These guys were great communicators whether it be email or text and they were very responsive. Pick up and drop off were very flexible in the time window, which was nice. We used the Kihei locker pick up and drop off, as it was pretty close to our lodging. I will say the toddler bed doesn't look anything like the photos, it's a very solid metal framed bed that I was lucky to have gotten a suv rental and had to put all the seats down as it didn't breakdown at all. Other than that, most of the stuff is fairly used but still in good condition. It's legitimately like if you borrowed some stuff from your friend. You wouldn't get brand new stuff, nor would your buddy clean every nook and cranny of it. All in all, I was really happy with this experience and the price was well worth not having to lug everything over.

As a (very, very) infrequent snorkeler, I was thinking of buying my own gear off Amazon and figuring out how to make space in my already limited luggage space to fit what I'd need. However, I came across this small snorkel gear chain reading through some online reviews. What really stuck out to me was paying only $5 for an interisland pick up and 24 hr drop off service that wouldn't require bringing rented gear across the islands. In the name of convenience and wanting to see the novelty for myself, I made an online one week gear reservation for prescription snorkels. That costed a little bit more, but absolutely worth the upgrade to be able to see another world under the waves. Pickup at the store was a breeze! The staff was super friendly and courteous, and went out of their way to make sure my prescription was exactly what I needed to see clearly. Included in the rental was an anti-fog solution and a handy fish guide, which were both super helpful and appreciated! The gear was top notch, definitely of great quality and most likely better than whatever $40 gear I'd get off Amazon. More importantly, the 24 hr drop off service worked amazing! I dropped off my 1st rental after hours in the convenient drop off box, and at my next stay in Oahu picked up a fresh set of gear using my previous rental receipt! Drop off was just as easy as well, and the staff at this store was just as friendly and helpful too. Honestly, if you need snorkel gear or want the convenience of not having to schlep gear across islands, Snorkel Bob's is THE only way to go! Not only would you be supporting an amazing local business, but you'll be thankful you have only the best gear in hand to make your snorkeling adventures really unforgettable. If I ever return myself or with other friends/family, I'll definitely be running to a Snorkel Bob's for all my gear rental needs!!

We had our own reef shoes, but he also offered them which are a must for certain surf spots like Launiupoko. He was a little late and had to change our rendezvous spot. But he called/texted to give me updates, and it's pretty understandable given that he's driving around the island dropping off and picking up boards. Like I said, I like his hustle and this is a great alternative to figuring out which surf shop to go to. A tad more expensive than a typical surf shop. But the delivery and pickup makes it very reasonable.

I had the board for almost a full week and used it every single morning. Alex made sure to explain the details and seriousness of the Hawaiian ocean currents and set me on my way.
