In the response to my request they offered several available time slots including some the same day, so I brought our car in that afternoon. They reviewed the damage, said it would take about an hour to fix, and about an hour later our car was repaired and ready. I got 9 quotes from repair shops in SF. Some were 3 times as much as the work I got completed at AJC. This was not an extensive amount of work, no major collision or anything, the car is a 2020 Honda. One door got scraped and dented-in, so the metal needed to be replaced along with the trim. I submitted 8 emails to shops with all the pictures needed. I also submitted 6 more through Yelp's tool to get quotes. In 2025, its seems pretty unnecessary to 'have to bring it in' - this isn't anything involving frame damage or internal mechanicals. Some didn't bother to even reply. Others claimed it was necessary to this or that to the front door [not even impacted] and another said they'd need to both doors and some sort of color matching to the rear panel behind the damaged door "because I have a glitter-finish coat." None of that was necessary, and more specifically not at all what I'd asked for - just a money grab from some of those other garages. AJC was priced well, answered all my initial questions through direct-message first and then an eventual call to them before deciding to go with them. They got the work done in the timeframe they gave me, the paint was matched exactly, and 6wks later I have no concerns. Looks great. read more

This is hands down one of the best auto body shops in SF. The guys who work there are professional and do a great job. Everything matches and the blending is not noticeable at all. Next they gave me a verbal quote and even though the computer program they use quoted about $400 more, they still honored the verbal quote.
