    Pink potatoes
    Jaynie B.

Horrible experience.... Corned beef hash is canned ( which is fine) but then they mix it with their hash browns ( to save money? Not sure) but it ends up as tasteless pink potatoes... nasty.... Burnt toast... over medium eggs... were over well...broasted chicken was so tough I had to spit out the breast because I couldn't chew it.... Fish and chips .... They give you four pieces... they should because they are the size of fish sticks.... Chicken lemon rice was way too sour.... Overall bad experience..... one and done....whoever is cooking back there should be canned..... I've eaten at Dearborn and it was always good... not sure why this place sucked so bad....we left hungry and grabbed fast food on the way home....

This is the smaller of the two "Leon's" located oddly enough directly across the street from each other (I think they are brothers or cousins or something). I think the pictures displayed on this review as well as the first reviewers review, are of the larger of the two Leon's. The prices are great, the food is decent, and the service is good. Hats off to the busboy who is not a kid and who is right on the ball, and is the only one who clears tables, all day every day by himself AND he gets you your first beverages when you get there...now that is what I would call a hard worker!!! The food is ready pretty quick and the ambiance is just as you would expect from a diner...the friendly regulars and the "not" regulars. There are no "staple" dishes here, just regular ole diner stuff coupled with daily specials and the soups of the day and breakfast bar on the weekends. I would recommend this to someone looking for a decent neighborhood diner to just chill out and have an inexpensive full service meal.

My favorite Livonia breakfast place. The staff knows us and treats us like family. The prices are the best and the food is great.

Excellent Burger joint! I was drawn to this business based on all the excellent YELP reviews which…read morewere well deserved in my opinion and my new YELP quest to find the best Burger in Metro Detroit. For my first visit here I got their basic cheeseburger where I added Bacon and a second patty upgrading from a 1/4 pounder to a 1/2 Lb burger. My Burger was cooked to perfection and probably the juiciest burger I have had in this area (get extra napkins(: ). It was very tasty and clearly in the upper echelon of the burgers I have tried. At $10.50 which included the two upgrades of bacon and 2nd patty was a deal in my opinion especially when you consider the quality of the burger. Relative to staff and facility, the staff was very friendly and checked in on me twice during my meal to include the owner which is amazing when you consider this is a counter order operation. Facility itself is clean and large with a lot of tables, both indoor and outdoor dining. This restaurant has an open kitchen/grill that is visible to the dining area offering great sight lines into their operation which I actually enjoyed. Overall a top shelf unpretentious burger centric joint. If you are into well made tasty burgers and are in the area than this is a must visit that should not be missed!

I recently tried a cheeseburger from a local restaurant, and it was really good overall. The bun…read morewas soft and lightly toasted, which made it easy to bite into without falling apart. The burger looked fresh and was served hot, which made it even more appetizing. The beef patty was juicy and cooked just right. It had a nice grilled flavor that wasn't too greasy or dry. The cheese was melted perfectly over the top, adding a creamy texture that blended well with the meat. The lettuce, tomato, and pickles were fresh and added a nice crunch. One thing I liked most was the balance of flavors. Nothing overpowered the burger, and every bite tasted consistent. The sauce added just the right amount of tanginess without making the bun soggy. Overall, I would definitely order this burger again. It was filling, flavorful, and worth the price. If you enjoy a classic cheeseburger with fresh toppings and a juicy patty, this one is a great choice.

I was fortunate to be working at McLaren Engineering across the street, otherwise I would never…read morehave known about the Detroit Burger Bar. I've been to McLaren many times without noticing it: like most of the buildings along this stretch of 8 Mile Road, it has a boxy look that doesn't stand out. But, it was time for lunch, so I followed my coworkers across the street. I had just had a burger the day before, so I got the Cuban Panini instead. Sandwiches come with fries or tots, and can be upgraded to onion rings for $3. There were 10 of us, but we got our food quickly. I didn't actually count them, but it seemed like there were about 40 tater tots on my plate. And, they were perfectly crispy. As for the Cuban, I was intrigued by the addition of avocado. Unfortunately, it was swimming in mayo, which it definitely didn't need. Once the mayo was wiped away and mustard was added, it revealed a solid sandwich, though there wasn't as much pork as I'd want in a Cubano. Sandwiches start at $13, which is a great price for a massive sandwich with fries included. Considering the great service, this is a perfect lunch spot....now that I know it's here.

Decent burger, good size, reasonable price and they give you a lot of fries. Even though I say they…read morehave decent burger, they are missing a major element of a good burger. They are using frozen patties. I am pretty sure of it. When you take the first bite, you get full the ingredients but also the patty just taste plain and boring. Tt has no seasoning, some salt and pepper and maybe some garlic powder sprinkle on the beef patty will be much better. They did good on rest of the ingredients, toasted soft buns, fresh veggies, melted cheese, but the beef is a big letdown. Price probably goes up if they use fresh beef patties but I rather pay more for a better burger.
