I just got Ubereats from Al Basha. Wowwww. Here is my review: Labne was amazing! Not super yogurt-like, more like a soft creamy delicious cheese. Falafels were great, not dense and dry, these were lighter and delicious. Tabbouli was delicious, fresh, and tasted homemade. Grape leaves (dolmas) were one of my favorites, also tasted lighter and less starchy than other places, which I loved. Mixed shawarma platter was really big and the meat was delicious. You can tell that they season and marinate the meat themselves. Both were just really really good. Also, all the sauces were great. Baklava: girlfriend said it was the best she's ever had. The fries were not cooked and looked like to be frozen fries that were microwaved. The rice was also almost uncooked. Even the salad was subpar; it was old and water was dripping from the lettuce. Help yourself to your canned soda or bottled water from the cooler near the front. Staff will bring your food and you pay after eating. I love the honor system. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I had the falafel pita with fries and a drink and my friend had the gyro pita. The total price was $18.50 for both including tax and tip; that's a pretty good deal in this area. The food came quickly and was fresh and delicious. The pita was a good size and came thoughtfully wrapped in foil to prevent messiness. Fries are good ole american krinkle cut and there are burgers on the menu, but there's a nice authentic feel to the place. They advertise halal, which is a food preparation standard in keeping with the Islamic religion. They also deliver. Nice and clean inside and service was very friendly and efficient. Worst customer service I've ever received. The first time i walked here from my job to order food and got ignored. They assisted MEN that came after me but didn't assist me. I decided to leave. So the next time I tried giving this place a shot I called over 10 times, once they picked up I was attempting to place an order for me and 2 other coworkers. I asked for the total after each order and when I went to place the last order the guy in the phone told me "look at the menu and call back" I tried explaining that I'm placing a order but he rudely hung up. Now I'm 8 months pregnant and seriously craving a Gyro. So these people made me walk 1/2 a mile just to place a order for me and my coworkers because they refused to take my order over the phone. The tahini was green making for an interesting site, but was tasty and I believe had cucumber and parsley in it. The fries had a kick to them, maybe some harissa and mayo, added on top. I love med food but this place missed on so many levels. Very bland, especially for ordering a gyro extra spicy. To start we got Jerusalem fries. Basically fries smothered in hot sauce. Not bad. They get saggy quickly but probably the best part of the meal. One person got the shrimp platter. Salad and shrimp were not seasoned and very bland. Someone else got the shrimp wrap.
