The crew from Alert were quick to respond, and the end results were excellent. My only criticism is that they were not always on point when giving me estimated dates and times, and they tended to assume (I guess) that I was familiar with their procedures.. Special shout out to Carlos and Robert, two of the nicest guys and hardest working craftsman I have ever encountered. This is a horrible company! If you need your home fixed go somewhere else. I was a sub-contractor for this company and they have yet to finish paying me for work I did in November, 2013. I am not the only company Alert Disaster has failed to pay, I know of at least 2 others. Not only that but all the homeowners I dealt with while sub-contracting for them were not happy with the untimely and poor managed job they did. Alert Disaster Restoration replaced our "snow-load" awning in Lake Isabella with thin, flimsy siding materials. The first snow we had it collapsed again just a year later. Who is this David D.? I never heard that name for the duration of job. Is he Mr. New Owner doing damage control? Yes, I am a renter. Don't try to denegrate us. I am a retired Gen. Contractor. I was asked to be the eyes and ears for Mrs. Moore at the outset.I've been in construction all of my life. Renters are NOT stupid.When we saw all the inefficiency and lack of a completion we finally called. Much to my chagrin, the woman/gen. contr. never returned my calls. It's been around 8 months now since they FINALLY left. The house still reeks of smoke from charred framing members that were not replaced or sealed. The realtors trying to sell the place frequently remark about it. Avoid's--I mean Alert's advertising looks real good. Probably just another smoke screen. I had a flood in both my bathrooms and hired Alert to fix the damage and clean up the water. They did a decent job cleaning up the water, but after the service and responsiveness suffered. In the end they never finished the job they were hired and paid to do. They demanded final payment before they ever finished up the job, and since I would not pay them, they put a lien on my house. A little customer service would have gone a long way in fixing this whole problem, but it seems once they have you, you are at their mercy. Fool me once shame on you. read more

This has been a mess since the get go!! My parents had a fire and per their insurance they sent Alert Disaster out to help. At the beginning they were all promises and guarantees, that was over a year ago! What work was done was horrible and once they got full payment from my parents insurance, radio silence!!! Pulled the shingles off their garage, took forever to replace them and in the mean time had a major rain that flooded their garage. Promised to replace the sheetrock that was damaged inside, never did. Gave my mom the run around about my dad's awnings and out buildings that they had been paid to rebuild, and still have yet to do. Mine and my sister's family had to finally rebuild the back fence that was to be done. Like I said, the fire happened over a year ago, none of the promises made by these people have been done. Highly recommend!!! Our house flooded over night for 8 hours, with a toilet in the upstairs running. When we woke up in the morning it looked like it was raining in our house. VERY large water bubbles had formed in all walls. We called Alert Disaster at 5:00am, they were at our house within 30 minutes!!! They started immediately removing all water and water damaged material from our home. It took 1 day for them to remove all the water damaged material. I called Alert after plumber came out for drain pipe leak and found some mold and said he couldn't do work till it was removed. Tina and Jason came out and because of previous insurance claims for fire and flood, making another claim was not an option. I felt overwhelmed that so soon after moving back into house because of previous disasters I was facing yet another problem. But after explaining my situation Jason asked for trash bags and a hammer. Unbelievably he got under sink and removed the wood and drywall and insulation affected by the water damage and mold. He took pictures of parts I needed to purchase so plumber could repair pipe and 2 other leaks and paint to get to provide barrier .They asked for no money for this amazing act of human kindness. Although they are running a business and do want to make money they showed empathy and helped me. Thet took the initiative to do something good for someone in the community. There are people in business that are not greedy and have a heart ! Good old fashioned just helping someone in need. So very rare today. Highly recommend Alert Disaster. I had a cracked kitchen pipe go unnoticed which resulted in black mold. These guys came in and removed the mold and replaced the kitchen back to working order with 10 days. It was a big job that I needed done quick and they handled it. Had an electric panel fire in my home December 17, 2017. Allstate sent Alert out to assess the damage and begin the restoration. The initial crew, headed by Jessica, was excellent. They cleaned everything and took all the washables to be cleaned. When the washables were all returned, Jessica told me Alert would be back to do a final clean-up after the interior had been healed, and that Jessica and her crew would put all the washed items back where they belong. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. David Denison, an executive at Alert, told me Allstate forbid Alert's return, even if I paid cash out of my own pocket. David identified my adjuster, Kim Tuma, as the person at Allstate who did so. Kim denied ever having a conversation with Mr. Denison. Add to that, innumerable items were missing from the washed items returned. I advised Mr. Denison of this fact, and he told me he would relay the information to his personal property manager. Never heard back from either. Another huge problem Alert caused: their Estimate for the repairs did not include the support beams under the home, that were badly burned and needed to be replaced. I would advise anyone receiving a visit from Alert to just give a thumbs up on the cleaning. Don't let 'em take your personal property, because I found that to be an irretrievable loss. Don't accept their estimate for repairs, as the person doing the estimate is apparently not qualified to determine all the damages that require replacement. read more

Alert is a very professional and ethical company. I had a leak from my second story bathroom. Once my husband fixed the leak we called Alert to determine if the leak had caused any damage that should be addressed. They sent out Jacob the same day I called, followed up by Jason the following day. Jason said they could dry out our walls for a price or if we wanted we could do the work ourselves which was very minimal. He explained exactly what we needed to do and told us to call back in 6 months and they would come back out and verify that the walls had dried. Amazing!
