I've always wanted to stop by here to try their poke & I've finally got the chance to! This place is definitely worth the drive for! They do NOT skimp on their portions. The owners are super sweet and kind. I also got miso soup with my order! Super delicious. If only I didn't live so far, this would be my regular spot for poke.

Delicious lunch here! The interior was modern and clean, loved the plants everywhere. The service was fast, the fish was fresh and there were a lot of options for sauce. I chose wasabi citrus and a garlic sauce. Both were very flavorful and contrasted each other well. Lots of toppings to add and everything was very fresh. The regular bowl was a very decent sized portion too!

I came by to pick up lunch for myself. I ordered half rice, half salad, regular size. With salmon and tuna. Half the sauce (washing citrus and eel). I like to taste more of the ingredients and the sauces can be overwhelming. You can have as much toppings as you'll like. The staff were super nice and quick. The avocado and masago eggs were a dollar extra each and she explained that before putting in my bowl with my confirmation. As you can tell with the photo, they really filled it up to the brim. You can easily make a regular bowl into two meals. The quality of the food fits the pricing. The salmon and tuna were super soft and fleshy. The only changes I would do is to chop the lettuce up more and dice the avocado before putting it in the bowl (to the owner, I think it's fine to leave half avocado in the tub but dice it after confirming with the customer that they want it to avoid any fruit waste). It'll be easier to eat with the other ingredients in the bowl. Sometimes I'll flick myself with some other food bits when trying to get the lettuce under the toppings. I did pick up only but the place looked clean and I love the fact they had some live plants near the front. They looked well kept and healthy so that tells me they take meticulous care of their restaurant in the front. Parking is free and out front. The roads in the plaza is kind of a round maze so make sure to pay attention to stop signs.

Pretty fresh; you're going to be spending about $15-20 a person here. Bona tea and obviously poke. Cooked and uncooked options. My own recommendation is to choose 1 sauce (not 2) and ask for a light coat; depending on who you get the sauce dump can get a little heavy for my taste if you're keeping it light only for taste vs texture Friendly staff and the internet is fast; quiet enough to work here if you need to. Ambient had fresh plants so the air cleans itself better. Only down side is the unisex bathroom. Not much else to say, solid and professional place to be eating at.

This is the best poke spot in Richmond! I've been here three different times, and the food is always good. Normally, I've ordered a regular size poke bowl, which is two scoops of a base, two scoops of protein, and other toppings and sauces. The yellowtail is well worth the extra dollar, and I really like the spicy salmon I've had as well. The wasabi citrus sauce is always a good option for anyone who can handle the extra kick, but the house sauce is another go-to for me. I think the staff is always nice when I visit, and it's usually clean inside the restaurant. I hope more people know how great this place is, especially when there aren't a lot of other options for poke on this side of town.

We came today for the first time. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed and the place was clean. There was a lot of options for proteins and toppings, including a Unagi bowl and BBQ pork bowl special. The kids had the bbq pork bowl and liked it. My husband and I had bowls with raw fish. All of it was fresh, and we are happy we tried this place. The wasabi citrus sauce, with spicy mayo and house spicy sauce all together was very good. Don't forget the dried ingredients, like the dried seaweed, dried onions and furikake. The service was friendly, patient and attentive. We will definitely be back again! read more

Wow!! This our first poke experience and it's fantastic. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The service is helpful and friendly. My wife tried a spicy tuna, brown rice, and soy combo. I ordered a bowl with tuna, salmon, brown rice, and wasabi citrus sauce. Both were excellent. Bottom line: We'll be back soon. read more

If you haven't had poke before, you owe it to yourself to eat here. Everything is very flavorful and fresh. Good protein options. Good portion sizes. Great value. I'm very glad she opened up in this area, there isnt a poke place nearby. It's a little bit hidden but if you're in front of Wal Mart it's in a smaller strip center in the same(ish) parking lot. read more

Awesome place! Atmosphere was very soft and welcoming, and the food is awesome. The variety in ingredients to add to your bowl allows for a lot of freedom in tastes, and the staff were also very friendly. This is always my go to poke place. I've been going here since they've opened. I did a DoorDash pickup from them since the coronavirus has limited restaurants to takeout only and may I say I am so impressed. They are taking lots of precautionary measures for the safety of the staff AND the customers. I was quite impressed by this and will continue to support their business. read more

