My fiancé and I have been visiting Alberto's since moving to the area in May. We have consistently been impressed by the quality of food and the friendliness of the staff. We normally sitting at the bar, and the bartenders are attentive and kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. Some of my personal favorites include the Steak and Cheese Egg Rolls, the Kitchen Special Pizza, and the Steak Sandwich. In addition to dining in, we have also ordered catering from Alberto's and the entire process was painless. From making sure we ordered enough food, to giving us extra serving utensils and accompaniments, we will continue to use Alberto's for our catering needs. I normally don't complain but this is ridiculous the wait would have been fine if our food didn't taste like it was made the day before. Good food at a comparable price. I've had the nachos which were too bland for me, nothing special there but the chicken wings were really good. Also the grilled salmon dinner was really good. Cooked perfectly. The service I found to be good (sat at the bar both times). I had two different bartenders each time. They were both friendly and efficient. The food is mediocre. They have the absolute worst customer service. I've given multiple chances never gets better.

This is not a fine dining establishment by any means. However, this is a decent place to go before a concert, just be forewarned that it gets VERY busy on such days, so get there early. I was not necessarily disappointed in the food, I was more disappointed in the service and cleanliness. Our waitress was pleasant, but very slow. And it seemed that it was impossible to get anything done. For instance, want trivia machines? Of course! No problem! But they would never arrive. A drink? She would appear every twenty minutes to take drink orders and clear the table. The table we were on (next to the window on the bar side of the restaurant) was small for four people. We ended up taking dishes and putting them on the empty table behind us as we ran out of room and our table was not getting cleared. One last thing. The floor. As evident by my picture, the floor was freaking filthy. I mean disgusting. According to my friends they didn't make the mess, it was there when we sat down. I somehow doubt four adults could make that mess. I should also mention the Caesar salad that my friend got came out without parmesan. Which as I had mentioned before, the service was slow, so she didn't eat it until the cheese came. Now for the positives. I love trivia! I was happier than a pig in you-know-what with my trivia machine. Second, the back deck was awesome! I think next time we should sit out there. Also, you can have your drink and smoke a cigarette out there. Third, the fries were pretty good. Actually, the food was decent. Not awesome...decent. I think this is the type of restaurant where nothing sticks out as awesome awesome...but nothing totally sucks either. Alberto's - What Happened? This place used to be spot-on. Now I'm done. I'm ready to mail them my "alberto's card" back. The servers are still GREAT. This is the only reason why they are getting a star. Let's talk about the declining slope of the pizza. Don't worry if it gets busy - they just won't finish cooking it. The last 3 times we have gone there, the pizza has come out uncooked in the middle. When I say uncooked, I mean raw dough. Time to turn the heat down (and off of broil) and cook the pie at a steady rate - anyone who has ever cooked themself a frozen anything knows this. The first two times this happened we sent the pizza back (again the waitress was very friendly and apologized - it's not her fault). The third time, we realized it is the "new albertos" taste. No thanks. Delivery - this is still terrible. When they say 45 minutes they mean 1 hr. 15 minutes. When they say 1 hour, be ready to wait for 2 hours. The last time we ordered delivery from them - I was ready for my cold pizza (as I stated in my last review) - it came just before the 1 hour and 45 minute mark - and the box was soaked. When I say soaked, I mean the bottom was falling through the box. The delivery man was as shocked as I was. His explanation "Wow. That pizza must've been so hot it MELTED the box". I don't think so buddy - I've had your delivery and I know it's cold upon arrival. I opened the soaked box and touched the pizza - luke-warm (I guess that is a step up), but the entire bottom was soaked with this liquid. There was an awkward silence for a good 10 seconds. I finally said "I really can't pay you for this pizza". The delivery man looked around puzzled and surprised. He replied, "Well I guess I'll have to go back and have them make you another one. I know they're closing kinda soon. I guess this is going to take me all night. What kind of idiot makes a pizza like this?" I'm not sure if he wanted me to answer his questions or not, but I DO know we didn't see him again for another hour and a half. Don't worry, we were prepared again with the oven preheating when it arrived. How could I possibly go back again after giving it all these shots? Why did I continue to go? Didn't come here much before but the pizza and friendly service has won me over as my go to pizza place. Plenty of TVs to watch sports and bartenders and waitstaff are very attentive towards their clientele. Chalk me up as a new fan - only downside can be parking not much in front and in back can sometimes be overrun. But keep up the good work Albertos read more

