He explained that the type of chemical used would kill the adults but not the larvae. He is coming back in 2-3 weeks to continue treatment. If the residual pest control chemical doesn't kill the newly hatched "yellow jackets" the second chemical treatment will be applied. Chance also said it was just "bad luck" that the yellow jackets got into the house.

I spent $1,850 with Alpha Pest Services for rodent control, and unfortunately, I'm extremely…read moredisappointed with the results. Justin came out at the end of March, and the service I paid for specifically included attic treatment, sealing the attic edge line, sealing exterior weep holes, sealing an entry point along the garage roofline, and attic baiting/trapping. The entire point of paying this much was not simply to put out traps--it was to identify and seal the entry points so the mouse problem would actually be addressed. Yet only a few months later, I'm once again hearing mice running back and forth up in the attic. For $1,850, I think it's completely reasonable to expect the exclusion work to last longer than a few months. Instead, my experience has been that the emphasis seems to be on returning for repeated treatments every few months rather than actually eliminating the source of the problem. I understand that no pest-control company can guarantee a mouse will never enter a home again, but when you charge $1,850 specifically for rodent control and exclusion/sealing work, customers should reasonably expect the entry points to be properly identified and secured. I paid for a solution to the problem, not an endless cycle of recurring treatments.

Joe Rossi is a fair dealing, honest contractor. I first became acquainted with his work almost 25 years ago when he worked for another company that was subsequently sold and whose work started to falter and not meet my expectations. Looking for a new pest control company, I saw Joe opened his own company and I switched service contracts over to him. He conducts thorough pest inspections for termites and offers comprehensive, competitive solutions. I also have an interior quarterly bug treatment service with Rossi Pest, and I have not see a kitchen bug since. Rossi also services a rental property of mine, and he is terrific working with my tenant to complete services I request. They are a five star company with great communication, and services fairly priced. You can't go wrong choosing them. read more

I was shocked when Anthony arrived on time. Maybe it's just me but so often when I call a service provider they are wide of the mark for timeliness, for pest control, appliance repair, HVAC techs, what have you. Anthony was right on time and wore his booties. He checked out the situation and told me what I did and didn't need. Because my issues are coming from the kitchen and my kitchen is being remodeled in two weeks, he recommended to do nothing at this time and explained to me why I saw the mouse I did, that he was acting erratic because he encountered some of the rat poison and it messed him up and he is probably going off to die now, which felt reassuring. He didn't charge me anything for coming, which I'm always surprised and impressed with. Anthony is super friendly and personable, I never know if I will feel uncomfortable having a male tech come to the house when my boyfriend isn't home, but he just seems like a nice normal man you can easily have a conversation with.