I love how this is close by and the restaurant is very clean. They are also now serving Poke bowls with eel as an option and I love eel. Anyways, I like their portion sizes and the pricing is cheaper than some of the other poke places I have been to. I also like their free miso soup. The free soup gives a nice touch to accompany the poke bowl. read more

This is probably the worse customer service ever. Today i went and asked if they have any signature bowl and what is the best from their menu and she said "what do you mean the best?" And made some stanky face. I just asked nicely and she kept on making faces. I do not know if she's having a bad day or something so i still tipped her because i feel bad. First time going in and i loved it! I got my food to-go and was so surprised how fresh the meat is and practically everything i put into my poke. This little place is just perfect if you are craving some fresh fish and a make your own flavors kind of meal! First let's start with the atmosphere: the restaurant is cute, minimal, and quaint with simple chairs, dark floors, and cleans lines. Best of all, it is clean. So clean it smells fresh and you see each employee wash their hands before serving each customer! Plus the bathroom is clean too. Now let's talk about service: I was served by a sweet older lady who was helpful and patient with my questions (it was my first time) and was very sweet to my kids. She had a warm smile and great service. I also saw a young man serve several customers while we ate and he too was kind and patient with everyone and very informative when people had questions. He offered me a to go bowl and bag. Everything was prompt. Now the food: I personally love sushi and raw fish and am very particular about fresh fish. I had the spicy tuna and salmon (they were out of the yellowtail and she offered me white tuna instead, but I passed this time and went with salmon). Both were fresh and tasted great! The spicy tuna had a great kick to it, not for the timid, and they both had great texture. I personally would not go for the shrimp (not a fan of the cooked and cooled cocktail type shrimp), but it was a good cooked option for the kids and they loved it. Especially because she tossed it in the house sauce which is sweet & a little tangy. The mango and pineapple on my kids bowl was fresh, and they really enjoyed all their toppings (crab, mango, pineapple, edamame, fried onions, cucumber, seaweed, tomato avocado). I enjoyed a very similar selection of toppings and loved the balance the sweet mango gave my spicy tuna. I got the half and half base (half rice and half salad) which was great to stay on the lighter side but also have a little filling from the rice. We will definitely be back! :) read more

Ahi Poke on 1960 and 290 is by far a 10/10 and should have stayed with my usual but wanted to venture out new place. Not ever again!! Avocado is black yuck!! Had to throw it away. Either way looks like someone bought the 5/5 ratings because they're not even close.

There were a few people there and a group ahead of me, but the wait wasn't long at all. I also really liked the atmosphere. The setup is cute and they had nice café music playing, so it seems like a good spot to hang out for a bit or work. Those are honestly the only reasons this ended up being 3 stars. I really wanted to like this place more than I did. Unfortunately, both my food and drink were disappointing. I got a poke bowl and even adding soy sauce wasn't helping much. It felt kind of thrown together, the salmon didn't taste marinated, and there weren't really any sauces or flavor to tie it together. I also got a mango smoothie mainly for my kiddo, but it tasted super chalky and artificial. Even he didn't like it and after a few sips we ended up throwing it away. Normally I would've gotten a coffee or milk tea, but I skipped caffeine that day. Maybe their coffee or milk teas are better and maybe other food items are too. I'd still be willing to give this place another try if I'm in the area because I did like everything else about the place. But I personally wouldn't recommend the poke bowl or fruit smoothies.

I recently ordered a large poke bowl from Aina Poke and it exceeded my expectations! The combination of fresh salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon with white rice was delicious. The regular sauce and house sauce added just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the taste of the raw fish. The addition of crabmeat, sweet corn, edamame, cucumber, seaweed salad, ginger, cilantro, green onions, sesame seeds, nori strips, and furikake made the dish more diverse and exciting. The ingredients were all fresh and the portion size was generous. I appreciate the attention to detail and care that went into preparing this dish. I love this place!!! I continue to come here time after time because I love how friendly the staff has been to me and how conveniently located it is. It's always fresh and tastes yummy! My only two complaints (which aren't that big) are that portion sizes vary depending on who serves you and second I'm not a big fan of the spicy tuna. I've had my fair share of who has served me and sometimes they will be generous portions and sometimes smaller portions. Overall though a great place! read more

Yo, I'm completely obsessed with this place y'all. I'm be gone through two PUNCH CARDS. Heck YEAH this place has punch cards. I'm starting to think I have a problem. I get poke to-go at least 3 times a week. And there's enough options if you get bored of your normal configuration you can switch it up a little if you wanna get crazy. They have some of the best seaweed salad in my opinion. read more
