Not recommend!! I was really disappointed on Albert Lee's service. My fridge was leaking since January, 2021. I called in for a fix, and waited for several weeks until the handy man came. However, the fridge was still leaking after the repair. I reached out to Albert Lee again (had to make several calls until they sent the repair guy), the handyman came again, but the fridge was still leaking. When I call them in August, they said they r helping me connecting manufacturing/ appliance hospital for a replacement. But nothing heard from them. I called them as follow up recently, they told me my warranty expired in July and they can do nothing for me. They never fix this tiny leaking issue for me even during the warranty period. I was so disappointed for their service (especially Maggie at customer service, really rude, interrupt me lot of times and always saying that's not of their responsibility). I don't know what to do with my leaking fridge (bought last July and leaking since January) - I turned the water valve off and the fridge is frozen inside and cannot be used properly. Albert Lee, if you can see this review, and if you take customer at your first place (instead of just taking money from us), please provide some help. Walked in one weekend to start researching appliances for our upcoming kitchen renovation. Teresa Mazariego assisted us and I'm so glad she did - she spent at least an hour walking us through different options, patiently explaining pros and cons, really listening to what mattered to us, and giving her honest opinion without trying to upsell us. She even found us a few deals, saving us close to $1,000 on a full package. She didn't push us to buy or decide right away, but gave us all the info to think about and let us know she'd hold the deal prices for a week. We went to the Bellevue location to give this location a try. We initially called and spoke with a sales person who was going to meet us there but he called us saying he switched shifts. Once there a salesperson, Ted Biery helped us out. We had gone there with the intention on buying a certain washer and dryer, he showed us the model we had looked at on reviews and other models as well. He took the time to show us the differences on models and features. He helped us past closing time and we eventually picked out a set after looking at reviews. The set we picked out was in shock at the factory and had to be shipped up because of the current covid conditions, applications are hard to come by right now, had a great experience with Ted. About 5 days later our refrigerator went out after a power outage, we immediately called Ted back and went to see him after work. These were even harder to find in stock. We were there for 3 1/2 hours looking at different options and styles. We found 2 different ones but not in stock. Ted made a couple of phone calls and the the we both really liked he found brand new still in the box, no floor model, bought it on the spot. Ted was able to combine the 2 different orders into 1 delivery. The pricing, availability, scheduling of delivery, great salesperson and overall experience was outstanding, highly recommend Ted Biery. The delivery personnel called me on the day of delivery and showed up early, Dustin and July were the 2 delivery personnel, they came in and scoped out the situation first and then had myself come out to verify that none of the appliances were damaged first before removing our current appliances. They both did a outstanding job of removing the old appliances and installing the new appliances and making sure everything worked like it supposed to. All in all this was a painless experience and my wife and myself will definitely be going back to Albert Lee Appliances for any future purchases. This was a really tough experience all the way through. The salesperson was very pleasant to speak with but the information we were given regarding our order changed almost daily. After enough frustration, we were able to upgrade our units to meet the original installation time frame. Albert lee advertised that installation was included however, when they arrived there were members that the drivers could not connect because it was outside their job description. The delivery crew left the door off the hinges, a roll of wet paper towels around the floor and a bloody towel on the new appliance. We reached out and requested that the installation be completed correctly and were told they are not responsible. Delivery drivers did follow all covid protocol, except for the blood of course. read more

Our 17 year old refrigerator was finally on its last legs and we went back to Albert Lee Appliance to get a replacement, being served by Jan Nina, who spent a great deal of time with us, as we were returning customers. She showed us options that met our needs and did not try to upsell us. In fact, our purchase was much less than others and had a rebate to boot!!! She patiently answered all our questions. We made our choice before leaving, letting her know we needed to get it sooner than later. Less than a week later, it was sitting in our kitchen after yeoman services from Chris and Liam, which included a tricky navigation through our backyard and into our house, as well as locating interior waterlines and shut-off valves. We have bought a bunch of appliances from Albert Lee over the years, most recently a washing machine and that process was fine and easy. Getting good information about when it would be delivered has been challenging. We are now on our second day for a delivery appointment and the staff has not been helpful in determining when it will be delivered. Very frustrating dealing with them on this issue. Beware that the delivery process seems to be complicated and not reliable. read more

