    Birria Ramen, the kids favorite.
    Rocio R.

Fried tacos are delicious. The ramen birria is good too. I'm just not feeling the noodles that much. They're a little thicker than the noodles in the cup a noodles. But my kids absolutely love it. Their aguas frescas as refreshing. Well kept inside. Service is quick as well.

Still my confession draws you near Two Tacos Dorado from #BirrieriaXolos

Sometimes, when I want something other than my customary pastor, I really go for birria. Usually I like when it's the classic goat meat, but beef does just as well in a pinch. There's something about dunking a good taco or quesadilla with a bunch of birria meat stuffed in it into that consommé that hits the spot. Even birria ramen has its considerable charm. Xolos I can safely say has damn good birria. The dorado tacos I had was like a NYE party in my with a countdown to a flavor fireworks display happening with every bite. I could eat that particular taco every day of my life. I look very much forward to trying out their other bestseller, the ramen. I thought the service was great too. The counter dude was very helpful in answering all my questions regarding the menu and what I should have. They all seemed super pleasant. I like the spot. It had a lot of space, the music was great, and everything was super clean and inviting. I even got a chance to read a bit because I didn't feel like they were trying to rush me out at all. I love places that let you eat and just take a breath or two to savor the meal. Overall, I think this deserves a place in my rotation. Goat or not, this place is a nice place to get a tasty dinner with no distractions or pressure on you. That's all you need in a neighborhood food joint.

Noodle with a lot of meat. Must try.

We were craving queso birria tacos and found this place through yelp! This place hit the spot! So delicious! We ordered 4 queso birria tacos with a side of rice and consome and a strawberry horchata. Everything was a 10/10. The food came out quickly on a Sunday afternoon and there was plenty of seating. We'd come back again!

Yummy birria! I had tacos dorados with a side of consomé and my daughter had the sopa ramen. The meat has a lot of flavor. They do have a variety of drinks from horchata, piña, Jamaica, sodas and beer. I tried the agua de piña and it was really good. My daughter also ordered a side of beans. They give you a plate with onion, cilantro, lime and purple onion curtida. The inside is pretty spacious they have plenty of tables. I have also ordered the mega pack for a gathering I was having and it was plenty of food for about 8-12 people.

Let's start with presentation When I tell you, they had my food packed like they were my grandma sending me on a field trip! I mean! Onions, cilantro, pickled onions and sauces all individually wrapped! My birria, my birria....delicious! We had a great experience and will be back for sure! I ordered a lot of stuff...it was all delicious

Birrieria Xolos is a casual birria place that is great for eating in or taking out. You can order at the front and pick up your food relatively quickly. They have an open kitchen concept where you can see the fresh food being made as well. The restaurant has plenty of parking in the complex and lots of indoor seating. The ambiance can be described as casual, hygienic, and good for big groups - it's a great place to grab lunch while at work or for when you're craving quality Mexican food. The prices are affordable and the portion sizes are good for sharing! The quesadilla was flavored well and had a nice proportion of cheese to meat.

We usually order this place to go since we live pretty close by. This is our go to place when we are in the mood for birria. The food is always delicious and the service is always great.

First time here. I asked the lady at the front what to get since it was my first time here. She recommended Quesataco. I also got a taco Birria. Service was great, she's friendly. I got my food to go. Everything was packed nicely. The deco of the place was nice and clean, updated. Place is huge with lots of space. Lots of seating for inside and outside. Take your pick. Price was pretty good. With both of my order I paid $10.

I really love birria. If you like Mexican food and have never tried it, you're really missing out. Think of it as a roast beef sandwich vs. a French dip. Traditional birria is made with goat meat but most places serve beef. I definitely prefer the beef over the goat. Super moist and surprisingly lean. Delicious tacos and mulitas here.

So dry it broke as I picked it up and took my first bite

I'm unsure if this was just a fluke and an accident from the back kitchen, but so I ordered 3 birria street tacos for take out yesterday. When I came home and opened up my takeout order, I saw the driest birria tacos I've ever ordered. Now I may be just inexperienced, but i've always had my birria tacos coated in the consume before fried on the grill. And it should have that signature deep red color afterwards. My tortillas looked like they came straight from the package : ( Their consume is also sold separately, which was a bummer, but I understand. In terms of taste, this consume I felt was a bit too light, to the point where there wasn't much flavor and just bland fatty liquid. Pros: They did package my order beautifully, with a separate bag of limes, chopped onions, chopped cilantro, pickled onions (yum), and a red salsa. The ladies at the register were also lovely and sweet. The store also had a lively atmosphere and seemed clean and well kept! Ultimately, I really wanted to like this place from what I'd seen from their photos and reviews, but my first time experience wasn't at all what I expected .

