    Five Beef Taquitos (Super Style)
    Nancy A.

We ordered delivery for the office. I got the super style beef taquitos. It comes with 5 beef taquitos with cheese, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce AND diced steak on top! It was a generous portion and I can see why it's a staff favorite. The diced steak on top made it extra delicious. The taquitos remained crispy despite it being delivered. The salsa that came in the order was good also. I really like Alberto's as it reminds me of those late nights when I was in college.

Albertos is right next to Harkins movie theatre and I would have to say that I enjoyed myself here. We came here for dinner with a few friends and had some rolled tacos, carne asada fries, and of course horchata as a drink. The three rolled tacos come with tasty cheese and guacamole. I love the flavor of the guacamole and cheese. Everything blends well together and the staff is super nice! We ate inside and had our meal on the clean tables and booths. They also decorated the inside with a Christmas tree.

It's been a while since I was last here. Grabbed a quick bite before a show while in Chino Hills. Ordered the taco rolls again and they were freshly made and very good. Price with guacamole is now $4.99. Just like everywhere else everything is going up! My brother ordered a carne asada burrito with guac and he enjoyed his as well. Lots of meat and very fresh. Their hot red sauce is great too!!!

No rice or beans in burrito. Only beef and guacamole.

I ordered a burrito and got only beef and guacamole. What happened to the rice and beans? I also ordered two beef tacos and got one beef and one chicken. Do not order online from here. They cannot get your order right. So disappointing.

    Carne Asada Fries

I love love love this place's carne asada fries. I find that every Alberto's is different but I think this place does a good job with the thin cut fries (very important so they dont become soggy), meat not the best but def gets the job done, creamy guac, not too much sour cream or tomatoes (becomes watery when there's too much), and an abundance of cheese. I also like the flavor of their mild green salsa and they give more than enough if you ask. It's not the cheapest, price comes out to around $12.50 but I usually split this into multiple meals and just pop it in the airfryer and it tastes just as good! I've never tried any other menu items so can't speak for anything else that they serve. During covid times, I've been getting it to-go. They are quick, I always call in and it's ready by the time I get there. The trick is to drive home with the box opened so the fries don't steam from the heat and become soggy :)

    California Burrito with fries

Fresh, hot and delicious Mexican treats served here. Especially the burritos and carne asada fries (nachos aren't bad either). Salsas and guac are legit, meat is seasoned well and the tortillas are delicious. The service is quick and gets your order right. As far as fast Mexican food that isn't created in an Irvine lab goes, Alberto's is frequently imitated but never duplicated. Yes... I'm talking to those Alfredo's, Albert's and Adalberto's out there - Straight out of the McDowell's playbook.

Favorite place for super nachos. I've had a few other things but I just keep coming back for the super nachos or super fries.

The food is gross here and more expensive. The location on central in chino is way better and cheaper.

Was looking for Sunday dinner and decided to try this place for the first time…read more I went for the 2 taco combo with one shrimp taco, one fish taco, both breaded. The combo came with rice, beans, and a fountain drink. After I paid i noticed that they have fountain Pepsi, but only canned coke. Not sure if you can ask for canned coke instead of a fountain drink without an additional charge but I personally prefer coke over Pepsi. I decided to get dr. Pepper since I had a fountain drink cup. What I do like is you can get some lemon, onions, and chili peppers from the condiment bar. I like chili peppers and appreciate these are free whereas I have had to pay extra for a bag of 3 elsewhere. There are also an assortment of packaged sauces as well as their prepared sauces such as Chipotle and green/red salsa. The portion sizes here are good. I took the food home to eat and was pretty full by the time I ate one taco. The condiments enhanced the meal. Rice and beans were fine. For $14 total its not a bad deal. I think if I didn't do takeout and ate at the restaurant, my breaded fish would not be soggy. However, the flavor was there. I would return to try their ceviche as that looked pretty fresh!

I really came for the Quesobirria tacos I ordered the combo with 3 tacos and rice and beans. Also got a regular drink that did not come with the combo. Total was around $25 which kinda crazy but I understand price for meat has gotten higher so restaurants still need to make a profit. They had three salsa this I have to say was the only downside was that none of them were actually spicy at all. I'm not sure if the one I had was the habanero one that's what it was labeled, but it did not taste nor look like habanero salsa so perhaps they just didn't have that one at the bar. Once I got my plate, it looked great Every taco had a very good portion of meat inside they were nice and seasoned. The meat was not even remotely dry. It was nice and tender and juicy. Tacos were by far the best ones I've had in this area. Their rice and beans were good as well. All in all, I definitely will be coming back. Also, I love that they have outdoor seating.

First of all, the decorations are amazing. The first thing that caught our eyes were the hanging lit up butterflies. They really make a statement. Next to them is a tree covered in Christmas lights, and next to that is a lit up aquarium looking thing. Even when I went to the restroom, I noticed that the cement floor had sparkly gold specks and something that looked like the Milky Way. As a vegetarian, I was so happy that the menu had leaf symbols so that I could quickly tell which items I could ask for without meat. The food came out fast. It felt like we had barely ordered them and the waitresses were suddenly coming out with them. The portions were huge, like my sister ordered the grande nachos and it really was grand. It looked like an appetizer that was meant to be shared with a group of people. The food tasted good. I enjoyed my meal so much that as big as it was, I devoured the majority of it and only stopped because I was too full. Towards the end, one of the employees asked if he could take away my plate and even though I knew he wasn't our waitress and it probably wasn't his job, I asked him for boxes instead. When our waitress came to our table to ask if I wanted boxes, the other employee at that moment handed us the boxes. I thought it was nice that the other employee did that for us even though he probably wasn't expected to. Overall, we had a great experience here.

It's a beautiful restaurant and food quality was great. But the menu truly needs to have transparency and accurate labeling.

The prior Irish pub used to have some music and dancing I can't remember maybe on Thursdays or something and it was pretty popular so why they made the change I don't know but now it's permanently closed. Let's get something in here that's well liked and tolerated by everybody that can last a few years instead of every other year there's something new struggling to make it go. Their street tacos and food platters weren't bad and the beer was always cold, it was a quiet place to hide out but I guess that was its downfall sometimes you could be the only one in there or two or three other people and that won't pay the bills in a location that's known for high rent.
