Bazille is located inside of Nordstrom on the 2nd floor. They have big picture windows that are raised so you see the lush trees and not the parking lot, which is nice. It's a nice restaurant for a good meal, but I wouldn't go for anything special. Service was prompt and good. Our lunch was really yummy...everyone loved what they ordered. We started with Parmesan Garlic Ciabatta with a creamy ricotta and honey dip. We also had Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos, a Margherita Handmade Pizza and a Crab, Mango and Avocado Salad. I forgot how good this place was! Came shopping for the holidays and got a little hungry. It was so nice to just walk over and have this as an option at Nordstrom. The service here was a 10/10. Loved all the recommendations! I really enjoyed the pasta and the Caesar salad! It was easy to share as they split it in two plates. Everything felt really fresh. This restaurant is located in the Cantera Mall, inside Nordstrom store ( second floor). GPS had taken me to PF Chang's so I had given up on going. So, how did I find it, you ask ? As I walked into Nordstrom I saw a sign of The restaurant located on the 2nd floor. I made my way to this nice quaint restaurant. I ordered a Golden Hour mocktail, delicious with pineapple flavor. I ordered the soup of the day ( baked potatoe soup). Taste was flavorful . Loved it! I also ordered the Salmon nacoise salad. Vibrant flavors and colorful salad. It did not disappoint. Waitress Victoria was very attentive. Establishment was clean and half empty for a Saturday evening. Maybe cause it is located near the clothes. I highly recommend. Came by for lunch while doing some shopping at Nordstrom and this is a definitely a semi hidden gem at La cantera! The food was all excellent, you can tell the food was freshly made and was delicious as well. I loved that there wasn't a huge wait for a table either and the service was fantastic as well. My sister and I ordered two plates to share and we loved that they split the meal into different plates as well. Overall a great place to grab lunch while shopping and I want to go back. This place is one of my go to restaurants for tomato basil soup. This time we tried the prime rib sandwich with added truffle Parmesan fries and they nicely split it since we were sharing it. Must go!!! Came on a Saturday lunch hour when we got hungry after a morning at La cantera. Located inside Nordstrom, kind of hidden away from the public. Open seating arrangement with a huge window view. The kitchen was quick, but the food coming out absolutely smacked. Service for us was a college student who was very laid back but kind. She was doing her best! Ordered appetizers and two entrees, with tip it's around a $60+ meal. Slightly pricey for a lunch, but it was delicious! Always been curious to try out Bazille because I like shopping at Nordstrom and its conveniently there. Although I did not eat, I did order a cocktail. My waiter recommended the Amelia cocktail which is on their older cocktail menu and he didn't realize it had been taken off but was happy to make it regardless and I'm so happy he did. It had gin, blackberry/raspberry, lemon and simple syrup, YUM! It was a fantastic cocktail hands down one of the best I've had around San Antonio. The restaurant smelled really good but unfortunately, I did not have time to eat. Very excited to try food on my next visit. FYI- there are big windows which you can look out of. 12/22/22 First off, we have never been to a Nordstrom. Our first visit is very good. We went to buy a Christmas fragrance for me. Of course they have it. We saw that the store has a restaurant on the second floor. We expected just a simple place offering burgers and salads. Note: they also have a coffee bar on the ground level. Oh no! They offer these and much more. You an have a bottle of Cliquot champagne for $60. This is a bargain price for a restaurant. Also steaks, halibut, salmon, soups, various salads, spinach artichoke dip, etc. just a ton do different food items and drinks. There is a separate drink menu. The husband had the prime rib dip and I had the halibut. Both very good. Large size sandwich with a side Caesar salad. The halibut is four nice-sized chunks of fish, fries, Cole slaw, bread and butter pickles and a sauce. I prefer cocktail sauce, which they do not have. Service was very good. This place on numerous occasions has forgotten items and even meals ordered for pickup. They used to have a really good lady who would check everything infront of you to guarantee nothing is missing or wrong. Even when I check they come up to me as if there is a problem with some type of stare. I wouldn't have to check it if something wasn't missing almost everytime at this point. Even to get a refund on items you can't do it through them you have to go the 3rd party used. I'm considering no longer coming to this establishment now and it was my go too whenever I needed something. The ebar downstairs is way busier and never messes up but it feels like rocket science for them upstairs. Just sad and disappointing. read more

THOMAS our server was very busy with his tables and we add 7 more people to his section. We were in no rush and enjoying our time there. It did take some time to get our food in but he was very communicative on knowing that he was busy and the kitchen was backed up and brought out our food when it was ready so it was not cold. Unfortunately a meal was not put in but when it arrived the salmon niçoise was perfect! Thomas was so nice as well as going to the E Bar to get decaf americano's due the restaurant running out of decaf coffee. Went on a Sunday afternoon and to preface the waitress was super sweet and attentive, but the food was horrible. For starters there was a long curly black hair in our turkey sandwich, then the avocado toast was completely brown and rotten and the kitchen still thought it was okay to serve, and the crab bisque had no crab in it and tasted completely diluted by their tomato soup which I've tried before. When I got home I had the worst stomach ache from the bisque. Do not go here. Quality has gone down significantly, didn't use to be this bad before the remodel. read more
