Just had Alejandro stop by for what I thought was going to be a diagnosis of the issue. Our AC seemed to be working normal minus the cold air all of a sudden. He had me turn the AC unit on and within a mere few minutes already knew what was up. I am shook by the responsiveness and honesty of this company. I called them for a second opinion and they came out THAT SAME DAY. Our technician, Sam, was so informative, so thorough, showed us the parts of the furnace and described in detail how a furnace works and what signs to look for when thinking about replacing a furnace. We had a company come out the day before and they told us we needed to replace our furnace immediately or else we could get CO poisoning. Sam was extremely honest. I had a two-year contract that included 2 A/C visits and 2 heating visits. I was on my last visit, which was the A/C. Mike was my service tech, and he was amazing. I have never had a tech give me so much wonderfully helpful pointers and tips. He has an incredible wealth of knowledge because he has been at this for so long. The AC in our rental property finally gave up the ghost, right as the summer starting getting really hot. I was worried that it could take weeks before our tenants would have a comfortable home again, but Airmaxx was very fast to come out and provide an estimate (which was significantly lower than the other estimate we got, and for superior products). I had Gilbert Cortez of Airmaxx come out to assess our air conditioning system. This was the third company I called out about the issue (water leaking from AC Unit). He immediately noticed that the entire drainage system was clogged. He effectively cleaned out the system while offering tips and instruction on how to prevent the issue from happening in the future. He was thorough and inspected the condenser as well as the AC/Furnace Unit. He successfully followed where the drainage pipes ran (something the other companies didn't) and properly cleared them out. He offered suggestions for future work while giving me what I needed to maintain the system currently. I would highly recommend this company. Gilbert was transparent and fair when it came to how he went about conveying what needed to be done. We used AirMaxx to replace our old inefficient systems with the new Carrier equipment: 3 furnaces, 3 ACs, and all the ductwork. It was a large project. They did an excellent job that took several days to complete. I also opted for 3 Nest thermostats. I love the Nest products and the ability to be connected to my home from anywhere. It was the icing on the cake. The entire process was transparent and easy, from the estimate (Alex gave it) to the complete installation- no miscommunication or price changes. I had contacted another company to troubleshoot my A/C system because it was not blowing cold air. After troubleshooting, they discovered that my system was out of Freon (R22). Thanks to Edgar and AirMaxx, my AC is working again (so far so good). My AC was turning on but not cooling. Edgar quickly diagnosed it (coolant was at 20%) and filled it up and included a leak sealant to help. We interviewed 3 companies to install heat pump systems to our home. We had forced air heating via a furnace and vents, but only 2 window air conditioners. Our initial contact and coordinator of our project was Gilbert Cortez. We chose AirMaxx because we liked Gilbert's explanation of what we needed and they had the lowest price of the three companies, as well as being a highly rated company. They also had heat pumps with the newer eco-friendly refrigerant. They suggested replacing our 58 year old ducting in the attic, which they did. We decided on a dual zone solution since we have a great room on the sunny side of our house, which also has a lot of windows and has a high ceiling. For the great room we installed a 2 ton Fujitsu with a remote control. For the remainder of our 1750 sq. ft. home, we installed a 3 ton Carrier hybrid heat pump which works with our existing Bryant furnace. Everything functions perfectly and can be controlled either with an app on our phones or adjusted manually. The installation was completed in one day (big crew). We are very satisfied and recommend this company.They were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. read more

Airmax is fantastic! They installed a complete new Bosch heat pump HVAC system with 2 zones. The Bosch system works very well and the heat pump has no issue heating our house. It's nice to have the zoning and be able to control the temperature upstairs and downstairs. Alex is very knowledgeable and recommended the right size system to us. His team installed everything within 6 hours and they were very efficient and curteous. There were a few minor follow-up items and they responded quickly and had knowledgeable people come out. Compared to the other companies we got quotes from, Airmax was also a good overall value. When he arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem and it was an easy fix.