Albert Lee has gotten too big for their own good. They carry great products but once the sale is made there is no follow through. I recently bought an entire household full of appliances. The main delivery was supposed to include set up of the washer dryer. They came with no stacking kit (which they never asked how the 'stackable' washer dryer was to be set up) so they couldn't set it up. A second delivery was for a discount item (hence why they came separately). Despite repeated emails and phone messages Albert Lee insisted on delivering it to my house while I was at work saying, "that is the only day our delivery guys work that neighborhood". They wound up leaving it on my neighbor's porch which created a whole new set of hassles. I'm not saying don't buy from AL. But be sure as hell to communicate with them, because they sure wont with you. read more

After 15 years of service, our dishwasher died right before the busy holiday season. We read reviews, contacted service people, and asked friends who had recently bought dishwashers. Our first stop were the big box stores thinking they would have the best prices, but we found the service unacceptable. Desperate, we stopped in Albert Lee anticipating high prices and pushy salespeople. We could not have been more wrong. Constance expertly guided us through our choices and was completely transparent about both price and availability. She let us know that the installers were backed up, but she would do her best to fit us into any opening. Success!! Within just a few days installation was expertly provided by an in house service professional. We could not be more pleased with our experience and recommend Albert Lee with no hesitation. read more

After my dishwasher died, I ordered a Bosch dishwasher from Albert Lee; the experience was excellent, from shopping, to interacting with the sales associate, to delivery, installation, and removal of the old appliance. Speaking to the sales associate on the phone, he was careful to mention that Albert Lee is unable to hook up to PVC and stayed on the line while I verified that the hookup would not be to PVC. Everything was done professionally, pleasantly, and efficiently The gentleman who did the delivery was fast, professional, friendly, careful, and took the time to explain the dishwasher functions as well as verify the connections as solid and without leaks. I will be keeping Albert Lee in mind for future needs and have no trouble recommending them. read more

My family ordered a new induction range from Albert Lee, when the unit was delivered we discovered a dent in the unit and asked for a replacement - no problem. A new undamaged unit was ordered and shipped within a reasonable time frame. I was an awful customer and there was a misunderstanding on my end when the unit was to be delivered, I was away from my home when I got the call the delivery truck was at my place - I rushed home in rush hour traffic and was late for the delivery but Jerry and Ben were really cool about my mistake and waited patiently for me even though I missed my drop off appointment. Really great guys. I felt so bad, this company hires great employees and the service is great. read more

I ordered a Bosch Series 500 in November 2021. I paid for it and installation in full at that time. They told me they would have the unit in February 2022, but didn't have an install appointment until March. In March they didn't have the unit and scheduled me for June 2022. In June 2022, they cancelled that appointment; Bosch 500 still backordered. It's August 25, 2022 and I have no dishwasher. When I inquired about it this week, I was told by Rebecca that I'm on standby and scheduled for September 23, 2022. You think I'm going to get my dishwasher? I don't! read more

