Don't bother unless you enjoy getting screwed. Albert Lee provides good customer service during the buying process all the way through until you receive your appliances, and they have their money, then all bets are off. I bought a range hood that turns out was not for a lower ceiling application. At no time was I asked the height of my ceiling during the sales process. When my contractor found it was not going to work, they were contacted and because he had installed just the inner skeleton of the hood they would not even exchange it OR refund half my money less a 50% restocking fee. This was after I had purchased a whole kitchen worth of appliances from them. Albert Lee does not value their customers nor do they care if they earn return business. read more

We just purchased a washer/dryer from them. A few months ago we purchased a refrigerator so we're repeat customers. We knew what we needed and Mike gave us a no pressure, knowledgeable experience. Everthing was upfront and as agreeded to. Delivery was exceptional. We got an email giving us a 90 minute delivery window. Tristen was in charge and he went out of his way to make sure nothing was damaged. They had to bring a stackable washer/dryer down from the second floor, then carry the new one up. Think they had a half inch clearance. The hoses and vent were installed, then both units were run to make sure they functioned. Tristen then made sure we had the manual, and forms. Last he took time to make sure we were satisfied. Tonight the campany gave us a follow-up call to insure they had everything right. Good, professional service. read more

Love this place. Went in to get a dual fuel range, microhood and dishwasher. I was shown an electric induction stove - I don't need to plumb gas in!!! So helpful, I talked with their office a few days later, always nice, very customer oriented. Delivery info emailed to me with options - easy!! Delivery time 9:30 -11, they showed up about 9:50 and polite, thoughtful delivery men. Are they a tad more expensive than the big box stores? Maybe. But they know their stuff. I bought a washer and dryer set with matching pedestals less than two years ago. Unfortunately a month ago the washer door started having a problem. So knowing I paid for a five year maintenance program I called for a repair. The repair company came out found door was default. But also let me know how well I kept machine etc. He left said he would order parts. Unfortunately a few days later they called and said the parts to a machine less than two years old were not available anymore. So after spending over two thousand dollars on my dream set they tell me I have to take a new machine won't match etc. and on top of that after only less then two years on a five year warranty than won't refund or transfer to new machine. Then they tell me they won't sell me a new maintenance program on new machine. Ok gets better new machine was told me it would fit my pedestal. Ok didn't match was over 2 inches in difference from pedestal also my dream washer and dryer don't match and I still owe on the broken one. I feel so cheated from Albert lee. My husband and I stopped at Albert Lee Appliance to look at new washers and dryers. Our 20+ yo washing machine would no longer spin. We made it clear we were there to look, which we had done both on the internet and in the store, but we had questions. She walked over to the w/d area with us and said we wouldn't like any of what they had but two. I had never heard of one the two brands and only vaguely of the second. When I asked a question about any of the others that were for sale, she said, "You won't like it!" Strangely, she was trying to sell a washing machine to my husband, not to me. She listened attentively to him, and rudely cut me off. It was hard to tell whether she wanted to over sell us something, or not sell us anything at all. We both said "Wow" when we got out to our car...glad to leave, and none the wiser. Actually, it was at your Bellevue store. I then called Thompson Appliance Repair who have serviced any appliance repairs for me. They come to Olympia twice a week. The woman I talked with gave me the name of a salesperson at the Tacoma store to help us. We plan to go there tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. read more

