Went into the use the bathroom and a short fat blonde karen was sitting down eating and I thought she was a CUSTOMER. My mother was picking up an order for uber and said hello to her. Interrupted my mom and said no not you, and asked me what i was doing, I said I was going to the bathroom and asked if thats okay. She said yeah and had a huge attitude and talked to me as if I was trash. Absolutely disgusting behavior and unprofessional. I will never eat here. My hubby picked up Chicken Marsala for us. There was very little pasta for the entree. The consistency of the "sauce" was watery. The chicken was flattened so thin that it was tough from overcooking. Was really hoping for a great Italian restaurant close by, but this is not one of those. read more

It's been a couple years since I've been here; probably before covid. Ambiance is the same: mundane strip mall decor. No big deal. Service was mid at best. The wait staff had a hard time with English. No one seemed to know the beer menu: it had to be shouted out from the bar as they looked at it. Got the fetecinni Alfredo with grilled chicken. Pasta was over cooked, WAylY too much sauce. Chicken was little bits, like they came from a can instead of just a chicken strip or breast. Only going with 2 stars because they served food. Worst to-go experience of my life. They did not put the lid of the salad on all the way and did not give me my bread. So I had to go back in and the Manager accusingly asked if I dropped it. Then she proceeded to tell me to just be honest if I dropped it WHICH I DID NOT. Finally after remaking the salad and giving it to me with the bread she told me to make sure I hold the bad upright. Reliable, family owned Italian restaurant. My mother always orders the Niki's Fettucine. I love their tortellini Alfredo, but recently ordered the eggplant parmesan. It has become my new food obsession. Attire is casual and sometimes they have a piano player, which sets a very nice vibe. read more

This is my go to for Italian food. The owners are always out talking with guests, once when my husband couldn't remember a dish he'd had there before & couldn't find it on the menu he described it to the owner and he made it for him. I love their Chicken Cordon Bleu, sometime you don't find it many restaurants, they even customize to my taste. Always a great experience. read more

Perfect night to sit by the fire and enjoy a bowl of traditional Italian wedding soup! We started with just that. Plenty of little meatballs and a generous portion. The salads were fresh, crisp and served on a cold plate. I had the chicken with asparagus special over Angel hair with a white sauce. My husband had the chicken and shrimp with scampi sauce. With plenty of shaved garlic. The child spaghetti and meatballs was a very nice size with two meatballs. I almost forgot to mention the fresh baked rolls. They were yummy. Stephan was our waiter and took exceptional care of us. Looking forward to returning. read more

Let me start by saying that I've been coming here for 15+years, and I've always considered this my favorite Italian food from service to amazing food ! But in the last I'd say 5 years I've seen this place go from amazing food , service & atmosphere! To tonight's experience.... And like I said I've been coming here at least 15years 3-6+times a year. After chance after chance given after years of horrible service and sub par food (for the previous standard) I would like to express that myself and my family will not be disappointed again . Tonight's service started by my family of 3 adults and 3 children waited in an empty "wait space" for 15 minutes before being greeted (in an empty restaurant) then we were seated . I should mention I have a child in a car seat (5months) I repeated several times we would need a sling or high chair for her car seat . The waitress/hostess had to be told/ asked multiple times to bring something to get my child off the floor... that's where it started . I'm sorry but the waitress was clueless just constantly clueless.. is the best way to explain her mental state. I blame the education system. But anyway she was stupid to be nice had no clue what was going on ,what was in the menu ,and our drinks were constantly empty . Bread was constantly empty. No update on the long wait on food in a rather empty restaurant. She was more interested in a conversation with the bus boy than serving our table ! The owner (or upper manager) on shift walked by this multiple times and seamed okay with this lax service attitude and it became very apparent that this place was no longer the place I had loved all these years anymore when my child's food and my mothers food came out ... my mothers food the mushroom Portobello appetizer dish was SOUR , literally BITTER with spoil! And my oldest child's dish the very simple fettuccine Alfredo no meat nothing crazy , was so bland it was like you were eating a tasteless cream with bland pasta . I use to eat here 4 times a week and I've continued to bring my family after the very OBVIOUS decline in standards but after tonight's EXTREMELY HORRIBLE service I will never be back . I'll be going to the other Nikki's the BETTER Nikki's at this point if you will . If you don't know Nikki's has two locations and the other location on Davis blvd . Is amazing I was always loyal to this location until the decline in standards and have been spending my money more wisely at the other location and they are amazing !! Food- excellent! Service- excellent!!! Ambience-amazing!!! If you want good Italian food don't eat at the rufe snow location!!! My mom has food poisoning from their continued neglect of food and service !!! If you want good Italian food go to Tony's (on rufe snow)or Nikki's on David this location is discussing and foul . I hope they close soon as to not subject the public to any more food poisoning. As a former customer please close your doors you're a joke to the Keller community your staff , your standards and hospitality just disgusting . Niki's is our preferred purveyor of pizza, but primarily because of their calamari. Hands down, Niki's is some of the best calamari out there, as long as it's on point. Lightly battered, served with lemon and marinar sauce, it's delicious. Once in awhile however, very rarely, it's does not quite live up to our expectation, but a) those times are very few and far between. b) I can't help but wonder if the poor creatures than sacrificed themselves for our dining pleasure did not play a role in our enjoyment? Maybe it's just a bad batch of squid? Regardless, even when it's "bad", it's still pretty good. We start every meal at Niki's with an order of the calamari, with extra sauce. Niki's other offerings are all very good. Hot, soft, bread knots start every meal. Great pastas. Even better (New York style) pizza. It's the pizza that has me updating this review. For you see, after years of eating at Niki's, I made a discovery. I found another place awhile back, somewhat nearby, that has the BEST sausage. Sausage heavy on the fennel. Sausage that reminds me of the pizza I ate as a kid, in Chicago. I would hit this other place, quite a bit further away, just for the heavy on the fennel sausage. The pizza was OK, but the sausage elevated that pie. Well flash forward to Niki's, and I'm not sure how I discovered it, but Niki's has the sausage I crave. Under "Available Toppings at $2.00 each" is "Sliced Italian Sausage". This stuff is the best. So much better than the crumbles. So good I wanted to update this review and share this discovery. So if you know what I'm talking about, you'll love it. If don't know what I'm talking about, you might want to try it. I don't want to make any comparison about the pellets, but once you try the sliced, you never do the crumbles again. Note that the fennel might be more of an adult taste, so kids may or may not like it as much. Or who knows, maybe they will. And you'll be eating at Niki's more, just for the sliced sausage. Bottom line: Sliced Italian Sausage. Without this discovery, I would have been sticking with my plain cheese pizza preference at Niki's for pizza. PS. Don't forget the order of calamari! This place was good, would return. It's a pretty sprawling space and the fact that there's a piano player AND a band in two separate areas of the restaurant and the fact you couldn't hear the band over everything else was pretty cool. Food is your standard Italian fare. Not a huge fan of Italian but the pizza was good, the calamari was tasty and the plating for the pasta dishes was pretty. Pasta was also perfectly cooked. Our server got a little flustered and had a hard time keeping it together for our "large" party of 9 but he did a good job. Would return, the piano player during dinner was a nice touch, especially when he played Metallica and everyone thought they were listening to Bach or something. read more

