We recently hired Air Comfort Experts to replace our 22-year old residential HVAC system. The owner, Bulga, did a very good job educating me as to the benefits of replacing my two gas furnaces and not just my air conditioner condensers based on exceptional promotional and government rebates. I was reluctant to consider replacing my furnaces, which were not the problem with my system, but with pricing the way it is right now, it made a lot of sense to upgrade both the AC and the heat. He was very polite in correcting my misconceptions. Air Comfort Experts was able to remove two furaces and two condensers, and install new Daikin condensers, coils and heat. pumps for not much more than the AC system alone, and in only four days of work. I had a very positive experience with Bulga and the staff of Air Comfort Experts. Their bid was not the least expensive for adding mini splits for my house, but it was for thousands less than the Home Depot's contracted company -- which was the only other bid to also offer ten year warranties on parts and labor. Additionally, Air Comfort Experts work with Mitsubishi and Daikin brands, so I liked having that choice as well. So, I went with Air Comfort Experts because I felt I was getting a quality product installed by a company that was going to stand by their work. At the time of our initial meeting, Bulga was prepared to use his computer, show me rebates, and prepare an estimate for me. He told me what could work, but also let me know what he preferred not to do because it would look ugly (due to the location of my electrical box) -- which I definitely appreciate. My install happened over two days. On the first day, a staff member was bilingual to make sure all of my questions were answered and the expectations clear. The next day, the crew did not speak English -- however, this was not an issue, as they phoned their office for translation whenever necessary (which was hardly at all). All of the staff were very responsible and respectful throughout the process -- wearing shoe coverings, laying down mats, sweeping up after themselves, and even surprising me by taking the time to place decorative rocks around my exterior unit (I don't know where they came from, but I am touched by the gesture). Lastly, after the job was done, Helen (an office manager) helped me feel confident about my federal rebate by providing additional coverage information about my unit. By far the best price I found in the area. When Bulga came for the quote, he did not try to oversell - he was honest about what did and did not need to be replaced. I got a quote from another company and it was approximately 3 times the amount quoted by Air Comfort Experts. I had a personal friend who works on HVAC in another county look at the quotes and at photos of the unit. He said that the quote from Air Comfort Experts was a great price for the work that needed to be done, he didn't even think he could beat it if he was in the area and could do the work for a discount for me. Shout out to Bulga and his team for a very thorough, honest and reliable service. Bulga came to visit our home and gave me a very detailed plan and quote. Among the ac companies that I talked to, Bulga was the one I felt that I can trust. He seems to know what he is recommending compared to others who only want to compete with prices. I apparently just wanted to add 2 mini splits in our bedroom and sunroom, but went ahead and added another split to our family room, which were all located in the basement. We then replaced our central ac in main level of our house. To be honest, the house was a lot of work, but Bulga and his team were able to work it out and added vents to help the circulation of our house. They had mentioned to me how happy they had been with the system they installed and how reasonable their prices were. I was surprised to see that they didn't have any reviews on yelp, and decided I'd be more than happy to leave them five stars because that's what they deserve. We finally decided to install a Heating/Cooling system and new duct work in our house. We only had a heating system and the duct work was the old type (asbestos).
