Our furnace broke down on Sunday, the day after New Years. I called "my" HVAC guy who's done excellent work for us before, but unfortunately he didn't work on weekends. I called around and found Airotech. Benjamin, the owner said he would stop by as soon as he was done with another appointment. He showed up, put on a mask and booties, and went to work. Within 20 minutes, he figured out the circuit board was on the fritz. He said he would call his sources to find a replacement. On Monday, he called to say he found a board and it would arrive by Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the courier. Today, he picked up the circuit board around noon, called to say he was coming over, and promptly fixed it. It was going to be 4 chilly days without heat. It is a quandary when a heatwave is about to hit and your 5 year new AC stops blowing cold and on a Sunday no less. Needed air conditioner serviced & it had been making a bit more noise when starting, like it was struggling to come on. Thank the lord for Benjamin! Our AC broke down on the hottest weekend. Room temp was 82 and we were dying inside...Benjamin responded to our message on Yelp literally within 5 minutes and showed up in an hour after finishing another job (on a Sunday what!!??). I submitted an inquiry via yelp on Saturday because my ac stopped blowing cold air. Benjamin responded immediately and said he could come see it on Sunday morning even though I said it wasn't urgent. My AC is very old so I was half expecting to have to replace the whole thing, but Benjamin gave me a very honest assessment and a few options, to either recharge the freon or replace the system.