Stopped in yesterday, on a sunny warm Friday afternoon about 3:30 to smoke a cigar and have a martini on the patio, maybe order some food. When I asked the bartender for a martini she said the contents were inside and her patio bar was to busy to get the martini from the inside bar . So I had to order what was in reach and easily available. An Espresso martini sure goes good with my cigar and I know I passed a few patio bars coming all the way from Brockton. Maybe Tim can figure a way to resolve this problem before next season... read more

We have ordered take out from Albertos a total of 3 times. First time the food arrived hot and well packaged. Tasted good. Last two times we have ordered from here have been absolutely horrible. The second time was just a shot thinking the first time was an off night. Nope. Onion rings were inedible due to being so greasy. Our burgers and wrap were Unappetizing to look at much less eat. The food was not put together with any care so by the time it arrived to us we couldn't eat it. Wasn't fun throwing food and money away. Lesson learned. read more

I've been here countless times. Before concerts, just to grab drinks or dinner with friends, and each time I'm a little disappointed, but I just keep going back. It's not bad, really, the food is decent, but it's nothing special. The service is almost always what gets me. I'm rarely thrilled with the wait staff, and sometimes they are downright bad. Once, when with friends, our waitress (who I had seen many times before) seemed completely unfamiliar with the menu and possible substitutions. Then, she made at least three mistakes on our meals. One person, who stated they had an allergy, received their dinner with the one thing they said to hold. It was just a disaster. While I can definitely appreciate that we all make mistakes, the part that bothered me was that this woman didn't even apologize. In a service industry (which I work in myself) you have to be the face of the business and try to keep everyone happy. Sometimes that means apologizing for things (even if they aren't your fault). read more

We came here for a little pre-concert dinner on Friday before Sugarland and it was packed! They have a cute patio out back but we sat inside at the bar. The service was slow, I think due to the huge crowd but still pretty slow. They had sports and news on the tv's. The fiancee got a blueberry beer, I had a diet pepsi. There CO2 wasn't working so I got it bottled at no additional charge. That was nice since many places just serve it flat and syrupy (and hope you don't complain or vomit) or charge you extra for a bottle. They have a half price apps at the bar from 3-6 PM. We we took advantage of that deal. The fiancee got a half rack of ribs with fries. The portion was huge and was more of a meal then an app but for 4.50 cents they could not be beat! I got the shrimp tempura. It is not really shrimp tempura. They where just fried baby shrimp they where ok but nothing special. I was still hungry after eating them. They also serve popcorn which is good because again the service was slow and we where starving. Parking is an issue. Probably not on nights when the Comcast center isn't running but on a night when it was it was tough. We parked in the lot and some guy came over and said we had to pay $20 to park. We explained we where just eating, not parking for the concert. He said he didn't care if we wanted to park we had to pay. Charge bar customers to park in Norton is inexcusable and for that they get such a low rating. Granted we did not pay. We parked at Comcast which is free and walked back! I complained the whole way because I didn't believe these people deserved my business but I also hate Comcast center charging $9.50 for a CUP of Bud Light. read more

This is a good place. Pizza is good, beer selection is really good. The menu is really big. Personally, I don't think this is a good thing. I would rather have less choices where the food is really good vs. having a lot of choices, but the food quality isn't as good. It's a great place to hang out, especially if you like sports. They have a lot of tv's in the restaurant. The staff is really good for the most part. I've had a couple of bad experiences where I ordered a pizza and I was brought a pizza with toppings I didn't want. The person who brought the food said I could have the pizza at no charge, but when I got the bill, the waitress charged me $5 dollars for the pizza that I didn't want. read more

