I called to have my windows tinted for my 1970 Plymouth, and right off the bat the guy I spoke with sounded like he really didn't want to do it because it was an older car. He charged me an additional $100 because my car was old and he said older cars have dirty windows and it would need an extensive cleaning. I explained to him this is a show car and never had tint on it before. Upon picking up the car he said the windows were actually very clean. But he still charge me the additional $100. I paid $325 to have one rear, two side glass, and two side windows. I recently had windows tinted on an SUV by another company for $185, and the work was just as nice. I was so excited to get my windows tinted, I've been wanting to do it the the car for a long time, but Airpark Tint made it a less than good experience. I will say, however, the craftsmanship was great, and the tint looks incredible. I just wish I was dealing with "Car Guys". It's my impression these guys are just in it to make money. read more

Having read some of the older reviews, I was initially skeptical of Airpark Tint. However, I also read they're under new management so I called and spoke with Brian, the owner. He gave me a good quote on 3M Crystalline 70% for my front windshield and had an appointment available for next day service. I waited in the waiting area while the tint was installed and spoke with Brian for a while. He's a hard working, small business owner trying to rebuild up a business that was trashed on Yelp before he ever worked there. He has many years in the business and the installer who did my truck has been doing exclusively auto tints for 13 years --- and the end result shows it. The tint looks great and I can't believe what a huge difference it makes in knocking the heat down. I can park in the sun, run into a store, and my truck is still just warm when I get back into it. Not bad with temps hovering around 105! The bottom line: I'm going to do my other car with Airpark Tint and refer my parents to them, too. Shop around, then give Brian a call. So they charge $650 to $700 to do an entire SUV depending on the type in 3M Crystalline Film. That's usually 7 windows. I ask for tinting just the rear and they want $275 just for that. Sorry math doesn't add up. If you don't want to tint just one window just say so. I understand that every business is out there to make a profit, but trying to squeeze as much profit as possible out of one window instead of looking at the long game is just bad customer service. At one time, I would have gone to Airpark to tint my car. However, after a experience with previous ownership, I decided to take my car elsewhere. The first thing that soured my relationship with Airpark was when I contacted them for a tint quote before I replaced my windshield due to a crack. When I told them about the windshield, they went into high pressure sales mode about replacing my windshield through my insurance. Point blank, I don't handle high pressure sales tactics well. After that, I received several calls to replace my windshield from them with a very pressured tone. However, when I first went there, the customer service was stellar and the product knowledge was great. They are quite pricey as my windshield alone cost $200 with their best 75% tint. read more

We recently purchased a groupon for tinting done on our sedan. Our car had tints on previously and we decided to come here and get a darker tint. Before placing our groupon order we called (twice) to get prices and was told there would be a charge to remove existing tints, a charge to go with the a premium Color Stable tint, however no additional charge to get a darker tint. Why else would we have purchased this groupon if we had tints. Once we got there we were told there is an additional charge to get a darker tint. After calling the manager, we were told he had zero "0" complaints and that we heard wrong. Both me and my friend called and inquired about this before purchasing and we were both told no additional fees. We were left out of luck. Brought my Tesla there for a window tint back in July and they did an awesome job. They also suggested doing the paint protection and I first thought they were just trying to sell my something I didn't need. Well 6 months and a few chips on my hood later from rock damage I brought it back and they did an even better job. You can't even tell the wrap is on the car and it looks amazing. The owner worked with me on dropping my car off and worked on it until 1030pm. Not really sure if the prices are competitive but when you get quality work with quality products it's worth it. Do NOT come here!!! Owner is doing sneaky business and is not concerned about customers one bit! I had 35% tint on my Honda already, but I wanted a darker shade. So before I bought a groupon to this place, I specifically called to ask if there were extra charges for darker shades TWICE. The owner, Bryan, answered that there would be no extra charges for darker shades even with this groupon. So I removed the tint on my own (they would charge $80 extra to remove tint), and made an appointment. When I got there with a purchased groupon, there were extreme extra charges if I wanted anything darker than 35%!!! I talked to Bryan, the owner, on the phone since the guy helping me there could not make a decision. Bryan was very rude, and said he did not say there would be no extra charges for darker shades. Why in the world would i spend money to remove my existing 35% tint to get the same shade?! If I was told of the extras up front, maybe I would still think about paying for it bu I could not stand being lied to, and most importantly I cannot tolerate sneaky businesses. I ended up refunding the groupon and did not get serviced there. I realized it might be a blessing in disguise after reading the reviews above (my fault for forgetting to check before choosing this place). Now I have to drive my car in Arizona during July without any tinting and have to find another place. And I will write a review on the better business bureau after this. read more