We purchased an Electrolux laundry pair with a condenser dryer in July 2023. The condenser dryer is not yet very common in the US, but it is nearly 100% of dryers sold in Europe. They run cooler and are easier on your clothes, in addition to being more energy efficient.  We were excited with our choice, our sales person was Palmer at the Elliott location in Seattle.  We had given away our previous units to make way for the new ones just days before delivery, then learned that delivery was delayed because they apparently didn't have a stacking kit in stock. I asked Palmer if they could at least deliver the washer and we could hang dry for the time being and I was told there would be another $75 charge to do so.  After about 2 1/2 weeks the machines finally showed up and were installed.  I asked the installers specifically about the dryer connection since it is not common here.  He showed me the drain hose from the dryer going to the drain.  Great!  In operation the dryer seemed fickle at best.  It would generate heat sometimes, but not always.  Then about two weeks later it stopped and told me to empty the reservoir.  I thought that was strange since it was installed to drain straight out.  I opened the drawer that holds the water reservoir (this is used if you cannot direct drain the unit) and it was FULL. Curious and frustrating.  I contacted Palmer but while waiting for a reply, my very handy husband looked on the internet (they never gave us a manual for the dryer) and noted that while the tube was put into the drain, it was never connected to the condenser through a forked tube at the top so the water was going to the reservoir.  He fixed this and I informed Palmer that their installers had no idea what they were doing. The dryer continued to be fickle.  And I contacted Palmer about it. He coordinated with the Appliance Hospital to come to service it.  This was October.  The tech said the machine was leaning backward and hence the moisture sensors were not contacting the clothes and it was not heating. Another problem caused by incompetent installers. The dryer seems to work a bit better, but still sometimes takes all day to dry a load.  I reached back out and the Appliance Hospital tech came back and said he was going to order new parts that he would need to set another appointment for.  He comes back in another week and installs the parts.  This is roughly December at this point.  He said if this didn't fix it, then we should just ask for a replacement.  This did not solve the problem. I reached back out to Palmer at Albert Lee in February asking about options for replacements.  He said they would now send a factory tech out to assess the situation.  That tech came out and spent a solid couple of hours here and in the end ordered a whole new motherboard for the dryer.  He said he would have it shipped to us and come back to install it.  Three weeks later he came back, spent another two hours and finally declared the machine dead.  He said to reach out to Albert Lee for a replacement/refund. This is now March 2024.   I reach out to Palmer and tell him the situation.  He says he needs to send this to the customer service team to handle.  It takes another week and a phone call to the Customer service manager Jim to explain that we A) don't want another set of Electroluxs as long as we live; and B) We need the whole set replaced even though the washer works because they are stacked.  We finally get a return authorization and go shopping for a new pair.  We asked Albert Lee for some sort of compensation toward our new laundry set for the 7 days that we have waited with 4 hour windows for service and delivery and the 7 months of not having a properly working dryer.  Nada.  They say that the Miele pair are price protected and they cannot offer a discount.  Final straw.  We decided to not purchase our replacements from Albert Lee but ask for a full refund and for them to please come pick up the pair.  Palmer executes that order and I see two problems. First, the credit card we used 7 months ago is not the one we are currently using so can we have the refund credited to a different card? Palmer says, no, but we can give you a check. Fine.  Second, the refund was missing the stacking kit and installed items totalling ~$250 and I asked for a full refund...not just the machines. I am now contacted by someone in the business office that has processed the return back to the card that I asked them not to use.  They tell me that the customer needs to request that a refund be handled differently.  To which I send them my email making that specific request.   They then say that they saw my email with Palmer, but that they don't write checks and the refund apparently went through to the old card. End of conversation.  Can't make this stuff up.  It was at this point I decided to take the time to write an honest thorough review.  Now I have to go to a credit card company to try to get them to mail me a check. read more

Our new dishwasher arrived on April 1st (no joke!) and was professionally installed by Albert Lee's certified installation crew. It is a Fisher Paykel double dishdrawer and was installed and tested before they left. They removed the older version of the same model and left the house in pristine condition. I was looking to replace my old dishwasher and found a rebate offer from Lowes for the cost of basic installation. I bring it to my sales' (Shane Tew) attention and he said he can match it with instant rebate. I took the picture of how the plumbing looks like under the sink and share my existing dishwasher model to make sure the replacement will fit. We decided on a Bosch dishwasher to replace my existing dishwasher, he took my credit card info, and we schedule the install date. The installer came promptly on agreed date/time. That's where the good part end. When the installer came in, he come and measure and told me the dishwasher I ordered will not fit where it was and I need a ADA compliance dishwasher (slightly under 34 inch tall). He also mentioned that I have CPVC plumbing and Albert Lee will no longer install any appliance with CPVC plumbing. I wasn't happy with that and asked him that this is an easily preventable situation. The installer apologize and told me the salesperson should have asked the questions. When I called my sales, he said that "in my 15 years of experience, I never knew KitchenAid dishwasher have different measurement than Bosch". Guess what, the KitchenAid sold ADA dishwasher. He also mentioned that they stopped installing appliance in the house with CPVC plumbing. I wasn't happy because the offer from Lowes already expired, so if I were to buy it from Lowes, I will not qualify for the rebate offer. He told me that even Lowes will not install appliance in house with CPVC plumbing. He also told me from the picture I shared, there is no way to tell it was CPVC plumbing until the installer remove the dishwasher. I bring it to his attention that the installer never remove the dishwasher and able to determine I have CPVC plumbing (and I know that I have CPVC plumbing - I wish he asked me that). I called a friend of mine who is a plumber and he told me he install dishwasher for Lowes. He also said he will install it in CPVC plumbing. When I called Shane and ask him that Lowes will install and I was unhappy that I missed the offer, he just told me "maybe I should refund your payment tomorrow" (I am surprised he held my money for 10 days and not refund it right away). He also told me just be careful when installing the appliance with CPVC plumbing. No apology that I missed the deal from Lowes. I am very very disappointed with his attitude. I guess the search for replacement will continue, unfortunately it won't be from Albert Lee. I will recommend everyone to avoid Albert Lee due to their irresponsible attitude. read more