My friend and I came here on a whim just looking for places in the area to grab a quick bite. Boy were we lucky! We sat at the bar, with Deb, who was an amazing bartender. Seriously one of the best we've had. She was quick, even with a full bar, and made us laugh and feel important even though we were from out of state. On top of that, the food came out fast, delicious, and better than we had thought. The drinks were amazing for the price. We would come back to a concert here JUST to see Deb before hand. My family and I love this place the food is always great when we dine in and very rarely is the food good when we get delivery. I believe somethings on the menu are very pricey for the quality and amount you receive. For example we got delivery today and got an order of the steak and cheese egg rolls that cost $10.99 we open up the bag that the app was in and there was 3! Had dinner there last night. Thought it was great for the price. I'm sad to see so many negative reviews. That was not our experience at all. The place was clean (our table had just been cleaned when we sat down) and the service was great. Yeah, ok, the popcorn was a bit salty, and the salad dressing came in a cup instead of being tossed on the salad. Oh well... Our Caesar was fresh-- with Caesar it is all about the lettuce since there isn't much else in Caesars except some croutons. This salad was really good, as was our pizza of the day, Chicken Margherita. Medium size pizza was more than enough for two, plus two pieces came home. Nice size pour on the wine for $6 for the house brand. We sat on the "restaurant" side as opposed to the bar side, not as large and not as noisy. The bar side looked loud but fun with multiple tvs and a lot of people. They also were very accommodating to let me hang out while I waited for my teenage daughter and her friend who were at a concert at the Comcast Center. One good deed deserves another and I am glad to give Alberto's a good review. My friend and I came here before the Blink 182 show at Xfinity and we were pretty impressed. Food came in good time despite being totally packed and it was all so, so delicious. I had a personal pizza that was amazing. My friend had a burger that he said was fantastic. We also had the buffalo wontons -- yum! Excellent beer menu and the Cocorita is perfect for summer! I liked the atmosphere a lot as they had many TVs with all kinds of programming and they played Blink 182 and ADTR songs for the upcoming show, which I thought was a great touch. Only thing keeping this place from 5 star is the awkward seating/space. There was constant maneuvering around people's tables because there's just not enough space. Constant traffic jam especially by our table since we sat at a high-table between the bar and the doorway to the other room. At one point, a staff member in that jam had tripped over people's feet and fell to the ground with the burger she was carrying :( Overall the food was fantastic. Friendly, though overwhelmed staff. Also, she didn't ask us if we wanted another drink before bringing the check. Wrong move, because we probably would have ordered a second drink and she would have gotten a bigger tip! We like to come here every so often because our kids like the pizza and so do we. The last few times we've gone the food hasn't been as good as usual. The pizza was undercooked enough that none of us wanted to eat it and my husband said his sandwich was lukewarm and soggy. The tables use high bar stools, which are uncomfortable if you have any back issues. The restaurant and bar were packed, but no line waiting on this Friday evening at 6:00 PM. The room is loud with conversation with some soft background music. The restroom was small, but clean. It had a hand blower instead of paper towels. We had a waitress in training and she did a great job. Her supervisor stayed on top anything that inexperience might have brought. The prices were very good with a good selection of meal choices, but not far reaching. Think pub menu. I ordered the surf & turf (steak tips & jumbo shrimp). I was afforded two sides, I chose rice pilaf and broccoli. The rice was very good and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. I wished they had seasoned the broccoli a little, but it was not an annoyance. The jumbo shrimp were large and tasted very good. The steak tips were marinated just right. I ordered medium rare, but received medium. The flavor was still good, but that is disappointing when you know what you like. Funny anecdote. When choosing dessert I asked the waitress what size the brownie sundae was (trying to decide whether to share one with my daughter or get my own.) She used her hands to show the size and it looked to be 5 or 6 inches. "That's huge", I said. We'll definitely split it. To which she said, "Oh that's the size of the plate". She then then mimicked a normal size brownie. LOL So we got two yummy sundaes, but we couldn't finish them. We should have shared. read more

We go here a lot and it's always busy! The food is good and reasonably priced. They seem to offer specials almost every day.The drinks are awesome. The staff has always been friendly and fast! Parking can sometimes be a little tricky if it's really busy. If you want a bar/restaurant to watch the game? No problem! They are everywhere! read more
