Instead, the tech went to Home Depot on his own, bought a cap, put it on the end of a tube as a temporary "fix," and charged me $200 for it. I was never consulted or given N estimate. When I pushed back, they claimed it was "urgent," but it wasn't -- it was a slow trickle leak that had been going on for days and was being managed just fine in the meantime. I refused to pay for a fix and came back out and removed the cap. My tenant then did the exact same fix himself for a couple bucks in a couple of minutes. Then they quoted me $450 to actually fix the problem. I bought the part myself, and my tenant -- with zero appliance repair experience -- looked up a how-to video and installed it in under 20 minutes. On top of all that, I was charged $85 for a "diagnostic" before they gave me the diagnostic. I had to ask for them to tell me the part that was bad.

The Vent-A-Hood system measurement was off by over 40" so it does not function as it now hangs too far above the Stove to even be reached without a step stool-and we are 6'3" & 5'8" heights. The dryer was plugged in but the dryer vent never installed nor was the small water line for the "freshening feature" we loved. The wall oven was only partially installed as well. Management failed to assist with correcting any of the issues and then overcharged us by over $2000.00 to boot. We have paid other contractors to repair things but are still trying to find an installer to correct the vent hood. An utter fiasco.

Purchased a GE Profile Cafe dishwasher from Lynn right before they were bought out. It was never…read moreproperly installed. Had to plead with the new owner to honor the warranty. They sent someone out which only partially corrected the problem. They would not send them out again so we hired a third party to investigate and correct. They did a better job but still not perfect. We owned it 3 years when it started leaking around the door seals and ruining our wood flooring. Being an engineer and used to working on cars and other things I removed it and inspected it to find the door seals were deteriorated along the bottom. I showed my wife and we decided to cut our losses and buy a new unit from Costco. Purchased a Kitchenaid after reading the reviews and decided that we were not going to spend over $1K for a dishwasher (Bosch). Costco is the way to go IMHO. Delivery was on time. Installer was pleasant and skilled. He had it installed and working in less than an hour. This is the second time we replaced an appliance with a purchase from Costco. Their prices are great and they extend the warranty to 2 years. Whatever you do don't buy from Lynn Cunningham because it's not the same as it was.

The work took around an hour - needed new bearing wheels and belt, and showed me that the noise was likely coming from a metal object that had gotten stuck in there somehow (dryer is about 10+ years old). And, the larger companies seem to only be able to provide a day, and then don't give a window until the evening before, if they even fit in the window. After three failed attempts with a more "well-known" company, I finally gave up and began a new search. Online, Jason gets great reviews for his knowledge, responsiveness, and fair pricing. For me, I always look for an owner operator, and will generally move on once an owner "migrates" away from being an operator in the field. Jason actually answered his phone when I called, gave me a range of days/times that worked well, and then followed up. While he isn't the guy that came out, the other guy has been working with him for a few years, was friendly, knowledgeable, and diagnosed the issue with my leaking washing machine within a few minutes. Fat-forward to a couple of days later: the machine leaked again, so I called them back. They came back out at no charge to see if they could re-diagnose, but no issue was found. Since then, it hasn't leaked again. I threw the guy some $$$ for making the trip back out, mostly because his attitude was still positive and they weren't going to charge for the travel. Bottom line, a fantastic first experience with JB Appliance, and I'll happily recommend them to all of my clients and colleagues.

This place is a literal joke -preciously I have given them good reviews but my negative experience…read morehad been building over the last year and I have waited to post a review in hopes that they would make things right but never did -when I first used this company they were responsive, fast, affordable, and nice. Cut to a little over a year ago when we had them replace our entire HVAC system -as soon as that job was done we were having issues with the air and Donald told us he was moving to North Carolina and closing his business so there wasn't much they could do -they did seem to fix whatever was going on but we've heard a "buzzing" sound in the walls every time the air kicks on since and Donald shrugged his shoulders and said "it's probably something electrical" then about a month ago our heat stopped working -we called Thin Air since they were still listed as a business and we should have a warranty with them -Donald (who moved to North Carolina) answered the phone and sent Dominic out about 7 hours later -Dominic said he "did some things to make it turn back on" but suggested we add more vents to the house. I asked Dominic about Donald and he said that he (Dominic) actually own the business now and Donald was here visiting and "helping" him then Dominic asked for payment even though we had a warranty-two days ago our heat went out again -we called and guess who answered-Donald-and he was nice until we gave him the address-Donald said he'd send someone out by the end of the day and no one ever came and they didn't answer any of our calls after that. Bottom line -these dudes are SHADY AF -BEWARE!

I hired them again for two other…read moreprojects.  One of them was done quickly.  The second project has been outstanding with work half done for 5 months.  Each time I call, Donald has a different excuse.-my work vehicle broke down-my wife left me-my dad is really sick, I am sick and I just got out of the hospital.-my wife took my kids, I am going through a hard time.-its on my schedule, we will be out there to finish it up Sunday (this occurred twice).-in a text, his daughter said Donald was in the hospital but will surely get the crew to finish up....... At this point, I do not believe anything they have to say.  The court will have to resolve this.
