A fun place to play on screen trivia on Thursday nights. They have a nice rotating selection of beers and ciders. The beers range from basic American style ale (like coors banquet) to east and west cost ipa to ambers and up to stouts and bocks. I've seen other reviews saying something about slow service, but I believe that came from the first days when they just opened. I have never had anything other than great service from Kenny and the gang. Cool bonus: if you sit at the bar they have built in proximity chargers for your phone. I was really excited to find out that Valley Tap was opening a location here in QC because I love the Gilbert location. This Valley Tap is in a really cool location next to Fat Cats and soon to be Pecan Lake Entertainment! Every time I've been here, the service has been really good. The beertenders have all been really awesome explaining the beers and giving samples. The taproom is clean, and the beer is cold and yummy. This location has an awesome outdoor seating area and a nicely designed taproom. This location also has TVs and live music. We visited this establishment on 12/2/2023 with friends. We arrived around 7:30pm or so. There was a decent sized crowd, and I believe they just opened a week ago. We expected a few quirks. We sat down at a table away from the bar. Their beer selection is somewhat awesome ! ( that's the good news ) Bad news , there's really no one at this establishment to wait on tables, at least in a prompt and timely manner. Drinks and service was good at the bar. When we wanted to re-order our drinks, process less than easy, and it took an extended time for someone to stop by our table. We got hungry and decided to order food and this is not their strong suit for sure. I ordered the chicken wings, and received in a reasonably timely manner chicken wings straight out of the bag from the supermarket. The sauce that was added was less than tasty, and the wings were honestly terrible. Everyone else that ordered food at our table had the same experience and we would not recommend any of the food. You can BYOF , but that just seemed really odd to us , but if you feel comfortable with that , DO it!! They've got a long way to go. We wish them the best of luck because they're close to our home and we want to have a place where we can go grab a drink and get some food. Here's to hoping this place improves. Quick defense for this place, as this is what they said to us , we're a tap room. The positives: The beer selection is good. There are lots of TVs. It's a good size venue for a taproom with a decent size patio. The negatives: Yeesh, the staff is stiff. I came in for a quick beer, just to check out the location as I love the original local. As I walked in the door, I immediately felt awkward. The woman helping me looked like she would rather be anywhere else. After she ran my card, I asked to leave it open, without looking at me or even turning around to face me, she shoved my card back at me over her shoulder. Maybe she is just having a bad day, but it was super uncomfortable. Trying not to let this first experience decide whether or not I ever come back to this location. Residents of queen creek are so excited to have this taproom open, I know I've been telling everyone I know about it! But we also favor establishments that feel like you're at home when you're there. 12/29/23 First time here. Out of state visiting. My friends wanted to show us a new place in town . We walked up to the counter to order . Since the advertising says it has vodka . Tequila and bourbon drinks . We wanted to know the options . We were told the hard liquor license was not available yet . We still chose to get a few tasters of the available brews . Once we sat outside . One of the employees approached us to turn on the heating lamp ( which we appreciated) when we asked him " (hey when will you get your liquor license )" an easy question after we were told at the counter that the license was not valid "YET" We asked again why the menus promoted vodka , bourbon and tequila . Because it was misleading . He replied .. " oh we are not interested in a liquor license and it's never going to happen" "they are wine based cocktails" which we understood " but the menu was still misleading. His Quick response was " I'm not gonna argue with you " However , we were not arguing, it was a question about the menu advertised. He was rude and defensive with no cause , and was obviously not interested in explaining to a guest's question. I did get names , but I won't post that. To the owner of your establishment... clarity to your employees is key. The ladies were so nice and helpful, the men working that night were so unwelcoming. Like it was a bother to ask for a flight .