Randomly came across this place and will definitely come back. Ordered the tacos dorados and quesatacos with a side of their consome. Staff was friendly and ordering at the counter was fast. Dining area is spacious and clean. Tacos were filled with plenty of meat, were juicy and flavorful. Consomé was served super hot (as it should be) and was rich in flavor. You get a plate of cebollas curtidas, raw onions and cilantro. Salsa is available and although it's not too spicy it offers a good kick.

Queso tacos are delicious. So good. They are packed with birrieria. Great flavor. Comes with all the fixings - onions, cilantro, and limes. Love their Pina aqua Fresca. Really good. Service is good. Restaurant is clean. I would come back here.

One thing to keep in mind is that the bowls don't automatically include the salted egg, so you'll have to shell out a few extra dollars if you want that classic topping. While the meal itself was a hit, the logistics of the meal were a bit more frustrating. The service was fairly lackluster and felt mostly absent; we waited quite a while for attention, and the overall pace was very slow. It's the kind of place where you have to be proactive if you need a refill or the check. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is a major concern. Everything felt "sticky" from the tables to the floors and the bathrooms were definitely not well-maintained. It's hard to fully enjoy a premium-priced meal when the environment feels a bit neglected. On a brighter note, the location is very convenient. Since it's tucked into a large strip mall, parking is incredibly easy and stress-free, which isn't always the case in Chino Hills. If you are a "food first" person who doesn't mind a bit of grit and slow service, the ramen is worth a try, but the management could definitely step up the cleaning

Cucumber salad (5/5): refeshing cucumber slices with a hint of vinegar mixed either bits and nori and sesame seed! They added a few slices of crab salad to top it all off! I looked around and there were only 4 tables occupied leaving a good amount open. Now I understand they have takeout orders so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We waited 5 min to be acknowledged and it was a brief "we'll be right with you guys" to us and 2 other parties. Then a young girl with dark long hair in a pony tail completely gazed over us (we were first in line at the counter where the sign said please wait to be seated) and looked at the couple behind us and said I can seat you guys. My spouse said, "we were actually waiting first." And she said oh okay come with me. She sat us in the back by the restrooms at a DIRTY table that had not been wiped down not floor cleaned. I had to step over 3 crumpled up napkins and food residue to be sat at a table that had spilled water and soy sauce on it. Rather than apologize and seat us at the next table, she moved on to the next guests, so we took it upon ourselves to move tables because that is just disgusting and poor sanitary conditions. Then it was about 10 minutes later that she came back with waters which we appreciated. She did not let us know she would be back to take our order, instead she went to the next table and handed them their waters and offered to take their order. I went to use the restroom closest to the tables and let me say it was appalling. Trash overflowing, paper towels on the floor, the paper towel holder falling off the wall. Just Gross. After coming back I asked my spouse if she came around yet and he said no. We felt ignored, dismissed, and not cared about as customers. So we left. And we will not be returning. Really disappointed in the staff and this experience as we have been here before and have never experienced this with other staff members/the males working. The Gen Z staff need to be appropriately trained on communication, manners, and etiquette when guests arrive. You don't ignore people, you greets them and acknowledge them. Had we been acknowledged or communicated with we would completely understand. Would not recommend.

We got counter seating for 3 people. No wait. For our dinner, we got the: spicy miso tonkotsu, miso, and the sukiyaki broths, which were all decently solid. A bit light, but not too salty or dehydrating at the least. We all used sauce generously with our order, so maybe we should have sipped more soup or cooked more things in it longer? But we've never had this issue with other shabu places I've been to. For meats, we got the regular sized for all and had the angus beef chuck prime, beef toro, and lamb. Decent quality meat. Slices weren't too thin or too thick. Meat didn't cook and dry up immediately like worse places I've been to. All of our food came with a veggie plate and I will admit some of the lettuce/cabbage leaves weren't the cleanest or crispest so we didn't eat as much of the veggies as we'd like... We also ordered nigiri sushi on the side, which is just okay. Usually we wouldn't get something like that unless it came with the meal like an AYCE. Decent quality salmon, lots of rice and extra arbs on top of your meal though. Overall, it's okay.