I purchased about $12,000 worth of appliances from Albert Lee from 2016 - 2019. I consistently work with Scott Bradley for all my purchases. I bought an entire kitchen suite of Kitchen Aid appliances and paid for them in full in May of this year. Scott advised that I was eligible for a $600 rebate based on what I purchased but that I had to wait to take delivery to send in for my rebate because I needed to include the serial numbers. I took delivery in September 2019 and immediately went online and applied for my rebate. In fact, the delivery people told me that Scott asked them to remind me that it was now time to apply for my rebates. They even wrote it on my delivery sheet. My rebate was denied by Kitchen Aid, stating that I did not send in my rebate form on time. I immediately called Kitchen Aid to understand why I was being denied and they explained that I needed to send in my rebate forms by August 2019 and would then need to follow up with sending in the serial numbers when I took delivery. . I let them know that I followed the direction of my sales person who repeated informed me that I could not apply for the rebate until the appliances were delivered. Kitchen Aid would not budge so I contacted the store manager at Albert Lee. I spoke with Susan, who told me about the same rules as Kitchen Aid explained. I told her I fully understood the rules - NOW. However, I was unaware of that rule based on the direction of her store employee. She asked why I did not read the form. I explained that Scott told me I could not send it in until after delivery so what would prompt me to read through an attachment when I was following his direction? Susan went to Kitchen Aid and asked them to honor it. They refused. She then told me that Albert Lee would make it right. Today I got a message from Scott Bradley that they are only willing to give me a portion of the $600. That is unacceptable. When I've given them $12,000 and followed exactly what they told me to do, I should not be the one to get short changed. Albert Lee lacks integrity and I will never buy anything from them ever again. 11/14/2019 I am very happy to report that Michael Hoag from Seattle Albert Lee made everything right. With having our 18 month old washer die on us just a week from moving out of state..... you can imagine the panic and position that we were in. Then add to the situation that the washer and dryer had to be disassembled in the mud room preventing access to the garage. I had called this store AHEAD of time during off hours and left my contact info and what I needed. Little did I know that Cliff had called back as soon as the store had opened with the price of a new machine. We were doing a garage sale that day and I didn't pick up his message. I called back later that morning and spoke to Susan. She answered all of my questions and we agreed that I would come into the store to purchase a new washer that day. She requested that I ask for Cliff as he was the one that had returned my call. With two hours I showed up at their store, was greeted professionally by Cliff. He took me straight to the machine that didn't cost an arm and a leg and that would suit our needs. He answered all of my questions and respected that I needed this washer delivered ASAP. I had the washer delivered and installed within three days!!!! I can't speak more highly of Susan, Cliff and the two delivery guys that made all of this happen within such a short time frame. The washer was a good price, the professional service that I received from everyone was excellent and the installers knew what they were doing. Over a year ago we purchased all new appliances for our home remodel. The salesman was very nice and helpful. We upgraded our appliances after being told they would arrive faster due to supply chain shortage. We received our fridge, cook top and microwave however our dishwasher and double oven were on back order. After waiting patiently for over a year and being told they might not arrive we looked on line with Home Depot. Ordered the double oven through them and it arrived 2 weeks later. Dishwasher never arrived so again we ordered through Home Depot it arrived a few weeks later. When I called to cancel my order with Albert Lee they informed that the Dishwasher is in stock but they forgot to inform us. The refund process was very easy I just wish communication was better. We should not have to follow up with them on when appliances are being delivered. After spending over 14K on new appliances I feel we should of had better communication. I would never recommend Albert Lee due to the stressed caused by the lack of communication. read more

Spent $700 on a dishwasher that was not my first choice. My first choice did not arrive, so salesperson called and talked me into a KitchenAid. Needless to say, as we approach the end of it's second year, it's a dud. I had to have the top rack mechanism changed. My repair person said it's not a surprise that a repair was needed, as Kitchen Aid had a full package available for the repair. Defective. Now, it appears that something else is needed. We needed a new dishwasher. We went to a big box store and were disappointed with their lack of product knowledge. Someone suggested I try Albert Lee Appliance which I did. The moment I walked into their Tacoma, WA store, I knew I had made the right decision. I was warmly greeted and a knowledgeable salesperson, Elaine Debolt, showed us the dishwasher we had wanted. She explained everything and answered our questions. We did not feel pressured. The next day we went to the warehouse to pick up the dishwasher. They were not able to get it into our car, so the man asked me where I lived. He said we was going right by there on his way to another appointment, so he delivered the dishwasher to my home within an hour. We returned to this retail store three days later with questions about operating this dishwasher. Elaine Debolt was again very helpful and courteous. I am so pleased with Albert Lee Appliance in Tacoma and I will definitely shop for future purchased at this retail store. They have my highest regards. read more