Insanely disappointing group to work with. During the supply chain problems we were convinced to buy early and simply store our appliances in our garage while we were waiting for our remodel to get done. As you know all of that takes time especially during Covid. Unfortunately one of the smaller appliances wouldn't work in the remodel and Albert Lee refuse to take it back. I was actually planning on buying more appliances from them, because we needed a replacement and another refrigerator perhaps even a built-in barbecue. These guys just threw away another $15,000 worth of sales and I'll tell everyone how poorly they treat good customers. read more

UPDATED: I had written a more beefy followup but it was removed. The GM made things right - so improving this review from 1 to 4 stars. A more experienced install team was sent out that was able to fix things without shutting off any water, and a discount was offered which I appreciate. Thank you to the GM and Sales Manager for rectifying the situation. ---- Our washer/dryer finally started having issues, so we decided on upgrading and going with a Miele. Albert Lee was one of their vendors, so we figured we'd give them a shot. Placed an order for washer/dryer over the phone, for a total of about $4500 and install was scheduled. The salesperson was responsive and communicative over e-mail. Everything went downhill during the install. I wasn't expecting Harry and Lloyd to show up. First they were about 2 hrs late, complaining about how much work they have to do and how Albert Lee doesn't pay them enough. They looked at our old appliances which they had to remove, and said Miele is overrated, and we have a perfectly good old unit. Look - I know washer and dryers and heavy and it's not pleasant to move them. That's why you're being paid for it and not me. Then they said they didn't "trust" the water shutoff valve since it was rattling. Yeah, the builder may have not torqued them down to your liking, but they function just fine. But then they tried to find the water shutoff for the whole house. My wife showed it to him on the street, as we're in a townhouse complex. And the installer briefly debated shutting off the water for our whole townhouse complex because reading meter numbers is hard. But eventually he didn't want to touch it since there were "spiders". Look, it's spider season in Seattle. If you have arachnophobia - find a new line of work. Lord almighty. We followed up with Albert Lee to send a new install team. But then they tried to throw the blame on us saying the water shutoff couldn't be located - even though THEIR OWN INSTALLERS found it, and just were scared of a few creepy crawlies. When paying close to $5k, I expect more effort from the installation experience than that. Fortunately Albert Lee isn't the only Miele dealer in town - we'll take our business elsewhere. read more

Shady salesman, Nicholas Eddy, didn't mention that the dishwasher needed to be installed with a plug outlet. Ours was hardwired, so when the installers arrived we got hit with an unexpected $150 charge for making an outlet. We could either return it and waste another week or eat the cost. Called Albert Lee and asked if they could at least reimburse the cost for wasting our time. He flatly refused. I've bought two other appliances from them, but because of this experience I'm never stepping into an Albert Lee again. So disgusted and LIVID that they would treat a repeat customer like this. read more

I just want to buy a water filter for my Miele refrigerator, which I bought from Albert Lee, along with my Miele dishwasher, and along with my Miele gas range, and along with my Miele washer and dryer, and along with my microwave. Not in stock but I can come in and pay for it there and then fight the Ballard traffic and go to the warehouse to pick it up. Not very customer service friendly when they could have it delivered to the store and I could come in and pay for it and pick it then. Really disappointing. read more

A friend recommended Albert Lee for our washer and dryer purchase and I'm so glad we went here instead of a big national chain. We walked in later in the day and were helped almost immediately. Everyone was masked up and the experience felt safe. We have a lot of space restrictions in our laundry closet, but Ryan helped us weigh our options and provided all the info we needed to make a decision. Delivery was scheduled just a few days out and includes taking away our old appliances. The only downside is, when the installers came, they found they couldn't unhook our existing washer without a plumber (not their fault), so we had to reschedule the delivery. It took several voicemails and an email to get someone to reschedule, and the new date was 2 weeks out! read more

