WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAIR. INCOMPETENT, BURNS, AND DISHONEST MANAGEMENT.I drove 35 minutes and took half a day off for what turned out to be a traumatizing, 4+ hour nightmare. While my eyebrow threading ($11) was fine, their hair services and customer treatment are utterly pathetic.I asked for a balayage, but because my hair is short, they suggested highlights instead. I explicitly and repeatedly stated: NO blonde and NO caramel. I wanted a deep brunette/mocha brown blend with dark black roots.Instead, they completely messed up the foils and left me with bright blonde and caramel hair. Before blow-drying, the stylist forced a "conditioner" on me, aggressively insisting it was necessary, without ever mentioning a fee. As she dried my hair, she burned me with the hair dryer.When I expressed my immediate dislike for the blonde, they brought over a self-proclaimed "expert." They kept telling me, "Sister, we will do it, trust us." At that point, I just wanted an all-over dark color so I could leave and pick up my dog. They refused and insisted they could fix the highlights. Instead, without my permission or asking which color I wanted, they just painted my entire head in a root color. My hair looks exactly the same as when I walked in. To make matters worse, during the second blow-dry, the stylist burned the skin next to my left eye.The checkout process was even worse. A woman named "Aisha," who claimed to be the manager, tried to scam me. She tried to charge me for the unauthorized all-over color. Then, she tried to charge $30 for the surprise conditioner. When I called out the price, she boldly lied and claimed the "new price" was actually $50. When I told Aisha that her staff had literally burned my shoulder and face, this disgusting excuse for a human being laughed. After demanding a corporate number, she handed me a fake, junk phone number that goes nowhere. I called a different location to report this, and while that representative took my info and promised the owner would call me, I have heard absolutely nothing.Save your time, your money, and your safety. This place is an unprofessional, deceptive circus that will damage your hair, try to steal, and burn you and then laugh about it. read more

Disappointed with facial. Esthetician did it with gloves and did not feel the same. The facial massage was not calming or soothing and hand movement to fast & rough. Although she was apologetic after she got product in my eyes & it burned, I just can't recommend facials here anymore. This is the second facial with same experience at two different locations. This is my go-to location after figuring out it existed. It's kind of hard to spot from Hwy 6 unless you're looking for it. I only go in for eyebrow threading, so I can't review the other services though I'd like to try a facial sometime. This location is never super busy even on the weekends; I don't think I've ever waited longer than ten mins. Eyebrows always look great! Do they also tell me that I have super hairy eyebrows and that I should let them also get rid of my mustache? Yes, but I just pretend it's my grandma giving "advice". read more

I just went today for my brows / upper lip appointment at 6:30 and I felt like it was a bit rushed because she was gonna cut someone hair before (but I had mentioned my appointment was at 6:30 so she attended me shortly after) and I noticed I still had hair on my upper lip and the left side of my brows was threaded too thin, so my eyebrows just look different but the price is good and she was good at her job just felt rushed and couple mistakes happened. read more