Niki's kinda reminds me of what a Cheers watering hole would look like as a restaurant. It has a warm welcoming atmosphere with good Italian home style food. We discovered the place with our grown kids when the more urban style Italian place we were going to go was smaller and had a waiting line...probably because it was byob. Did I mention Niki's has a full bar not just wine and beer. The waitstaff is attentive and not pushy but there if you need anything. We made a return trip there on Valentines and only had to wait a few minutes for a table at 5:30. Our first trip our grandson had pizza and was awesome so on V day we ordered a couple of pizzas. We like a very crunchy crust, unfortunately these came out limp like New York style. Next time we will ask for extra crispy! read more

So...called the location and asked the "owner" if my food was going to arrive cold. He reply was "yes it will" I asked if he could make the food fresh since it was made over 45 min ago. His reply "no, I make no money" So....now you have lost a customer who loves the food but is no longer a consumer. Service is always poor or rather "selective". Depends on who you are. I'll just leave it at that. I ordered the chicken tetrazzini because I've been craving it for ages. If i could rate 0 stars I would. I never write reviews but I came here and was astonished, I promised myself I would. The good reviews here must be bots or people who have never had real italian food before. First off, the food was just sloppy and cheap. Tasted like weight watchers tv dinners. The cherry on top? The owners are absolutely horrid. Rude, condescending, and only concerned with taking your $. I do not know how these people are still in business, or why on earth they have chosen to run a restaurant if they loathe their job and servicing their customers that much. Its like they think running a restaurant is beneath them. After reading some other reviews it seems like this is a VERY common complaint, and I concur with one of the reviews in particular that said the service "depends on who you are, ill just leave it at that". I will also, leave it at that. Deduce what you would like. The owners do not care about their customers, they just take your money to pay for the loan on their $100k cars they have sitting outside the restaurant, and treat you like trash. DO NOT give them your business, you are much better off with food quality AND service at Devivo's, Giovanni's, La Bistro, heck even Olive Garden. read more

I have been considering coming here to try the food for a few years. I have heard stories from great to poor. My adjectives will need to be split between three categories. Decor : Welcoming - ignoring some napkins and random stuff sitting in seats and on the bar. Service : Nice - it was a to go order so taking my money and getting my food was simple yet effective. Food : Underwhelming. I order a Stromboli which tasted similar to a pizza Hot Pocket with bland tomato sauce. Seasoning, herbs, something... Missing or not enough. I don't get it. And this tomato sauce is just like smashed tomatoes. I love tomatoes but add some seasoning. I think if I had added salt MAYBE it would be better. Maybe they are intentionally using low-sodium recipes - I am not sure. If this is the case, warn people and give out some salt packets with to go orders. read more

Average Italian restaurant. Not good not bad. The pizza is average as is chicken parm. Service is great. Ambiance is better than most.

We were craving some Italian food and stopped by Nikki to try it out!  And we sure are glad we did.  We ordered chicken Parmigiano and the Lasagna.   Both were delicious!  The food was hot, fresh, and reasonably priced.  We will definitely be back to try some more menu items soon. read more
