If you are on a budget, which most Flight Attendants are, this is the place to grab a bite and have a beer. Although I don't drink, I hear the beer is quite good. What I can report on is their food. Don't come with the expectation of a place like a Bob Evans or iHOP, but instead, a place with a fun atmosphere, incredible prices on food and a great place to wind down from a long day. Went on a Friday night and a Saturday night, during college football season. Fairly crowded both nights. Got great service (albeit slow as lots of people) as we watched college football. Really good BLT, and pulled pork sandwich except for the soft white bread it was delicious. The food is great, the price is right but CAUTION, beware of poor sanitation. The bathrooms are REALLY dirty. And, get this- the waitresses have to double as DISHWASHERS! In a sink- no dish machine. I'm not kidding you - how clean can those dishes be?. Had bad service from the start, walked in the door saw a dirty table asked for it to be cleaned so my family and i could sit, we were told someone was sitting their.. Not even a minute later they started cleaning off the table for a white family that had walked in the door five minutes after us. We looked at the server and said we just asked for that table.... What a disappointing disaster they served for a Corn Beef sandwich. This was some kind of processed cheap lunch meat that was dry, tough and tasteless. My friend ordered the Philly Cheese steak and it was chopped Hamburger meat with cheese, no peppers or onion and she also said" no flavor what so ever". The sandwiches are as big as your head! They are huge! You could order one and share it with someone. They are good, but it is an awful lot of food. The fries are soggy and obviously made from frozen and not fresh potatoes. You can not order a glass of water, so if your going to want something to drink you will have to buy it. The sandwich was so huge there was no way to eat it normally and it did not taste that great deconstructing it to eat. Got to the area too early when I was going to pick people up at the airport. I thought I'd waste some time at a local sports bar and get some dinner. The place looked okay and I love sandwiches. Went in and it was relatively quiet for a Sunday night. I picked a table and was served quickly. Had a beer and ordered a sandwich. The sandwich (pastrami) came out pretty quick and it was huge!! It tasted quite good and they served it with a massive pickle and had a small basket of fries. Everything was good. At the end I asked for the bill and saw it was 17.50. That seems crazy to me for a one dollar sign establishment. I had one beer 4.50, sandwich 8 or 8.50, and they charged 3.50 for fries. That seems excessive. I would say the meal was $5 more than it needed to be or is worth. I would have appreciated a heads up from the waitress on the extra charge. A nice "hey that's 3.50 extra for fries okay?" Would have been appropriate. I might come again for the sandwich but beware of extra charges and confirm them with your waitress before she walks away. read more