Ok I'm doing two reviews in one. The one I had today and another for what I usually come here for. #1 so today was my first time getting a facial and it was the best experience. I got my eyeballs massaged !! My eyeballs! Omg I always wanted that , it was so relaxing and the 10 min steam has my face feeling hydrated. Everything was clean and smelled nice. I made another appointment. ( My beautician: Shaista) #2 Face/brows the best threading location. My brows come out looking perfect every time no matter who threads them. Affordable prices- they have specials during the week for different types of services. Just ask! If you check in on yelp they give you $1 off from your next eyebrow threading. I love getting eyebrow threading. BUT be very specific with what you want your results to be for whatever service. I hate thin eyebrows so I am very specific so they don't go over board. (I've had a bad experience once when I didn't specify). I usually get my waxing done by Mirtha. She's decent and very nice. She's the only one that does an average job. I've had a horrible experience with another chick in the same place that didn't know what she was doing. She left me going home with wax. I regret not getting her name. Just be careful. Most of the employees are older ladies, and like some said, that look very disinterested. Do not spark much conversation.. or a smile for that matter. I wish I could rate my experience ZERO stars. I am a regular at this location and usually leave satisfied but this time they really messed up my eyebrows. A lady I've never seen before began working on my eyebrows and trimmed too much off of the top and bottom of my left eyebrow making it totally and noticeably uneven. Additionally, she was distracted chatting with her coworkers and rushed through it. I knew as soon as I got up something was wrong. The amount of cut hair on my face was not normal. I went in for highlights. She took too long. Took a picture of me without permission (and not even for before and after). She tried to dye my hair and argued with me when I refused. I love coming here, you can not get a better service for the amazing price. I try to come every other week, but it doesnt always work out. Now the price for their eyebrow threading has changed from time to time for the years ive been coming here which is fine cause its still better than most places and this location is the only one i been to that offers such a low price. There have been times where the price was $4 for any day. Then it was $8 and its been $10 and now back to $8. I think it was $7 at one point as well. However there was a time recently where one lady paid for eyebrow threading for $4 and then i paid $8 right after her. Dont know why and i feel like it really depends on how they feel for charging. This past saturday was free on 9/21 for their anniversary and i had no idea when i came in and really enjoyed this treat which i did tip for their service. This place is great cause time goes by quick here and they do a great job as far as eyebrows. Haircuts are another thing.... which is eh but it was cheap and you get what you pay for lol read more

never. ever. EVER. again. I paid for Brazilian & underarms. I left.. hairy, w/ a body full of wax & baby oil. They (because the first lady needed assistance) applied the extra hot wax (which I commented on time and time again). Laid the too small strips & ripped, ripped and ripped some more. Um, have y'all not heard of tweezers and who doesnt know that the kitty is extra sensitive? Like, seriously. Smh. Never, ever. again. I came in on a Friday afternoon to get my eyebrows threaded. There were 3 ladies working and I only had to wait about 5 minutes. Naheed was the one who did my brows and I am super satisfied! She was quick, precise, and polite. I asked her to keep them thick and she did just that. My eyebrows never looked so good! It is $7 for eyebrow threading but you can check in here for $1 off. They also have an app you can download for a stamp card. However, if you use the stamp card, you cannot use the check in offer. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and come here again. I've been on a quest for a good brow place since the last 3 I've been to left me with brows that I was satisfied, but not happy with. I was driving through the area and saw Aisha's and decided to give it a try. Upon entering, they had the prices of all their services on top by the receptionist, which I appreciated. I was surprised to find that eyebrow threading is only $7 here! Cheapest threading place I've found in the Land of Sugar. I was pretty pleased. I went on Yelp to "check in" and turns out that gave me an exra $1 off - woo! The people ahead of me were waiting on a specific lady so I was bumped up and served about 3 minutes after I had walked in. The lady was pretty quiet and went straight to work, but I didn't mind that at all because I'm one of those people that can't hold a conversation when I'm in pain. The pain isn't THAT bad but I'm pretty sensitive to pain in general so my eyes were watering all over the place, lol. She was done in about 3 minutes and I was SO SO SO pleased with how they turned out! This is probably the best they've looked in ages! **ONLY EYEBROWS** Parveen is my go-to for eyebrows! There is another lady that I recently went to since Parveen wasn't working one day who is newer...I forgot her name but she's pretty good as well. I like that they have the stamp card. Also she listens to my request to not go crazy with the threading to make my eyebrows too thin. With her, I feel like she gets any excess hairs on my face near my forehead and on the sides near my hairline which I like. After threading, she uses the tweezers to pull out any hairs that were tougher to get since I do tweeze in between sessions. Some people talk about the customer service but Parveen is generally nice and we make small talk during the short time she does my eyebrows. It's usually pretty quick and I don't wait too often. read more

