Today was my first time trying this salon. Because of the raving reviews I wanted to try. My hair was long and came for a trim, I have thin hair and gone to many hair salons and always satisfied. And wanted to treat myself by coming here. Honestly, i didn't like my cut, i wasn't happy at all. My hair look from the 80's, just terrible!! I could tell he didn't know what to do with it. I went in for bangs only. my first time cutting in California and I decided to trust this place, but it didn't turn out to be good. not the hairstyle I wanted and I didn't want to wash my hair again but the stylist insisted that do. I never needed a hair wash for just some bangs. then at the end, shampooing was charged for $35 and the bang itself was $15. as a customer, I was not informed of the price when this was suggested, so it felt like a forced service to get more money from the business. most importantly, not the hairstyle I wanted. it felt like a template he just used for bangs for all customers. the hair salons I went to before, they would've measured the hair around face first. read more

I was going on vacation soon and I didn't have time to get a haircut due to my busy schedule so when I finally had a bit of free time, I looked into some different hair salons around the area as I haven't been super satisfied with my usual hair salon lately. I wanted to find another salon that dealt with Asian hair so Air Moore seemed like a great option to try out. I was able to schedule a pretty last-minute appointment with Jason. My Mandarin is kind of limited, so I ended up explaining what I wanted in English. He did a great job with my hair and gave me some good advice too! On another note, I think that some of the stylists used to work for my usual hair salon years ago; I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I recognized some of their names and profiles on Booksy. I wasn't able to get an appointment with the one guy I thought used to do my hair in time for my trip because it was so last minute. However, if it is true, then I am very happy I found Air Moore and might book my next hair appointment with either him or Jason! read more

Terrible experience! I was recommended to this salon and wanted to do hair straightening with Terry. But he's very popular and fully booked, so the salon recommended Sam to help me out and do the hair straightening for me. Then my nightmare began. After couple days finishing the hair straightening, I realize that portion of my hair are curl and corn-silk like, I originally thought that maybe those portion of my hair was missed during the hair straightening service. So I called the Salon for remedy, they offered to re-do the hair straightening for me. But then after finishing the 2nd hair straightening service, I realize that portion of my hair still looks like corn silk. I google it and realize that portion of my hair got damaged from excessive exposure to heat which damage my hair internally. Sadly my hair is unrecoverable permanently and damage internally. I am extremely upset because my hair was actually damaged on the very first time, but they didn't tell me that my hair had already been damaged, then they helped me to re-do it, which makes it worse.. Wanted to give a higher rating to promote local business but unfortunately bad experience happened. Went originally for hair cut and later decided to add hair coloring as the stylist expressed confidence on the outcome. He then asked his assistant to prepare and color my hair for the whole time. And, unfortunately, the careless act of the staff left coloring cream on my face. I feel something suspicious when she washed my hair cause she had made several attempts to rub the side of my face. Since I had my mask on, I didn't realize the severity till I went home and checked, which is 2+ hours later. I called up the salon and spoke with the stylist. The stylist was apologetic and offer suggestions to rub the affected area with alcohol, otherwise go back to the salon and they would offer special cream to rub. It was a devastating experience because the staff could have bring to my attention and handle right away, right time, on the spot! Needless to say my skin was very sensitive after rubbing. Despite a few days past, I can still see stain from coloring. The staff and process definitely required lot of step up training. I am satisfied with the outcome, however, the price is really high. They raised their perm price by $40 compared to early 2022. Now I have to pay $390 for a shoulder-length hair perm! Their shampoo station is also out of service. The water temperature keeps changing, so I got cold and hot water from time to time! If you charge high prices, you got to provide high-end services.
