I contacted Alexandria Pest Services earlier this year when I had a mouse issue in my basement. I had first spoken to a large nation wide, well known company who informed me that I would need to have my attic insulation replaced to get rid of the mouse issue in the basement. They stated mice often live in the attic and they could see burrow holes in the insulation. My house is 30 yrs old so they didn't know if the burrows were recent or from years ago before I lived here. The cost to do the insulation and pest management was $5K - whoa! For a 2nd opinion I called Alexandria Pest. They informed me that I did not need to remove the insulation and their cost to manage the issue was several hundred dollars not $5K. Mr. Diggs (president ) advised me to first work on eliminating the issue without paying for new insulation and if that didn't work then I could look at replacing the insulation although he promised this wasn't going to be necessary as his company would rid my house of the mice. True to his word, the mice issue is now resolved (thank God!) and I didn't have to invest $5K in new insulation. I highly recommend Alexandria Pest Services. I just want to thank Alexandria Pest Service for being so responsive! When you are dealing with anything out of the norm, it can be very frustrating. I gave them a call on a Thursday and they were able to schedule a free consultation with me as early as Monday/Tuesday. They provided a two hour window for the exterminator to show up. I appreciated that Ricky listened to my concerns and was very knowledgeable regarding the different types of pests that many people encounter. He proceeded with the inspection and answered all of my questions along the way. Upon the end of the inspection, he gave me a recommended course of action and to give him a follow-up call for a general spraying, etc. I am glad to report that they were not bed bugs and that there was a simple fix to my problem. Oswaldo was a great technician. He took his time to listen to my concern, put traps out to help with the mice issue I'm having in my house. He explained to me about the treatment plan throughly and made me feel at ease. He was amazing. I would highly recommend him. I wish there was more Technicians out there like him, so helpful and knowledgeable. If I can give him 10 stars I would. Rick was extremely helpful as well. This company is fantastic! We had a huge hornet's nest in the tree in front of our house. I called late in the afternoon and was able to schedule someone to come out and take care of it first thing in the morning. They are very courteous and professional and did a great job.
