First off... if you come here you know what you are getting... I'm not sure why people leave bad reviews for over pricing. Everything has gone up! If you don't like it go somewhere else and get what you pay for. I've been to many Alberto's and styles of it, Rigoberto's, Albert's, super Sergio's, at first I thought they were all the same. But not even close! This Alberto's is actually good! Super fries are good! Taquitos are good and the asada is not bad for a chain. I like their beef hard shell tacos and their carnitas are good too! I don't tend to steer away for the regular choices because I like them and know what I'm getting! The service has always been good and the place is getting a little more vamped up. Dang, so many people have not so nice things to say. I don't wanna pile on but at the same time I've been to my local chino hills location three times now and it seems this location is also starting to go downhill. I got a soda cos the horchata and aqua fresas were $5, no refills. The regular fountain soda machine was out of order on half the varieties. Only lemonade, Coke and Diet Coke were available. My food, a super loaded carnitas burrito, was $17 and it wasn't anything to write home about. I get prices of everything right now is a lot thanks to, well you know. We ordered delivery for the office. I got the super style beef taquitos. It comes with 5 beef taquitos with cheese, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce AND diced steak on top! It was a generous portion and I can see why it's a staff favorite. The diced steak on top made it extra delicious. The taquitos remained crispy despite it being delivered. 10/15/2025 This place is Price Gouging! Carne asada fries/Nachos at this specific location in Chino hills went from about 13 dollars to 23 . That's a big Jump! Super Sergios in pipeline also did the same exact price jump for thier Carne Aasda nachos/fries. Now here's the fun part. I did a ton of calling around and Albertos in Chino off of central by the 60 freeway and they charge 14.50 for the same thing. I also just came back from Mira Mesa San Diego Ca and similar places are even cheaper for the same Carne Asada nachos/fries. Do not buy from these fast food mexican restaurants Chino Hills. Yes it is known as a rich area so they are taking advantage. Papa Chinos and Urban Fish Taco also have Carne Aasda fries/Nachos which is higher quality and cheaper... few miles down in pomona and Chino you'll also find cheaper places for the same thing! read more

Albertos is right next to Harkins movie theatre and I would have to say that I enjoyed myself here. We came here for dinner with a few friends and had some rolled tacos, carne asada fries, and of course horchata as a drink. The three rolled tacos come with tasty cheese and guacamole. I love the flavor of the guacamole and cheese. Everything blends well together and the staff is super nice! We ate inside and had our meal on the clean tables and booths. It's been a while since I was last here. Grabbed a quick bite before a show while in Chino Hills. Ordered the taco rolls again and they were freshly made and very good. I have had everything from the crispy tacos to the street tacos, enchiladas burritos and pollo asada. Everything I have ordered here has been very good. We come here at least once a week maybe twice. I love love love this place's carne asada fries. I find that every Alberto's is different but I think this place does a good job with the thin cut fries (very important so they dont become soggy), meat not the best but def gets the job done, creamy guac, not too much sour cream or tomatoes (becomes watery when there's too much), and an abundance of cheese. I also like the flavor of their mild green salsa and they give more than enough if you ask. It's not the cheapest, price comes out to around $12.50 but I usually split this into multiple meals and just pop it in the airfryer and it tastes just as good! I've never tried any other menu items so can't speak for anything else that they serve. During covid times, I've been getting it to-go. They are quick, I always call in and it's ready by the time I get there. The trick is to drive home with the box opened so the fries don't steam from the heat and become soggy :) read more

So let me start off the bat by saying I am a noob to traditional Mexican food, even though I love Mexican food. I guess I am more into non-authentic lol. So, when you go there, the first thing you might have questions about (like I did) was about what the menu items are... The staff were very friendly and patient with me while they explained all the items that I didn't understand. But, as is the case with me, I like to try the basics before i experiment, so I ended up going with one of their combination plates - they have a lot - the two tacos (chicken/beef)! I went with the shredded beef and not the carne asada although I have heard it is good here. I thought the food was very good. The beans and rice were ok, and the meat for the tacos was good. This Albertos is new to me, its kind of hidden and appears new? The Carne Asada fries are the best! I highly recommend, I get with extra carne asada and it will fill you up. The spot is small, but they have a huge tv with Spanish music playing and cool ranch painiting on the wall. There's ample parking and close to freeway. The staff here are always very courteous. Called in a order for a super burrito wet yesterday 12/5/2021 which is supposed to come with rice and beans inside and I even asked the gentleman taking the order oil it come with that and he said yes! Usually I like Alberto's. First time coming to this one. The breakfast burrito tasted - meh. It lacked flavor. It was missing a quality that I usually get from other Albertos locations. I've been here 3 times now that I live out in this area. Food is fairly good and the prices are decent. The tacos are huge and usually one or 2 will fill you up pretty well. They have lots of different meal combos here and some come with drinks, making it a great deal. For example, the ranchero and eggs is only $9 and comes with a drink, tortilla, and beans. All the food comes out hot. I've haven't had any bad experience with service. It is a very casual place where you order at the register, pay and they bring the food out to you. I usually go for the taco. I've tried the soft chicken taco, crispy chicken taco (spicy), carnitas, and carne asada. Tacos are $3.70 each and the crispy chicken is $2.85. They are a little on the pricier side, but the tacos are big and filling. The only thing I don't get is there are no limes! Maybe I have to ask for it next time. However, the main reason I come here is the churros!! You can get 3 piping hot FILLED churros for only $3.50!! They are so cheap! Even my boyfriend who is not a fan of churros likes these! The churros are filled with a vanilla custard. They come out wrapped and hot and the smell of sugary cinnamon goodness will put a smile on anyone's face! **Review for Carne Asada Fries** Aka Super fries - I remember super fries being heavier than this but it was still pretty damn good. They could have added more meat and made it less salty but it was still pretty good. Their service was better than I expected. The cashier was nice and another employee actually brought us our order and then brought the sauce we wanted to our table. They also asked to take our empty tray after we finished.
