    Breakfast

Restaurant in the Four Points. I stopped in for breakfast. Limited menu but several items from which to choose. Attentive server and very friendly. When I got my charges from the hotel I was actually billed for two breakfast tables. They fixed it right away. Nice option inside the hotel.

Butternut Squash Ravioli. Is this seaweed??? Gross

Ate 3 meals here while staying at the Sheraton. Breakfast is better than dinner. Since their specialty is a huge brunch I guess this makes sense, but the dinner was so gross I don't think I'd come back to try their brunch. I had the butternut squash stuffed ravioli with broccolini pesto. Ravioli was just ok. But that pesto was so stringy and gooey, I thought they'd gone out in the harbor and harvested actual kelp. Nasty. Nasty looking, tasting, and my tummy hurt later. Our waiter for dinner seemed poorly trained. He brought me a breakfast menu for dinner. I asked for plastic cups for water and juice for my 4 year old and he brought them filled to the brim with no lids or straws. The breakfast staff is way friendlier and attentive. I like this Sheraton when visiting Ventura, but I don't recommend this restaurant unless it's just to grab a quick and easy breakfast.

After reading the reviews we made reservations this morning and when we arrived nobody at the hostess Booth. We waited maybe 5 minutes then the hostess returned. She greeted us with a smile & questioned if we had a reservations. We informed we did then offered the option inside or outside seating. We choose outside. Beautiful morning. We choose the Sunday brunch. Excellent service. Our drinks never were dry. Wide variety of food selection for the Sunday brunch. Fresh and hot. Highly recommend Sunday brunch

We came here for the first time to give it a try. We were greeted at the desk in the most unfriendly manor. The dining area was 75% empty and when we were asked if we had a reservation and we said no she then showed us a list of people on her clip board who did make a reservation . How about "have you ever been here before? "Welcome we are happy to have you" The food was okay not bad not great. The service was below average. We are now leaving and the dining area is still 75% empty... I don't think a reservation is necessary unless you want a friendly greeting

Every once in a while I like to come here for their all-you-can-eat Sunday Brunch Buffet. The first time I came here was several years ago and I feel like the quality of the buffet has gone down since then, but that seems to be like most things with this economy. Alexander's Sunday brunch buffet includes cheap champagne and/or mimosas, which I did not try but my girlfriend enjoyed well enough. It starts at 10AM and goes until... I think 2PM every Sunday. They have breakfast foods as well as lunch type foods. They have an omelet station where a guy can make you a tasty omelet with whatever you want inside (from the decent selection of choices in front of the station). They have a bananas foster station as well as having seafood (yesterday it included snow crab legs and oysters on the half shell as well as cold shrimp), bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, pork, rice medley etc. In the side room they have breads, croissants, bagels, toast, danishes, fruit, cold salads, cubed cheese and desserts. They have a whole large table filled with desserts, which is my favorite part. Varieties of cakes, pies and/or cheesecakes, chocolate dipped strawberries and small 2-bite cakes and pastries are included, but I recommend you get your desserts early unless you're not picky - I don't see them restock the desserts through the morning so once something is gone it's probably gone until next time. Outside on the patio were hot-trays of tri-tip, chicken and pork BBQ as well as beans and corn on the cob. The guy at the omelet station had a big ham and some tri-tip he was slicing for diners as well. I enjoyed my food and the service was reasonable. At some point the staff stopped coming by our table (after we had paid) but we were still eating and talking so I had to flag someone down to get a refill on my soda. After that, they checked in on us frequently, which was nice, but also made us feel like they wanted us to leave. My friend and I ate and gabbed for about three hours, and I wasn't hungry the entire rest of the day. I was very satisfied and if I was willing to eat without restraint every Sunday I would come here far more often!

