Silva was helpful and kind helping me plan menu and they delivered on time (even though understaffed on Sun nights), but best of all the food was excellent and abundant. We ordered delivery and the food was well prepared and packed. They followed all of our instructions and we had quite a few. We really liked the falafel. It was fresh and full of flavor. We have had a lot of falafel and this was outstanding. The hummus and yogurt were also delicious. The tabouli was too spicy for our taste but it was fresh. The only disappointment was the pita bread which was tough and without flavor. We will definitely eat their food again. read more

This review is solely on the service. It is under new ownership and it sucks ! We came here on a Sunday evening around 7pm. We were told there are important people coming to have a buffet so that was their main concern. They said they ran out of chicken and couldn't give us any of the buffet chicken. REALLY??? So we were forced to only order the meats. Then I wanted to go wash my hands and the lady yells saying no bathroom. She made me wash my hands near the sink where they prepare food. How sketchy does this sound. Last but not least, they brought our food in to-go containers. I understand it is not a sit down restaurant but you have tables and chairs, meaning you should be prepared to serve people who want to dine in. They lost customers who will never return again because all they cared about was their buffet. Then all the workers went and sat outside and smoked. If we needed anything, we had no one to ask. Went there for lunch. Food was very good, but portions are small! The two of us got one soujok and one beef shawarma sandwich and two fried kibbe. Total came to over $17 and it was like little snack food! Kibbe was so tiny the price should have been $.50 instead of $1.50 each. We were still hungry so we had to order more food. We got an additional beef plate to share for another $10 plus tax. So total I spent nearly $30 bucks for lunch and we were barely full. Would not go back again. read more

Finally decided to try this place for lunch today with hubby. He loves Raffi's place in Glendale, but since this was closer we decided to give it a shot. He ordered the Beef Kebab plate. The plate came with rice and salad and hummus...which were normal size portion. However, there was about 5 "tiny" pieces of beef. They were literally so tiny...it was a joke. He said it tasted as if they had just re-heated it from a day before...obvious it wasn't fresh. He finished the beef in a few minutes since they were small and not seasoned well. I ordered the chicken shawrma and it was slightly warm...but barely...the deeper you bit into the sandwich...the colder it was. :( There was no one there around 12pm when we got there....so we are assuming maybe they do better "catering" than they do lunch meals? Delicious food! Going on a hike in the hills and stopped for lunch. Amazing find! Prices are very reasonable and quality of the food is great. Even down to the rice and salad were better than most places with loads of flavor. Definitely give it a try. We had the falafel sandwich and shish tawook. My wife and I have been here a couple of times and each was a treat. I can't wait to get back and sample some of the other items but we've had the kibbeh, a couple different kebabs, the hummus is fantastic, the foul mudammas is very fresh and lemony and the tabbouleh was perfect. The staff behind the counter is friendly and accommodating. We decided to add some tabbouleh to our meal and one of the young ladies told us they'd swap it out for a salad rather than have us purchase. Very clean on the inside as well. read more

Aleppo is hidden in the back of a small mall and it faces away from the street. I had a friend from San Francisco visit and she wanted to try something different but fresh. Aleppo more than made the grade. We ordered a chicken shawarama sandwich, tabouli salad, and falafel. The shawarama chicken is simply delicious. My friend made the falafel disappear with many kind words and signs of contentment. The tabouli salad was fresh and refreshing with perhaps a dash more lemon juice than needed but excellent. Kitchen is a fitting description for this restaurant. The couple who prepared the food and deliver to the table is like the care that goes into a meal at home. This place was awesome. I rarely write reviews, but I came here while in LA for work travel. I am one of those people with a lot of dietary restrictions due to food allergies and gluten sensitivity too. I ordered the meat combo, but the lady behind the counter said it was really for 2 people and would be too much for me. Instead, she told me she'd charge me for a beef plate and make it half beef, half chicken. The filet was amazing--plastic fork tender. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I also really liked their hummus and baba ghannouj. I have to travel to Burbank for work fairly frequently, and I'll definitely be adding this to my regular rotation. The staff is super nice and the food is amazing and obviously freshly made. It has a decent amount of seating but is basically a fast casual place where you both order and pick up your food at the counter in takeout containers, with plastic cutlery, whether or not you're doing takeout. That said, it's reasonably cheap and high quality, and I'll definitely be found here again. read more