I have used Airpark Tint, prior to the change in ownership, to install tint on two previous vehicles with excellent results. Due to an excellent prior service, Airpark Tint was paid to tint a newly purchased vehicle in July 2010. Below is an account of the experience that causes me to strongly recommend against using Airpark Tint for any service. Airpark Tint was hired in July 2010 to tint my vehicle. For this service, airpark tint was paid $409.75 The vehicle was returned without being properly cleaned, liquid residue was left on the dash and center console of the vehicle. After the completion of service the vehicle was allowed ample time for the drying of the tint, care was taken not to roll up or down any of the windows of the vehicle during the recommended drying time. After 5 days the vehicle was inspected and all of windows showed issues of installer error. All windows had either bubbles or cuts easily visible to the eye. The vehicle was taken back to the service shop and met with Bob, owner of Airpark tint. He inspected the vehicle stating that the many of the bubbles were only visible when the windows were down and that some bubbling was normal. In addition the installer of the tint also inspected the car. At first, both displayed reluctance to address the issue. After some discussion Bob agreed to re-tint the entire vehicle. The vehicle was retinted the 2 weeks later, Aug 2010. Again post installation, care was taken to follow instructions on proper drying of the tint. Two days after the car was returned it was noticed that the rear passenger window was not working, the vehicle was taken to the dealer, who reported the window was jamming due to the window molding being folded in during the tint installation. Linda at Airpark Tint was contacted and informed of the issue, she stated that the installer was not longer working at Airpark Tint. Then, it was noticed that the rear window brake light had multiple scratch marks in the plastic cover. The cuts were consistent with a vertical scraping motion against the window, no other damage was present in the area. Airpark Tint was shown the damaged brake light cover, Bob stated he was sure that the damaged was not caused by the tint installer. Bob was also showed areas where the retinted windows were again beginning to have issues. Bob stated he would retint the window again, however due to the damage caused after the 2nd tint service the customer decided not to have Airpark Tint perform the service. Bob stated no monetary compensation would be given for the window tint. After some discussion Bob agreed to pay $50 for the brake light repair, at which time it was agreed that the customer would determine the cost for replacement of the damaged part. After contacting the dealer, it was determined the cost for the replacement part was $189. Airpark tint was then contacted and informed of the cost of the replacement part. Linda at Airpark Tint stated they would not pay for the replacement part. During the discussion she became very agitated and concluded the conversion with "We did not f*ck up you car" and ended the call. At no time was I rude or use vulgar language with anyone i spoke to there. I would definitely advise against using Airpark tint for any services; their services exhibit poor quality and in addition, they are unprofessional and offensive. read more