I have been a very happy customer of Albert Lee for all of my appliance needs on several of my homes, for many years. However more recently, I purchased a beverage fridge for my master bedroom closet and two stackable washer/dryer sets for my most recent remodel project at my home. I was convinced by Albert Lee sales staff to purchase these items at a sale back in November for a project that was still in the framing phase (I thoroughly explained this to the sales person as I was shopping for the appliances to get the rough-in dimensions to my contractors). At the time of purchase, nothing was disclosed to me regarding the fact that all these items needed to be delivered and installed by the end of November. However when it was time to schedule delivery, I was basically forced to take delivery of these items way before the house was ready. When the appliances were delivered, they were left at the house and were not fully installed (because as I made clear to Albert Lee, the house was nowhere near ready). In addition to this, I was charged for the installation. Now that the home is finally complete and ready for the final installation, I made contact with Albert Lee to see if they will come out to complete my appliance installation. I was basically told that the installation was already completed and that they do not do re-service. As someone who has been a repeat customer of Albert Lee for many years mostly due to past experiences of exceptional customer service, I am very disappointed with my most recent experience. I fear that something has changed regarding this companies customer service policies and this is why I write this review in order to caution future customers. read more

Walk in checking out dishwashers and before we even got to the section we had a salesman showing us the way. He was very genuine and full of information that helped us realize what we ultimately wanted in a dishwasher. When we realized they were all out of our budget he took us into the back warehouse and showed us the huge array of appliances that are not prime. some are displays or returned items. We found what we wanted and at the price we could afford. It was shrink wrapped and loaded into our vehicle that night after we did the paperwork. We asked about install and they gave us the number to Appliance Hospital. Check out my review on them. In addition the salesman gave me a fitting for the water intake on the dishwasher. Very positive and short experience with the sales staff. I will go back and look at more of the lower priced items in the back section of the warehouse. read more

Recently purchased a microwave over cook-top model. Cliff Birdsall helped us. He was very helpful. Did not try to up-sell us. Told us upfront that delivery was about 3 weeks due to end of year sales, but said could be earlier with a delivery cancellation. The next day we got a call to reschedule in a few days. The delivery was scheduled for between 2:30 and 4:00. The phone rang at 2:30 and the delivery person Amos said he was at the front door. Amos delivered and installed the microwave. He was very careful not to damage anything and cleaned up after he was through. We are very happy with service start to finish at Albert Lee. We will buy our next appliance from them. read more

The salesperson that we dealt with over a year ago now, seemed knowledgeable and was very well versed in sales. We had to wait a couple months for our appliances: fridge, stove, dishwasher and hood to be delivered but we knew this in advance and were very happy with the delivery team. This review is on the BEKO appliances that we were sold. We were told that they were excellent products... but they have been anything but. We were drawn by the clean/cafe look and simplicity. The stove does not get or hold at accurate temperatures. It is a dial so I didn't expect it to be right on but I expected close. After my baking results changed significantly, i bought a temperature gauge and found the oven is very difficult to get an accurate temperature setting from. Sometimes is 25° under, sometimes over. It's been a nightmare as I love to bake and I have basically given up on my big baking projects. The dishwasher is complete junk. It's flimsy inside, one arm bent, the dividers fold.... Programming makes no sense and I have never had a load come out dry. It is junk. The fridge is okay but not great. The sealing rubber broke almost immediately. The side panel isn't uniform in color, looks cheap and blotchy. The top isn't flat, there is a large metal plate on top that sticks up making storage hard. I do love the ice maker and drawer but that is it. Steer clear of BEKO and don't be sold on how it's a top selling European brand... hugely popular in New York... sales garbage. It's been a huge mistake for us. read more

