Wow this place is amazing!!! I finally convinced my fiancé to get a pedicure and this place is about 5 minutes from our house. It is so clean!! They have all new massage chairs, nail polish etc. They have been open for about a month and are new to the area. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed! They are very sanitary and provide you with a purple foot stone, nail file/buffer for free to bring with you every time. They do not re-use the same pedicure/manicure products - you will need to bring back the complimentary set they provide you (which I love). The staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Two fantastic employees stayed late in order to offer us walk in appointments in their beautiful salon. Immediately upon entering we were given hand sanitizer and had our temps checked (felt very safe clean and safeguarded from covid). The service from start to finish was the best I've ever received. Wow what a great place. I had an hour to kill and decided to get my nails done and this was the closest place. I called and they were able to see me right away. The place is really neat and clean and upon arrival they offered me a complimentary drink. I was only in for a polish change and it was only $20. I scheduled an appointment at this salon because a friend recommended it to me. My appointment was at 11 on a weekday, but unfortunately I didn't leave until after 2 p.m. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I purposely scheduled my appointment for a non-busy weekday and in the morning so as to beat the crowd. I had problems right from the beginning. There was confusion as to which seat I was to sit in and who would give me a pedicure. Once I was finally seated, the woman could not understand me because she didn't speak English. She had trouble understanding what color I wanted. I requested olive green or Forest green if the olive green wasn't available. She pointed to the picture, asked for the number, and then told me to relax as she massaged my feet and calves. When I opened my eyes up, she'd painted my toenails black! I didn't have times to have them repainted, so I had to settle for a color that I didn't want. Also, my manicure wasn't right either. Today was my first time at Alberta Nails. I had walked by a few days ago and saw that they had installed plastic partitions at each of their stations which made me want to go there for my first post lockdown mani/pedi. They take safety very seriously. Hand sanitizer, waiver and temp check as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone is wearing masks, the manicure stations all have the thick partitions separating you from your nail tech. The pedi chairs also have them and they're leaving two chairs of space between you to maintain six feet of distance. Everything felt clean and safe. The service itself was excellent, great attention to detail. My nails look fantastic. It was really lovely to be able to do this again with minimal guilt or fear. Remember to be awesome to the staff! They're the ones putting themselves more at risk so that we can get services. They're doing all they can to make themselves and everyone safe while making a living. Be kind! read more

This place is amazing! I've been here a few times for a pedicure or manicure before and I always keep coming back. How many color selections for shellac is kinda impressive, and I would choose any of their nail polish colors. I love that they're aware of covid and they encourage coutumers to wear a mask on and use hand sanitizer when you enter. My prior visit (for a manicure) was relaxing, reguvinating, and over all great time. I gotta admit, sometimes I can be very particular on what I want on my nails, so I asked for this buaetiful design I found on their website, and the lady said she do it, with no hesitation. The design was very complicated, and my phone (where the inspiration was) kept on turning off after 2 seconds, but the lady was very nice and enjoyable towards this frustrating incidence. She copied the design exactly, and she doubble checked that every color was the shade I wanted before applying to my nail. My nails look exactly the the photo, and I feel like my hands are a piece of art. I also enjoy getting pedicures at Alberta Nail Salon because they have massage chairs that feel like HEAVEN on your back. The last time I got a manicure from them was in August, and my nail polish is still pretty, so pretty that I wouldn't be ashamed to wear flip-flops good. My point is this is a great nail salon, so if you're visiting Portland, or have been living here for 5 years, I would reccomend going here for some relaxation.