We have purchased many appliances over the years from Albert Lee. Typically the sales process is good. Some sales people seem more educated & helpful than others - but I've never had a poor browsing or sales experience. However, everything after the sale has sucked. Their installation times are weeks out, it's not free (despite what their on-hold message & advertisements say) & "customer service" is really just a go-between with whatever service company is authorized by the manufacturers. As far as I can tell, they interface with Appliance Service Station & once they have handed you off to them, they don't proactively manage the process at all. I assume that since I purchased through Albert Lee that I should always communicate through them so they have a record of any warranty issues. But they often just tell me to call Appliance Service Station directly & at one point with an on-going freezer issue, they gave me an 800 number to the manufacturer when I had waited months & had several appointments with no resolution. It was my phone calls to the manufacturer that finally lead me to getting a replacement. According to them, they had no records of anything from Albert Lee nor Appliance Service Station. Every time, Albert Lee tells me they will call the warranty provider. Then I hear nothing. So I call Albert Lee back. Albert Lee acts surprised when I say I haven't been contacted. Then I immediately get a call (from Appliance Service Station.) Unfortunately their service is worse, I won't repeat that review here. We were without a refrigerator for 2+ months. And throughout the process of troubleshooting, ordering parts, re-ordering parts - both Albert Lee & Appliance Service Station were uncommunicative. I had to call to follow up every time. I would call Albert Lee then Appliance Service Station directly - and no matter who I spoke with - everyone would say, "so and so didn't call you? that is so weird..." OR there would be some excuse about someone being out sick, a computer problem, something that happened that day, blah blah blah. I have raised my concerns about their warranty service & they simply say they have no control because they don't select the warranty service people (the manufacturer does.) So now my BRAND NEW oven is broken. Appliance #3 this year - GOOD TIMES. I can say with full confidence I will not be purchasing any appliances in the future from them. Maybe it won't be better with another company, but I just can't give this company any more $$. (Although I probably will have to give them more $$ because I'm assuming it's my only option for extending my warranties.) Apparently everyone is super busy, so I guess business is good. Theydon't have much competition and we (customers) are all accepting that this is how it all has to work, which is sad, but I guess it's just the way it is. read more

We bought two appliances over the phone after selecting what we wanted online. That was easy enough. Then we waited for a delivery date. They were booked out a few weeks, but we were not in a hurry. We later had a problem with one of the appliances - and that's where their true colors came though. It took 16 days, repeated calls to them, and empty promises of "we'll call you back tomorrow". Ended up speaking with 6 different people, pretty much whoever was on duty at the time. No one took responsibility, no one followed through. They just kept deferring it to the next person we spoke with. Very bad customer service. They've gotten too big, and uncaring. Not like the old days. read more

I would rate them lower than one star if I could. This has been one of the worst service experiences of my life, and at 55 years old that's saying a lot. Last year we ordered a Zephyr range hood at the Elliott Ave W store in Seattle. We also bought a 36" Fisher & Paykel stove/oven and a drink fridge. All in all, we spent more than $5,000 with them. When the range hood was delivered last March (2022) it remained in the box until it was installed in May. Our contractors installed it but they and we didn't notice until after the installation that there was a significant dent in the top middle of the hood. When we called Albert Lee about it, they informed us that because it had been installed already they could not do anything for us because they couldn't confirm that the dent wasn't already there prior to installation. We told them that it was already there, but our word was not good enough for them. Despite talking to multiple levels of management at Albert Lee, they dug their heels in and said there was nothing they could do for us, while getting progressively more rude with each level of management. It was such an awful experience that I told them that I would never return to their store again, and that I would strongly urge all of our friends and acquaintances to do the same, as they did not really value full customer service. Fast forward to this year. We kept the hood, despite the dent, but now realized that it's not really sucking any smoke from the stove top up through the vent. Every time we cook our house fills with smoke and we have to open windows and doors and manually direct smoke out of our house. Our contractor confirmed that the vent to the outside was open and functional, but when we tested the hood itself realized that, despite it's making a lot of noise, it wasn't really sucking any smoke into it. We tested it with a single match, and not even that amount of smoke got sucked in. So, I called the Albert Lee service department today (reluctantly because of our previous terrible experience) and spoke with Jason. I told him about the situation and he very tersely informed me that our hood was past the one-year warranty and there was nothing they could do for us. He gave me the manufacturer's phone number and said our only option was to call them for a paid service call. I started to express again how horribly disappointing Albert Lee's customer service has been, and he just hung up on me. So I called the manufacturer to set up the paid service call and the automated line informed me that I would need the Model and Serial number. Jason had hung up on me before providing this information, so I had to call him back and ask him up front to please provide me with this information before hanging up on me again. He very tersely provided me with this information, and I asked to speak with his manager because of how rude he had been. He forwarded me to Tim's phone number and of course it went through to voicemail. I left Tim a voicemail but I of course don't expect to hear back from him because this company clearly does not give a DAMN about its customers. So please, learn from my experience and please DO NOT PATRONIZE ALBERT LEE APPLIANCE. It's been the single worst customer service experience of my life, and that was a tall task! read more

