These guys are exceptional, professional, and very polite. My AC was on for 12 hours yesterday, longer than ever before and blowing room temperature air. The house was up to 82 at 1100 and getting warmer. So, I called and 20 minutes later the technician was at my door. Problem fixed and half hour later, the house is down to 78. My 18 year old air conditioner condensing unit stopped working Friday night of Labor Day weekend. I emailed Airmaxx on Saturday morning at 7:00 AM and got a call immediately. Alex would have someone out between 8-10 that morning. Valdamir called and said he would arrive at 8:30. He was prompt and diagnosed the problem quickly. I needed a new capacitor which controls the compressor. He had the part and replaced it. My coolant was a little low and he topped it off. This is a bit different from other reviews since I ultimately decided to go with another company for my installation. However, it was a very close race and I only went with the competition because of a price advantage (which was not large, but I needed something to break the tie). My experience with Airmaxx during the quoting process was extremely positive. Our house was a challenging retrofit, and most companies offered half-baked, lazy solutions. Only Airmaxx and one other came up with good solutions that actually addressed our wants/needs. They took us seriously and designed a well thought-out system for our unconventional setup. After quotes from dozens of companies, only Airmaxx an one other had anything that actually made sense and showed some effort. We chose Airmaxx's competition in the end, but only because they came in slightly lower on price. It was not an easy decision and I'm confident Airmaxx would have done very well. If you're in the market, I highly recommend at least getting a quote from Airmaxx. Oh, they also are Diamond dealers for Mitsubishi, and offer a 12 year labor warranty on mitsubishi installations. That is waaaaay better than anyone else we spoke to (most offered 1-2 years labor and 12 years parts). read more

We bought an Ecobee smart thermometer this year and when we could get it to respond, we called Airmaxx to take a look at it. Gilbert came out and got it working and spent the time to educate us on our AC unit, how to keep it running for as long as possible and just the general operations of it. He is very knowledgable, professional , patient and friendly. We feel that we have found our go-to air & heating vendor for any future calls. We did need to have Gilbert come back out, once we realized the heat was not coming on. It was a few months later, so we had not had to use the heat after the first visit. I called Airmaxx on a Monday and they sent Gilbert out to see what was going on. Luckily, it was just a programming error and he had it working in 10 minutes. My air conditioning has been working way too hard this summer and completely stopped one hot Sunday evening, much to my children's frustration. I did some research online and sought some recommendations. Later that evening, I created a Project on Yelp to solicit vendors to resolve my cooling issue. Alex was the FIRST company to reply to my project post at like 3am. He set an appointment with me in the morning and promptly got to work. Turns out it was a failed capacitor, which is a very common issue. And while I'm handy enough to have replaced it, Alex was able to take care of it quicker and with parts on hand...specifically parts from a co-worker's nearby van. Hehe.
