I requested the bike originally on a Tuesday, but due to the weather forecast, I requested a change to Saturday. This was completed with ease. The day I received the bike was a glorious day to ride. The gentleman, Denny, was absolutely great. I returned the bike early due to my age and being a little unsteady. Denny offered a scooter at no cost for the rest of the day if I liked. the 150CC scooter was sick. fun to whip around and still has plenty of power for a 2 person ride. took it on the road trip to Hāna with zero issues, other than getting pissed on by clouds all day lol. put over 350 miles on the thing in 4 days and it was a fun time and the seats where actually very comfy. read more

No matter what you do in Maui.....make sure you stop by Aloha Motorsports to get a Slingshot and enjoy the views!! Views are so much better in a Slingshot! The staff is so amazing! Provided great tips for our road trip to Hana. We stopped for a few waterfall visits and some lookout spots. The Slingshot also has great gas mileage! We only used a 1/2 tank and it was only $25 to refill to full. Our deposit was returned promptly as well. Please make sure you inform the staff of your plans so they can advise you. They know the island best! They also informed me they are in Palm Springs and will be opening in Napa as well! We rented mopeds for a half day here with the excellent aid of Mark. What a fun excursion! Riding he mopeds was so much better than being in a car; we felt like we were outside, rather than traveling as we always do. We rode up through the towns of Napili and Kahala to Highway 30, which is not a fun drive if you're in a car--take it from me! It's a windy road along the northwest coastline with breathtaking views. It rained for much of our trek, but was still a blast! We went to the blowhole and then turned back after a muddy hike. We stopped at Maui Brewing for lunch on our way back and still plenty of time to lay by the pool. No scooter experience required--$40 for 5 hours--a great deal! read more

Amazing customer service!!!! We were treated like long lost friends!!! We were taking the Road to Hana and wanted something to drive and saw the Slingshot and once we started talking to the man behind the counter (I am sorry but I didn't catch his name, too busy being impressed with everything) he gave us all kinds of advice. When to leave, what to expect, how to get around the traffic, anything we could need. We returned it the next day and he was just as helpful and happy to see us. Everyone is friendly in Maui but this man treated us like his only job was to make sure we had the best experience ever, and we did. I don't normally write comments, and never for a rental place, but I want everyone to know how crazy nice this place is. I wasn't sure about renting the Slingshot but it was the best car for the trip. No view was obstructed, very little gas used, easy to drive, fun to drive. But the best part was the service. Stay away from these crooks . I would give them a minus 5 if I could . Rented a Polaris in good faith . Drove all over the island ! Had no accidents , not even a maybe ! Returned it in exact condition we rented it in but .. here's the catch .. beware .. no one was there when we turned it in ! A few days later we see a charge on our credit card for 750$ . We went by to see when that would be reversed as we thought it was a deposit ! They claimed we wrecked it ! That NEVER happened! I think they wrecked it while parking it and our trying to charge us . They hope you'll never check your credit card ! They cannot prove to me they didn't do it themselves and I know we didn't ! I am soo angry . Ruined our trip . Would love to leave 0 stars if possible. Rented 3 Slingshots and a Harley. Got a flat tire on one of the slingshots. Called them. They called a towing company that in turn called us. Wanted almost $2000 for the tow that Aloha was putting all on us. Ended up getting charged to replace the tire because we filled it with fix-a-flat to get it back... much cheaper than the tow. Then... have only released the $1500 for 2 of the Slingshots that gets held on a credit card for damages. They signed the return for all units indicating all were in good, undamaged condition upon our return. Have been fighting them for months! They will not answer any of our calls or call us back. THE WORST COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THEM! read more

Unfortunately, this place was horrible. My party and I rented a total of 7 mopeds from Aloha Motorsports Lahaina. The moped I received couldn't even hit 30 mph on a downhill slope and burned through 1/2 a tank in 20 minutes. So I called and asked if I could switch and they were nice enough to upgrade me for free. We all decided to do the North Loop around the NW side of Maui and upon our return one of our bikes broke down on the side of the road. (Which we later find out broke down the day before also.) Luckily we opted for the towing coverage which was an additional $10 but then had to wait over 2 hours for them to reach us, agree it was broken, drive back to Lahaina to drop it off, and drive back with a new moped. The next morning we all woke up at 4 a.m. to catch the sunrise as we drove along the coast and 30 minutes into our ride another one of our bikes breaks down. But, since it was before 6 a.m. nobody answered for a good 30 minutes. When we finally get ahold of someone they answer with the absolute worst attitude and tell us were "outside the towing boundaries". Which makes absolutely no sense considering: 1. We're only 20 minutes from Aloha Motorsports. 2. We're closer than we were yesterday when we broke down. 3. One of their employees told us to get the towing coverage if we decided to go to Hana which is HOURS away from Aloha Motorsports. Luckily the main guy we'd been working with, Mo, showed up and towed us back. But we still had to wait from 5:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for him to show up. When we arrive back at Aloha Motorsports around 9:30 a.m. Mo tells us we only have until 11 since they have another party coming in and since 2 bikes are broken down they'd have to give us the super slow one I started out on. We opted to just call it a day. Afterwards we asked if we'd be able to have a half day just to make up for time lost because of their bikes breaking down. We were told that we could get the "local discount" of 10% if we came back another day. LOL. All-in-all after speaking with them on the phone they clearly have no customer service skills whatsoever. They were completely rude and every time you call their after hours roadside assistance you're always greeted with an unenthusiastic monotone "Hello." After paying $85 per moped and having literally half a day taken away from us because their mopeds are absolute SH*T and break down with no refund of any kind I will never be coming back here. You can literally go to 808 mopeds down the street for the same price. And I'm sure their mopeds don't break down every single day. The grumpy old harley worker was a total scrooge and purposely gave us a faulty bike that broke down the day before. The worker their named Mo was nice though. read more

I went into the Lahaina store and made a reservation with Kalan for a Slingshot. I went back on the day of the reservation, and he had no record of my reservation and no Slingshot for me. While I was there, I got a phone call from Blaze at the Waikiki location asking when I was coming to pick up the Slingshot. Woe, that's a long swim. Blaze was really cool about the mix up and Kalan did [figurative] backflips to make things right. Aloha is not just their name, they do business with the Aloha spirit. We had a great trip to Haleakala and Ho'okipa Beach. Mahalo Guys. PS Check the weather before taking a Slingshot to Haleakala. We had an unusually warm day, but if its cold the road to Hana may be a better choice. read more

I was in Maui and wanted to rent a bike. I am familiar with Eagle Rider franchise, so gave this place a try. They have only cruisers and mopeds, no sportbikes. I checked out the sportsters 883 and the 1200, but they looked pretty beat up. Tom and Bob showed me the bikes they had, prices, and were very informational and didn't hassle to upsell me. The other bikes were in pretty good conditions, such as the street glides and nicer bikes. I just wanted a bike to putt around the island and didn't want to spend over $100. The sportsters are about $99 a day, $79 for 4 hours and $89 for 8 hours. Not a bad deal to have a bit of fun. They also have loaner helmets to use for free. Nice low key place that was quick and easy to rent from. I think they do pick-ups and drop offs too, they had a shuttle van for customers. He also had a Honda Shadow, which I took out and had a great time. read more
