I tried it their way with their sauces and it was pretty good, next time I'll try the OG way. I also really like that they give you an option of corn or flour tortilla. I personally like corn. Crunchy ground beef taco: it was a bit greasy, but nothing a few dabs with a napkin couldn't fix. They absolutely loaded this thing with cheese. Loved it. If you like taquitos, this place is definitely worth checking out. Today I went with the loaded taquitos combo and got two shredded beef and two chicken with beans, rice, and a drink. Wow these things were soooo good. The flour taquitos were nice and softly golden on the outside and loaded up with cheese, sour cream, guacamole sauce, and their white sauce all over the top. They don't hold back on the toppings either. Every bite had a ton of flavor. The shredded beef had that slow cooked taste and the chicken was really juicy and seasoned good too. I also liked that even under all the sauce the taquitos still stayed mildly crunchy. That's always a big deal with loaded taquitos because sometimes they get soggy fast but these held up really well also the fact that they were so good and I ate them so fast, that's probably why the stayed crunchy lol . The beans and rice were good sides too and actually filled me up more than I expected. Yummy! So glad we found this location after the one in Corona closed. We have been here several times now and the employees have been friendly and fun. I have given this place multiple chances and each time it's more disappointing than the last. This last time 8/6 9 pm, my food was so greasy and sloppily thrown together. While I was waiting there, they had customers saying they had placed an order for pickup and never got their food. So this place closed while it had pending orders? I went back the very next morning Friday 8/7 at 10:00 AM and I asked to speak to a manager and the kid says that a manager is only there on sundays and proceeds to call the manager in front me. The manager says to honor the refund but I have to wait until Sunday for them to come in and process it. It is now Tuesday and I never received a refund or even a call back. So Food is terrible, customer service is also terrible, but the management is a complete dumpster fire. If you look at this chain, half of them are closed down or "temporarily closed" right now... I have had this place on my Yelp places to try for a couple years and FINALLY made it. I think I expected too much because it was just MEH! There wasn't anything special about them. The chicken didn't stand out in anyway, the cheese I feel could have had more cheese and the potato one was almost soggy where the filling was (probably cuz they use a flour tortilla for the potato one). I wished the box was more flat and longer so that all 5 taquitos have all the sauce. But when I got home it was little soggy. My first thought when I saw a taquito focused restaurant was that the food would be pricey and the portion size would be small. I was right, but that hardly summarizes my experience. The menu is simple and you pick flour or corn tortillas and then choose your protein (chicken, potato, beef, cheese). I went with a 5-pack, one of each protein, and let them pick the tortillas that matched best. Flavor-wise, I really liked all the taquitos, but I could have smashed a few more without a problem. They are beautiful in their box with layers of colorful sauces and quite messy. Unfortunately, my bill was nearly $20, which comes out to $5 a taquito!