Update: I went back a few weeks ago and Lololol this lady did a pretty bad job‍. One eyebrow was a loooot skinner than the other. She was super nice! I don't think she was desi, maybe irani?? ‍ And the other lady that was working there was def lacking basic customer service skills. When I first came in, she never once looked up from her phone when she spoke to me. So today was my first time getting my brows threaded and I was a bit nervous because I've heard how "painful" it usual was. So I came in on a Thursday around 2pm so it wasn't busy and right away I was greeted and asked to sit in the first chair. Immediately she asked what I wanted which was just a clean up. SHE. WAS. Came here for the first time, considering I've been to other Aisha's (wilcrest, sugarland locations) to get my eyebrows threaded. Rehana took care of me, she did a really good job shaping and cleaning up my eyebrows however, she was a bit rude. She would jerk my hand off my hand instead of being gentle and she constantly kept talking to the other lady working there. Not once did she greet me or ask me if I liked it or if it was ok. Towards the end when she was finished she applied aloe on it and I got up to see how my brows looked and she jerked back to apply the aloe, talk about being rude. It's called being gentle and kind to your clients. Definitely didn't feel like I was at Aisha's Salon. I've been treated better, if you want good service and good customer service just go down to Priyas salon. Definitely not coming here again! read more

This place is a clean facility and they provide a student discount which I admire but the down fall of this business is that there's ALWAYS a waiting game, I've tried being a walk in to setting an appointment and still having to wait 30 plus minutes passed my appointment. However, I have always had the best experience at this location. Very quick service and my brows always look particularly great when I go here. Neda was amazing. 1 star for the beautiful henna tattoo I got at a decent price. Reason this review is only 1 star is because you can honestly see that everyone that works there genuinely doesn't give a damn about customer service. The lady that did my henna did a beautiful job, but you could see it on her face that she didn't even want to do it to begin with. The worst one of all would be the young receptionist, lord this girl has no idea what good customer service means. She by far is the sole reason why I will never step 1 foot in there again. I had been making the drive to first colony mall to get my eye brows threaded for the past 2 years and wasn't very happy. One day I didn't feel like driving to the mall so I stumbled across this place. I am very particular about my brows and they always need to be perfect so I was skeptical at first but saw it had decent reviews and decided to check it out. It did meet up to my standards! I just walked in with no apt and I was seated right away, the girl was very nice and asked what I wanted to have done, I told her I wanted to keep them thick and she did so. I would have to say my brows look better then they have in awhile and the best part is that it was only $7 versus the $11 I was paying at the mall and they give u a punch card so once you get 9 threads you get the 10th for free! And if you check in you get $1 off. So I now have my new favorite place and will be going back for sure! read more

I went on December 04, 2015 to get highlights. I paid 100 bucks expecting to get the right results. But the hair dresser did horrible highlights, my hair looks a mess! My hair looks nowhere close to a highlight, there were three ladies who were trying to manage my hair and none of them could decide a color, they did not know what they were doing. The only service this place should be providing is eyebrow threading. For eyebrows, I'd say their service is quick, well-done and reliable. Brought my Mom in here to cover up her gray roots. I left her there to run some errands and came back to hear my Mom tell me about the following: (1) her back and outfit was soaked with water because the chair at the hair washing station is broken; (2) her neck hurt because they don't have a proper sink for hair-washing; (3) hair color had not been washed off properly and was still covering her ear; (4) the hair color mixture burned/stung as soon as they applied it to her skin; (5) they waxed her upper lip instead of threading it like I instructed before I left - it wasn't even a complete wax job and I could see hairs remaining; (6) a few grays that weren't covered, which I understand can happen and is normal - however, don't make excuses and just fix the problem; (7) one of the ladies appeared to be sleepy and my Mom was too scared to let her thread her upper lip to complete the upper lip wax job. I told them I wasn't going to pay full price because of the terrible experience and ended up paying 33% less. I used to go there for eyebrows but don't plan on going there anymore. Invest in proper equipment and fix broken chairs. I understand that this isn't some high-end salon but at least get the basics right. read more

WOST haircut ever. My hair was pretty dry and damaged so I was okay with cutting off a lot of it. I asked for a square cut with a little length still in the front. She insisted I got layers too. Well... my hair is shorter in the front and not straight in the back and instead of layers, I have steps going up my hair. AND there was a dead cockroach on the floor in front of me the whole time.
