I can work with him again!
