I just had a seriously frustrating experience at this store. I placed a preorder totaling $57.17 and handed the employee $57.25--eight cents more than the amount due. She refused to accept it because it was not "exact change." I repeatedly told her to keep the eight cents, but she still would not take the payment and had to ask her manager. She came back and continued explaining that they did not have change, even though I had already made it clear several times that I did not want any change back. First, how does a cash-based business not have change available? Second, why turn away a customer who is offering slightly more than the total and explicitly saying to keep the difference? What should have been a simple pickup turned into an unnecessarily confusing and frustrating situation. read more

THE HeLLLA BESTTTT DISPO !!!! . This is honestly the best dispensary in the Bay Area. I've been coming here for years and their customer service is always top tier. Today (March 8) I got a call letting me know that the product I ordered online wasn't available anymore. Most dispensaries would just wait until you show up and then tell you, so the fact that they actually called ahead was already great customer service FRFR !!! When I got there, the budtender really tried to help me shout out to the bud tender for that my apologies tho I forgot her name . !!! find other options, including cheaper brands and similar products. Luckily they ended up finding the exact one I originally came for. What really stood out to me was that since at first they thought they wouldn't be able to satisfy my order, they gave me a free all-in-one vape on them so I can try it Who does that?? I've never seen another dispensary give a free product just to make sure the customer leaves happy In all the years I've been coming here, I've only had one small issue and they solved it immediately. I've been going here for years and I've had to sign up for accounts a half dozen times now. My orders never stay in the history so I've been unable to see what I ordered before. I did always get good service and products. Yesterday I took advantage of a really good deal (I think it was BOGO for a penny) to order two AIO and four cartridges. It came out to $66. I was stoked. I got a notification that my order was received and that I would be notified when it was ready to be picked up. I didn't hear anything by the end of the day or today so I decided to just go down there. Oh, they don't fill the orders, I was told. You have to just come down there and get your stuff because they don't notify you. Not only that, if you don't come the same day, your order goes away. No way to see what you ordered. Disappointed and I'll admit very frustrated, I got one AIO and two cartridges and it was $66. Half as much product for the same price because they wouldn't honor yesterday's sale today. Even though they never notified me in advance of their arbitrary rules. Might be time to find a new dispensary. read more

I've been to dozens of dispensaries, this was my first visit to Airfield. I traveled 45 minutes to have a consult with their resident medical clinician, Sarah who I heard was amazing. I am older and have a complicated medical background. The typical younger, part-time bud tenders never can relate to my needs, nor take the time to really listen to my needs. Sarah truly listened to me and took all my concerns into consideration to curate a medicinal package that addressed all my issues. Her expertise and knowledge of all their products was very impressive. She clearly explained the "what, why & how" for each product. She genuinely took a concern in my needs and it clearly showed. EVERYTHING she prescribed WORKED!!! This literally was the first time someone at a dispensary ACTUALLY helped me the way I was hoping. I have been self medicating with cannabis for a long time and have never been able to get the relief Sarah was able to give me! Outstanding customer service!! I'm not a pot smoker and had never been to a dispensary before but at 50, sleep has not been good to me and my daughter recommended trying gummies to help. I was super apprehensive but desperate so I gave Airfield a try about a year ago. This place is great. They have security in the parking lot and you check in outside by showing your DL before they allow you inside. I'm always greeted with a warm hello and a smile. The staff here are so knowledgeable which was incredibly helpful because I had no idea what to get. They have a ton of options for everyone and I was impressed to see so many customers in all walks of life feel completely at ease here. Prices tend to be a little high but they have discount days so pay attention to your emails. After trying a few different products, I found one that has worked really well for me. This location is clean, safe and has wonderful staff behind the counter to help you make the right choices for whatever your needs might be. I'll be back again and again. Oh! The constant changes with little to no communication have made the experience really frustrating. It feels disorganized, and as a customer, it's hard to keep up when things are always shifting but no one's updating us. On top of that, hybrid cartridges are rarely in stock, which is disappointing when that's what I primarily use. Overall, the lack of consistency and transparency needs serious improvement. Used to be great with friendly service. Now the way they supply San Jose is weird and most of the budtenders are very rude. This has happened to me before but for whatever reason it happening for the 6th (2nd time with Jovonnie) was the final straw for me. this is what i texted my husband because i don't have the energy to write it again: "i was only person in the priority line for a long time and then 5 minute later 3 guys showed up in the regular line and they skipped me 3x and when i said something they didn't even apologize and were mean :(" Jovonnie made it seem like I was the problem for speaking up for myself not the employees for skipping the only woman in the store. All she had to say was "oh i'm so sorry we didn't see you" or "oh we must of got confused i'm sorry" and i wouldn't have cared. But she went out of her way to be rude and aggressive.