This time we had a party of 10, which I know can be a little challenging for any restaurant. The service was still great. Everyone was super friendly and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. I also love that they offer 3-course meal options--it makes ordering easy and quick. For starters, I ordered the stuffed mushrooms with shrimp and the sweet corn chowder. The stuffed mushrooms were incredible, packed with flavor in every bite. The soup didn't disappoint either, and the bread they serve with melted cheese on top was so good. For my main course, I had the filet mignon with truffle pasta. It was good, but a little dry--I wish it had been more juicy. My boyfriend got the ribeye with lobster, and unfortunately that one wasn't our favorite. Everything tasted a bit overcooked. I'm thinking it may have been because of the large party, since our previous visit was much better. Overall, I'd definitely come back--but probably for a date night instead of a big group. The inside is beautiful, quiet, and dimly lit, which makes it perfect for a cute romantic dinner.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We each ordered a cocktail. She got a blueberry margarita and I got a cucumber gin mixed drink. Both were refreshing and delicious. We ended up ordering another round. For appetizers we ordered the crispy maple Brussels and tuna & salmon tartare. The Brussels were fried to perfection and glazed a sweet maple syrup. It also came with thick cuts of bacon. Definitely recommend this. For the tartare, it was also delicious and fresh. It was mixed with avocado and turnip. We thought the turnip would be off putting but it actually meshed well with the flavors. Came with fried wonton chips. For the main course we shared the NY strip and Lobster Malfaldine. The steak was cooked to perfection with a very nice sear and flavored well. Probably one of the better steaks I've ever had. Definitely beats out any steakhouse steak. The Lobster Malfaldine was also absolutely delicious. Most of the time, lobster pasta is usually a bit bland and lacking in lobster. NOT HERE. They included big chunks of lobster and the sauce was so good. Lastly, we ended our dinner with the Strawberry Hand Pie. This is basically a warm strawberry strudel with vanilla bean ice cream. They used locally sourced strawberries and I'm still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. Adrienne was our server and she was very nice and attentive. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday, they comped our dessert. Super nice staff!

For starters, they were out of salsa for their chips and salsa. After being seated for about 15 minutes, our server finally asked us what we wanted to drink. I was surprised and disappointed when she told me they were out of horchata, too. It's ludicrous to me that a Mexican restaurant would be out of both horchata and salsa. I then decided to order the queso fundido to pair with my chips, since there was no salsa. I waited half an hour, but it never arrived. Meanwhile, a table that was seated after us received all of their drinks and appetizers. In the entire hour I was there, I only had the chips and a fresh watermelon agua fresca. The chips were okay, but the agua fresca was very underwhelming. While we were trying to order our entrees, we asked our server a question, and she said she needed to go into the kitchen to find the answer. She never came back. In fact, we only saw our server a total of two times during our visit. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so we were all surprised that the service was so slow and poor. Our server lacked both communication and hospitality. My party got tired of waiting, so we decided to leave. It was a complete waste of time. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing first experience and won't be returning.

Service is attentive and very friendly. Now the food... Oh man, it was delicious!! I was eating healthy and got just a plain chicken bowl and that was really nothing to write about, but that was my fault because who gets that when surrounded by such yummy food like Strawberry Matcha pancakes or Churro French Toast with kiwi, banana, berries and chantilly cream ‍ Anyways, we got the maple bacon beignets for the table and wow, that was delicious. Warm, fluffy, sweet, salty... yummm!! My son got the 2+2+2. At $23 it was a little pricey for two eggs, 2 bacon and 2 pancakes, but the pancakes were huge and barely fit on the plate. The bacon was also very thick and tasty. Warning: That the house made vanilla caramel syrup they serve is super addicting and you're gonna want to drizzle everything with it!! Everyone else at the table was really happy with what they ordered. Someone also ordered a biscuit on the side and that was by far the fluffiest biscuit I had ever seen. Usually they can be dry and hard, but this one was quite opposite. I've seen other pictures online and I guess it can be a hit or a miss because they don't seem to be consistent.
