Wish I had gotten the name of my tech so you could make sure to avoid her. It was the most disappointing "deluxe" mani/pedi I have ever had. If she had been any less interested in what she was doing she probably would've fallen off her chair. Imagine a toddler you happen to be around randomly rubbing some lotion on you - that was about the skill level. There was nothing relaxing or enjoyable about my time spent at the salon. If they hadn't been so busy I would have asked for a different technician after 15 minutes, I kid you not. If I hadn't been desperate for a mani/pedi that afternoon I would have walked out. Two examples: 1) I had fallen down a few days ago and had HUGE scabs on one knee. She didn't even see them and just started rubbing lotion on. 2) When she was done with the manicure I had to finish removing a very large, very visible, very attached piece of cuticle. I wish I had refused to pay the "deluxe" fee, and they only take cash. If I had charged I'd be blocking payment with my cc company. I did tell the manager it was the worst massage ever. read more

I came to get a pedicure and was blown away with every part of my experience: they do temp checks, have plexiglass, sanitize, etc. and the technician I worked with, I believe her name is Ann but I could be mistaken, gave me the best foot massage of my life! I never expect much from a massage in a nail salon but WOW I was blown away! I'm pretty particular about my nails, so I didn't have very high expectations, but I think this may have been the first time I left a nail salon truly 100% happy with the end result! Zero stars for lack of sanitary practices! This place is about two weeks old, but should be closed down today. The vibe was off from the beginning. They seemed unsure and nervous. That made me nervous and I was watching everything from that point in. She heated the wax. She was IN THE ROOM and tells me to undress. Fine...I did. I got on the table. Then she walks out the room...while I'm @$$ed out on the table. She finally came back in with gloves and stuff. She positioned me, dipped the wax, put it on me, put the strip on (I prefer hard wax anyway), AND PUTS THE STICK BACK IN THE DAMN WAX! I told her I was done and why. She started blubbering every excuse. She pulled out new sticks and said she'd change them out. That she's busy (there was one customer when I walked in) and they're so new. She always changes them. Blah. Blah. Blah. I refused to proceed. She then asks if I still want the pedicure. Uh...no. I walked out. read more

Everyone was kind, the interior is very nice, seasonal nail polishes, nice massaging seats, complimentary mimosas (or Margs or a few other selections). Different style pedicures, and other services. They take card payment but there's also an ATM. No parking lot but plenty of free street parking. Just wish there was more communication on what was happening and when. Like I didn't know that she wasn't going to come back to check it my nail polish was dry, so I was just sitting there for quite a bit and didn't know where she was at or what was happening. Literally this was such an amazing experience. We made an appointment for a bridal party of 7, and they got us all in and served complimentary cocktails and the service was sooooo good! I went recently (3rd time there) with my daughter and 8 ye old granddaughter. It was very busy and we definitely felt rushed. Service was quick, not very thorough as they rushed us through. My daughter wanted some French type nails but we were told they were not able to do this but no clear reason why. I was looking for a local nail shop so I could get my nails done for a concert, and came across Alberta Nails Spa. I called to make sure I could come in in the next fifteen minutes, and they said yes. I got white gel nails for the price of $49. They charged me an additional $10 for the removal of my fake nails which I found slightly unusual because typically, I've found, if you are getting your nails re-done after a removal of prior-done nails the salon will not charge you. My nails looked fantastic after they were initially completed; although, 1 day after my nails had already chipped! They had told me after my first appointment if there were any issues I could come back in, so I came back in. I called to make sure I could come in, and they said it was ok. Upon my arrival, the people working in the salon continuously questioned me as if I was trying to get my one nail re-done for free without have been to the salon beforehand. I felt very uncomfortable, and frustrated as I had previously spent $60 (20% tip included)-- for a gel manicure! I have never written a review before, but this has seriously pissed me off. read more