IGNORE POSITIVE REVIEWS! DON'T GO HERE! Here are my two experiences: (Please keep in mind that this is my first review I have written online. I never take the time to write reviews like this, but I need to save everyone from bringing their car here and getting wripped off. 1. I had my car done here around 5+ years ago. I paid $400+ for a full window tint job and a lifetime warranty. When the car was done back then the shop was owned by someone else and they did a killer job on my car. The tint job was perfect. No bubbles, and it lasted for a long long time. I had no complaints whatsoever and boasted about the place to all my friends. 2. I went back to Airpark Tint because I had such a positive experience the first time around that I didn't think the bad reviews could be true. Boy, was I wrong... Fast forward to a couple weeks ago (on a Friday) - I stop in there to talk to them about the same car to warranty the previous tint job out because it turned purple and was starting to peel on all of the windows. The shop is now under new management / ownership. The new owner tells me that since I have my receipt he will warranty all the windows and redo the job. Well, I had to bug the new owner, Brian every other day and he never called me back, I had to call him. Once he finally agreed to warranty out the tint, he gave me a gilt trip because he had not heard back from the window film company and he might have to take a loss. He was just complaining to me because he did not want to warranty out the tint. I continued and brought my car in later the next week to have the entire car redone. After they removed the old film and put on the new film (took 8 hours to do!) they called me and said the car was ready. When I got there, the car was still in the back and they were still working on it. They finally pulled the car around and I was very disappointed in what I had seen. All the outside doors and rear of the car had drip lines / marks from the water / soap they used during the job. The inside of the car was even worse, there were tint flakes all over and they left the inside of the doors soaking wet along with parts of the seats. Not only that but there were BUBBLES in all the windows and they cut out the 3rd brake light (which I haven't seen since the 80's and I never asked for that to be done). I didn't say anything and I decided to wait the 3-5 days to ensure the windows had time to "cure". During this time I was hoping the bubbles would go away and did not wind down the windows at all during that time. Needless to say the bubbles never went away and I was still very dissatisfied with the job. I brought it back to the owner (Brian) and he told me he would only redo one of the four windows and the rest have "acceptable bubbles". Acceptable bubbles? What the hell is that I thought to myself. So I said fine, and rescheduled a new appt for the following week. Before my next appt at Airpark tint I decided to get two different opinions on the job that they did and this so called "acceptable bubbles". I took the car to two other shops in the area. Both shops told me that the job was terrible and the car should not have been returned to me with any bubbles. Both shops offered to redo the car and promised to return it to me with NO bubbles. Needless to say I never went back to Airpark Tint. I canceled my appointment with them because I did not want them touching my car again! I made an appointment with one of the other two shops and they did a excellent job (in 2 hours time) on the same car with NO bubbles and I am very pleased. I will now give this new shop ALL my business and tell all my friends about it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO AIRPARK TINT AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. -DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER read more

Contrary to the way I shop normally(looking at reviews and calling around), I chose Airpark Tint based on availability. I'm pretty glad I did. The work looks very nice and the price was good. They did the work very quickly as well. My Volvo S60 was done in about an hour and a half while I waited, so it was nice not having to drop my car off and arrange a ride. They do lose 1 star for one issue I had though: The tint I thought I purchased was not actually what was put on my car. Prior to purchase I had researched the longevity and more importantly the UVA/UVB resistance of certain films. So I had a pretty good idea of specifically what I wanted when I went it. When I arrived, I was shown two grades of Suntek film and 1 grade of Llumar film. Knowing both product lines, I went with the Llumar film. So, when the warranty card was filled out for Suntek I was confused. I inquired as to why he was filling out a warranty card for Suntek when I purchased Llumar film. He told me that it was like Reebok/Nike and I wouldn't know the difference. To his credit, he's probably right, and most people don't care what brand of tint was used on their car. Ultimately, I'm happy with the product used and the price was good, but did feel a bit mislead during the buying process. read more

Do NOT patronize this company. First off I had my car detailed by them last week and just like the other review, I was not satisfied!! I purchased a Groupon and brought it up to the shop. It took them 5 hours to complete the job. I wanted a DETAIL and not a $3 run of the mill car wash. At first glance everything LOOKED fine inside the dark warehouse and upon further review in the light it was evident I wasted my money. There were crumbs under the seat, and I found some french fries I had dropped months ago. The headliner was left filthy. The cup holders looked the same way I left, sticky. Mats were still disgusting and unfortunately were placed on top of crumbs. I will be sure to tell everyone I come in contact with to keep their cars away form this place. read more

I recently purchased a very well cared for used Lexus LS430. The previous owner had the windows tinted at Airpark Window Tint Oct 2013. I purchased the car 8 months later. I noticed that the rear window and very small area on the rear driver side window started to de-laminate. The previous owner was very good about keeping records so I had the warranty card. I walked in and first question I asked "Is the warranty transferable" The young man said no. I said "thanks" and proceeded to walk out the door, he inquired about the problem, walked out to the parking lot took a look said "huh" and walked back in, no offer to fix at a reduced cost or help on any way, Now I don't know if the warranty policy is from 3M or Airpark, I can respect the policy but not the mentality. De-lamination in less than a year and the car not going through a summer in AZ. Keeping and building relationships in small business is too important to ignore. Both my son and daughter need tint on their vehicles and I promised to take care of it as a Christmas present. Guess where I won't be going.
