    Salad with Chicken and feta.

They have The Best Hummus and the serving sizes are very large. V9 Is the best soup I have ever tried. You can add chicken. They also offer option to add feta or cheddar. They have a Cranberry Chicken Salad is flavorful and a very nice sized Salad. The Tabouli is made fresh daily. They have a dessert case with many suggestions. We have tried several all yummy and delicious. The prices are reasonable and they have a very nice outdoor patio.

Came by here while I'm town because we were looking for somewhere that has some healthier options. We came around 6 so it wasn't too busy yet and were sat right away. Shortly after we were greeted by our server They had a wide variety of options and we ended up sharing the kibbie app and 2 entrees. Aladdin's favorite and the Mediterranean Lamb plate. The meat portions were a little small, but everything tasted yummy. Would recommend!

It's been sever years since I've been here. It's as delicious as I remember. No it's even better! They have so vegan options too. Even desserts! Our server Christa was all smiles and helpful with narrowing my options down. Their bathroom's are clean and the restaurant has lots of seating inside and outside. They've made want to visit Lebanon and eat my way around the Mediterranean.

We took my grandmother here to celebrate her 89th birthday. This was the only restaurant she knew of that had vegan options to accommodate myself and my husband. They actually had over 30 vegan friendly options! The baba ghanoush was amazingly smoky and tasty. The hummus was light and airy and pairs well with the pita. The spicy cauliflower was the best loved dish at our table- so good, not hot but flavored really well. The lentil soup was not to my liking but my husband enjoyed it. Service was great and the restaurant was clean and cute. The dessert stand was impressive with the most massively sized cakes I have ever seen. Will be returning next time we visit grandma!

An amazing find in a wasteland of malls and junk food. Freshly prepared mediterranean food with lots of healthy options -- and cheap!

Went to Mary's in new castle. Literally best meal I've had here. In new castle I mean. It wasn't…read moreso-much the ingredients, they just nailed the execution. I got the lamb combo. I don't hate kibee, but I've never liked it. It makes a #### is all I could say for it. This is the fried kibee with bulgur wheat and meat shell, filled with more meat and wheat. Usually bland and overcooked. I like raw kibee, which is usually chopped beef when you eat out in new castle. But that stuff that's deep fried to briquet consistency? Mary's just nailed it. Cooked so the inside was hot and moist, shell wasn't a deep fried rock. Lamb and grape leaves as well. I like Little Damascus more, but this was pretty freaking good. The lamb was perfect. Perfectly medium rare, lightly seasoned, and had that grilled taste. Because it was actually grilled. Wife got lamb on the rod with rice. Delicious fluffy beautifully seasoned rice. And all the usual sides everyone gets at practically every restaurant and bar when you get lamb in new castle. Peppers in oil, hummus, a garlic sauce that will make you everyone's favorite person, and Syrian bread. Did I mention the name of the place is Mary's Restaurant and Bakery? I think. Mary's and Bakery are in the name for sure. They got great Syrian bread. And I don't like Syrian bread. (I'm a riddle wrapped in an enigma) Mary's was already my favorite place in new castle, which is saying something because I like a few places here. But where they beat every other place, and I mean anywhere, is the wait staff. They are always well staffed. And the staff are just great. They really do like their job, and the customers. Conversation, never rushed. Just they just take a genuine interest. Which is good for me because the wife likes to talk while I'm eating. Oh that was a joke, I was kidding. Seriously though. The servers and staff are just nice to be around. From the moment you walk in the door to when you leave. Adding todays pics to a previous review. Yes, I like the place. For a reason. And that reason is food, service, setting (beautiful inside, and pretty cool out as well) and another place that is consistently excellent.

While middle eastern cuisine was not on our bingo card, we were glad we stopped. The falafel sandwich was delicious. The lamb was amazing and the hummus was off the charts ! We've ordered takeout from this little Syrian spot in Niles at least ten times now. And I don't say…read morethis lightly...there has never been an off day. Not once. The consistency alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the food itself? It's something special. Let me start with the hummus. I don't even know how to say this without sounding dramatic, but it's hands down the best hummus we've ever had. It's unbelievably smooth, rich, and somehow manages to go with everything. And yes...I'm going to say it...dip your fries in it. Trust me on that one. And order the large size hummus to take home with you. The rice deserves its own moment too. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of richness. I'm not sure if it's butter or oil or some magic in between, but whatever they're doing, it works. It's the kind of rice you keep eating even when you're full. We usually go for the chicken over rice, which comes with peppers and onions, and it's always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. This is not bland food. Everything has depth. We've also had the three-meat combo (lamb, chicken, and beef), and every single piece is tender and cooked just right. It all comes together with that incredible red sauce and the garlic sauce...which I always order extra because I refuse to run out halfway through the meal. Add in the pita for the hummus, and it's just one of those meals you look forward to the entire drive home. And speaking of the drive...we will happily go 35-40 minutes out of our way just to pick this up. That should tell you everything. On top of all that, it's a family-owned place, and you can feel it. Customer service is warm and thoughtful. You'll often see the husband and wife there, sometimes their kids, and I believe his mother is in the kitchen and honestly, it shows. There's something about the food that feels cared for, not just made. We've tried a few different things on the menu and everything has been great, but the dishes I mentioned are what keep calling us back. Highly, highly recommend!!