He was super knowledgeable about all of the different units, even knew details of the unit we owned and steered us in the right direction. Delivery and installation...awesome! Derrick and Liam made our delivery in pouring rain. It was just miserable outside, but they were positive and super efficient. They deserve more than a five star review. I bought refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. I got to talk to someone that really knew the appliances. This definitely helped to figure out what was best for me. I got to ask lots of questions and took my time picking things out. Appliances were delivered at a time that was best for me. Care was taken removing the old appliances and installing the new ones. I had a slight problem from a leak. They were quick to react, and took great care of me. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future. When my Miele washer/dryer arrived, Albert Lee scheduled the delivery & installation (FYI, installation by them was included & was not an extra cost). When the 2 installers arrived, they said that they could carry the heavy appliances up my stairs, BUT, they were not allowed to lift them off of the floor more than 18" & therefore could not install them on my counter, which was 12" higher. The installer called his supervisor, but would not let my husband take to him. Albert Lee said that they DO NOT have a policy forbidding their installers to lift the appliance, BUT that I should have told them when I ordered it and that they did not want to have any liability incase their employees were to hurt their backs because of insurance policy concerns on their end. To repeat: THIS IS NOT A WRITTEN POLICY nor something they disclosed to me. Their attitude, from the salesman, to store managers and upper management was that IT WAS MY FAULT for not telling them. AND, I would have to pay a separate company now to install them, which would be in approx. 1 month for $500! THEY WOULD NOT participate in the cost. It was only after calling several managers that they assigned someone in Lynnwood to help me find an installer and in the end I FOUND one for $350 who could install on the same date as theirs. So, I have been 1 month without a washer/dryer! PLUS, I returned an adaptor on 6/1 for a refund, WHICH HASN'T GONE THROUGH YET & IT HAS BEEN 20 DAYS. I won't be doing business with this company who blames the customer & doesn't accept any responsibility nor do they offer to help. ONE MORE RANT: Several employees told me that I DIDN'T need a Miele approved installer & that my WARRANTY FROM MIELE would not be effected if I used someone who is not approved by the factory: WRONG AGAIN, Miele confirmed that it would have CANCELLED my WARRANTY. We had a quickly dying refrigerator. They said we'd be on a fast track to getting a refrigerator which was in stock. Weeks past. The refrigerator arrived and didn't fit. So we were stuck with a large restocking fee and a refrigerator that was sitting in the middle of the kitchen. But, good news...another refrigerator was in stock that would fit. If I could rate the customer service 0 stars I would. We purchased $20k worth of appliances at Albert Lee. Paid 50% upfront. The staff is curt, stressed, over-worked, and not well trained in customer service. They communicate very disrespectfully, at least 2 individuals I worked with did. They cannot guarantee dates, this is understood. But what they do is not communicate AT ALL. I received one email stating ETA dates for 3 appliances initially. The first date there was a delivery. The next date, almost a month later, I had to send multiple emails and when I finally got a hold of them, they basically ignored me, interrupted and disrespectfully said "that is the way it works". Really? They are in the business of procurement and delivery, and they cannot send an EMAIL (which takes 1 min) about a backorder as soon as they are aware? Isn't the key part of their business expectations around delivery dates/times? This sets off a domino effect of having to change contractor dates, change installations, etc. Besides not even wanting to hear your concerns, or even attempt to rectify them, they cut you off and put you on hold mid sentence. It is an ugly customer experience. I would never do business with this company again and I would warn anyone who is considering them to RECONSIDER. It is not worth the level of stress that could be avoided. It gets worse. "Because you went Social with your customer service issue, we are cancelling your order", was the response to my honest and fair feedback. If I could rate Albert lee at a 0 I would. Needed a washer and dryer with pedestals. Items were delayed multiple times. Basically was forced to accept the washer and dryer before the pedestals as they might give away our washer and dryer if we didn't. Told us a 3rd party installation company could install the pedestals at a later date for $200. Finally when the pedestals came in, the 3rd party company quoted us $790 to install them under the washer and dryer. We still don't have resolution on the issue as Albert Lee is giving the runaround and basically telling us we need to eat the cost. Terrible customer service and extremely dishonest just to get a sale. Go with someone else. read more