Being displaced Sears Kenmore customers, we were looking for a new appliance shop to establish ourselves with as customers when our dryer died. Their sales representative, Elaine, showed us several models and pointed out their highlights. She was very courteous. Albert Lee appliance carries two of the most reliable brands available; Speed Queen and LG. We selected a Speed Queen dryer on Monday, and they were able to deliver it on Wednesday. Their installers made sure the dryer was leveled, hooked up to the electric feed, and even did a test run before they left. We received excellent service and are wholly satisfied. I have had such good experiences with this store. I live in Olympia and drive to this Albert Lee. They won me over about 6 months ago. I bought a house, and all of my appliances from Home Depot and Lowes. I had a manufacture issue with my stove, and neither HD or Whirlpool would help. I fought with them for months, trying to get the issue resolved, but they were resistant. After that, I swore I would never buy appliances from the big box stores again. My spouse and I drove up to Albert Lee to by a new stove. They won me over. In two days, I had a new stove in my house. The salesman, Cliff, was very helpful. The delivery guys are awesome and very professional. The price was better than the big box stores too. My stove is great and makes me happy to cook! Just this last month, I became a repeat customer. My old, ghetto microwave finally hit the dust, and I was tempted to buy from the local big box stores because of sales. I window shopped while I was there for other things. Decided on a model, and could find NO ONE to help. I was standing around for 20 mins waiting on someone. I walked out of the store, annoyed on end, and sat in my car and called Albert Lee. In less than 10 minutes, Susan had a microwave on order for me that would be available later that evening. I selected to drive up to Tacoma to get it since I was heading that way anyway for another errand. They deliver for free over $300, and my microwave cost less than that, and since I was going that way anyway.... This Albert Lee beat the big box stores by over $40. Susan was very nice. Her boss got my microwave for me and put it in my car. He said if I had any issue, to call him personally. I was stupid for even considering the big box store again. The GE refrigerator they delivered was dented on one of the front doors and the other door handle was missing a screw! It is now two weeks later and the GE repair person just arrived, but Albert Lee never ordered the parts! So another day wasted. Now GE is supposed to order the parts. So very disappointed. Two and one half years ago, we bought a fancy new Kitchenaid refrigerator with two pull out doors with a large freezer below with two pull out trays. Each part had a different expiration date for the warranty. Unfortunately, we did not do our homework and read about all the negative reviews on this model. It would have been great customer service if the woman who helped us, who was helpful and informative in every other way, had pushed the extended warranty a little harder by telling us the history of break downs in these computerized models. The repairman who tried to fix it, by replacing each of the three computerized panels on the back, said he would never buy one of these models. It's best to get a simple, no frills model. we went to albert lee to get a dishwasher because our kitchen aid, after only four years, died. elaine was personable, seemed knowledgeable and pointed us toward a deko, which seems to be perfect for our needs.......now i'm wondering if she, maybe forgot to sell the hose kit that we have had to buy with every other dishwasher. we liked elaine and she took our time with us......even if delivery and install is 4 weeks out, which i kind of find a little excessive ....but so be it. so far, the purchase went smoothly and elaine went out of her way to be helpful. we'll have to call today to make sure we bought everything necessary, so install goes smoothly. read more

This review is specific to the customer service in this store - we haven't gotten our appliances yet (by choice). This was our first ever experience with appliance shopping, and we were thrilled. Our sales guy, Robert Grey, was so awesome I wish we had more stuff to buy! He helped us find a beautiful set of kitchen appliances that we feel great about spending our money on. We were extremely impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly he was- he was honest with his opinion on everything from the quality of an item to how it would look in our new kitchen. I expected to feel rushed or pushed for a sale but never once got that impression. He was patient with all of our questions and gave us his full attention. Purchased an over range microwave and Cliff immediately came to wait on us and answer any questions we may have had. He was very knowledgeable in regards to the unit we were interested in. He provided competitive pricing as good as the big box home improvement stores. He completed the transaction and provided us with a reasonable day for pickup. Pickup process was very simple, walked in they immediately looked up the order, brought the unit out and walked it out to the parking lot and loaded it.
