I only mentioned that it was pricey compared to our prior pest control. I never said we wouldn't move forward- in fact I told him to start service. We now work with another premium pest control company- HIGHLAND ECO PEST CONTROL. They have been amazing, responsive, professional and took care of our issues quickly and we use them for ongoing pest control. The onboarding process with Highland was incredibly easy and fast.

Joe Rossi came by and did a thorough inspection of my kitchen and sealed off possible gaps, holes, and entryways that he located. Now my mind is more at ease that my cats won't have a new (living) toy to play with. Joe was incredibly friendly, did a great job of explaining what he saw upon his inspection, and how he was going about fixing problem areas, and the cost was incredibly reasonable. They took the time to tell me about what the service would entail and then had me walk them through the house to see all of the air vents. We also had a chance to meet Rich who shared photos and videos with us so we could see what they were finding in our vents. One of their mechanics was kind enough to just take a listen and see what he could make of it, free-of-charge. When I brought it back for a more thorough diagnosis, they identified the problem (timing belt rubbing slightly on something due to tolerances that are too tight; addressed in a manufacturer's technical service bulletin from 15 years ago). It would have been a big job and a bundle of money to fully resolve the issue. Ultimately they (Brent) advised me to just let it go and keep an eye on it because it's not a "catastrophic" issue. Honest and much appreciated advice. That said, I also had another less satisfactory experience before this. Had a slow leak in a tire, so brought it in for inspection. They had a young (teen-aged) and probably less experienced mechanic patch the tire for me. He kept looking to the older mechanics for guidance, which didn't instill a lot of confidence. Sure enough, the patch ended up failing while I was on the highway. In the end, I had to replace the tire. Upon inspecting the old tire, the folks at the tire shop told me that the puncture wasn't close enough to the middle of the contact patch, but rather on the outer part of the tread, too close to the sidewall to be safe, which meant that it should've been immediately replaced, rather than patched. So, just make sure that Brent and/or one of their more senior, certified mechanics is taking care of things and you should be good!