It just keeps getting worse and worse with these guys. I've bought a couple of house-fulls of high end appliances through them only to have just awful service. Delivery windows aren't kept. Proper installation parts aren't brought along. To make it all just terrible their manner and customer service is awful. There was a time when you could stop by and ask about getting a replacement part for, say, a refrigerator door, and someone would help you. Not anymore; the guy will just hand out a phone number for the manufacturer. I can get a better price at many other places. Why pay more for poor service??? Of course Kelly will respond with an offer to help. I'd suggest to Kelly to talk to the owners about revamping this company otherwise we all know what happens to poorly managed local companies. read more

It was one single call wherein I was transferred from Dave to Kurt (or Kirk). The undertone of your response is that I am somehow to blame, which is not at all surprising. It was one single call, Kellly. And after that one call I knew I could never work with your company. And now I will have to wait another week probably for a new fridge. But nothing could tempt me to accept that kind of treatment. Original Review: HORRENDOUS phone interaction- Starting with "Dave" and ending with "Kurt". Update regarding reply from company: The builder left the receipt for this appliance from Albert Lee with our house documents, so yes, unless Albert Lee deletes their records, there is a record of this transaction. Albert Lee claims there are inaccuracies in this review. This is also false. After checking Google reviews, this company makes a living off of ripping people off. Hopefully the DA catches up to them soon! --------------------------- Contacted Albert Lee about our 3 year old Blomberg dishwasher, purchased from Albert Lee by our homebuilder, AKA Investments, having an electrical fire, which put us, our family and our home at risk; not to mention, fried the dishwasher. No help whatsoever -- they just told me to come in a buy a new one. Really?! I asked if there was a replacement program or discount available -- No. Is there an extended warranty available if I purchase a different brand from them -- No. Are they concerned that a dishwasher they sell started on fire -- No. This isn't the first issue we had with this dishwasher or Albert Lee. But it is definitely the last, as we will shop with Best Buy instead. Read on for more excitement . . . Besides the fact this dishwasher has super cheap components that are prone to breaking, it didn't even last 3 years in our brand new home. It did go out with a bang -- an Electrical fire in the component box. Melted most of the wiring in the process, along with burning the plastic barrier lining. The control panel on the top cracked easily in multiple places just from normal opening and closing of the dishwasher. From the beginning this Blomberg dishwasher didn't work correctly. We had it repaired under the initial warranty, as it was spraying our brand new hardwood floors with water DURING the cycle, with the dishwasher closed. Apparently that was from a pressure sensor issue / malfunction. Unfortunately Albert Lee Appliances would not take it back. It continued to degrade and have additional issues after the 1 year warranty was expired. We removed the door panel after the fire to find there is also rust near the base. We contacted a repairman who said it would cost more than a new dishwasher to repair it with labor + cost of parts, given it needs an entire new electrical system + controller and all the components that go with it + controller panel -- and it would still be rusted with burn marks. No Thanks! Giving you a heads up so you find a different brand altogether and save yourself, your money, your time, and these headaches. Not to mention saving you, your family AND your home from a fire hazard! Purchase from Best Buy instead. They offer extended warranties (up to 5 years with inexpensive Geek Squad Protection add on) that are worth every cent, especially when a company like Blomberg - or any other manufacturer - and Albert Lee refuse to stand by their own products. Definitely worth purchasing from Best Buy. At least I will get a minimum of 5 years out of the our next dishwasher rather than 3 from Blomberg. As a side note, I have read lots of reviews that state Albert Lee sells the appliances, provides an install dates 2+ months out, the re-sells the already-purchased appliances without telling the original customer until the 2 month install appointment time arrives, and cancel with no prior notice. Not only do they double or triple or who knows how many times they re-sell the same appliance -- they keep the money from all sales until forced to return it. This seems illegal and it also seems the DA should get involved here. How are they even in business?! Oh, almost forgot to mention that Albert Lee does not allow reviews of appliances on their website. This must be to keep people from knowing how poor their service is and that the Blomberg dishwashers they sell are a fire hazard. read more
