Delivery review: This place is great when the pasta cravings hit. The portions are huge and the price is fair. My favorite dish is the chicken sorrentino which is described as: sauteed chicken breast, sausage, mushrooms in white wine sauce with side of spaghetti. Now, I googled it because I wanted to recreate this dish and found that all the recipes use marinara sauce. I'm assuming this is their version of the Italian dish and all I know is it's tasty. My least favorite dish is their spaghetti bolognese. I was craving a rich, thick tomato-based sauce but it was more on the creamy side. While I didn't hate it, it's not something I would order again. I've also tried several other pasta dishes, pizzas, subs, rolls, and desserts. I haven't been in to dine in so I can't speak on the ambiance or personal experience on service but the food is good here is pretty good.

I went into this place on 3/14/2025, the guy charged me $8.99+tax for the lunch portion. I was taken aback and even asked are you sure it includes a drink, he stated that it did. I went there on Sunday 3/16, by the way... I tried to call and place an order before 3pm, it stated that a voice mailbox had not been set up. I finally got thru to the restaurant & the lady stated that I can just place the order when I arrive and get the lunch prices. I arrived at abt 3.05pm and ordered. The lady reckoned the lunch meals were $9,99 they do not have any lunch at $8.99, when I pointed out to her that they have a board right now outside showing $8.99 she replies that she will give it to me at that price, then said that it did not include a drink. Her excuse also was that the paper menu wasn't correct? For the record the cash register rings it up at $8.99 without manipulating any price. Prices have increased. If the price has increased and you have not updated ur paper menu then update it by pen, don't tell the customer when they are in restaurant and ready to pay or order. I stated - you might want to go outside and see what you have on the board (it's says with salad & a drink), I cannot make this stuff up, gosh. The register doesn't give me a receipt even though I hit "text," to receive my receipt that way. I asked for a receipt- fine, she does a reprint. My receipt prints showing 4.18pm, kids meal says $6.00 in the menu, she charged me $7.00. They threw ranch dressing all over the salad instead of putting it in a cup on the side. I asked the lady if she was the owner, she stated she wasn't. As I'm about to leave I asked the young girl for utensils... I ordered 3 meals but she gives me two sets, what is up with these people,,, who raised or trained them. I asked for another set. Where is the guy who served me on Friday? Clearly this grown lady doesn't know what she is doing!! The portion of food was also way less food... Then last night my stomach is hurting almost as they they put something in my food...it the ranch dressed had been sitting out in the warm restaurant... As I left I took a picture again of the board outside. I will NEvER go back to this place, NEVER. Food on Friday was great but on Sunday they have some people working there who do not know what the HEK they are doing..,you could not pay me a penny to go back to this place, even if I was starving. Stating the facts (I guess makes me a Karen), lol lol. It is becuz of restaurants like yours who are terrible that make other great potential growing restaurants go out of business. Get your head out of the clouds. Supposedly - I am a Karen, even though I was not rude to the staff, did not act ugly or anything. FYI - to the owner -- your ratings on this site suck as well. 1 star - 29 reviews; 2 star - 21 reviews; 5 star - only 44 reviews of the 126 (3.3 star in total). Do the math & check yelp if I am making up this stuff, the facts today do not lie. Good luck to you - you will need it in the future. Only thing that I am trying to accomplish here - is to make future visitors aware of what really goes on & the fact that on any given day, prices change and your excuse if that the menu price has not been updated. Response from the owner 56 minutes ago - on another site!! We recently updated our pricing and our staff was still adjusting. As a family-owned spot, when we change our pricing, we can't instantly update everything--things take time. A small misunderstanding between you and the team should've never turned into all this. You took the time to snap pictures, write a full essay, and throw out wild accusations all over a $2 price mix-up. Going full Karen mode and writing a bad review even after we gave you what you wanted and corrected our mistake is crazy. Calling someone unfit just because you don't understand how a restaurant works is small-minded. It's always the loudest critics who've never done the job themselves. We've proudly served our community since 2005, and in 20 years you are the ONLY customer WE NEVER WANT BACK. Please do not ever step foot in our restaurant again. Joe's is a much better place with you, and your negative energy, outside our doors.

Cruising along on my bike headed to the Depot, and see on my right side, I see, "Joe's Pizza Pasta." Having been born in New York, most New Yorkers will try Pizza Shops all over New York and rate them by whether we go back again. This is my second time dining and seeing Adam and the server at Joe's! Joe's Pizza Pasta is the real deal, real New York Flavor and style Pizza, clean Restaurant with great service. Bon Appetite!

This was hard to chew or bite.. i called the restaurant and told them about it and guy said he could make me another one.. wth? And drive 15 mn again back n forth? Told him to have the manager call me today and supposedly she didnt make it in today. We have an autistic kid in the family. They accidentally forgot to close the door, 15 minutes past close. We had promised the kid Little Cesars, but they were closed. The guy behind the counter heard the story, and fired up the oven, past close, on CHRISTMAS EVE!!! The level of service he provided is out of this world, and he deserves a raise for his showmanship. Merry Christmas to Joe's Pizza and family. Really appreciate what you did and you have gained a large family of customers for life!!!

It was my mom's birthday and she was in the mood for Italian. I had heard good things about Pie Tap…read moreso Pie Tap it was! We came in on a cold Monday night. We parked at street parking across the restaurant without issue. Inside, we were promptly seated. The inside is nice and dim with an open kitchen. We started the night off with the Fondue. The rosemary buffs were delicious and the perfect vehicle for the two different dips - goat cheese fondue and pecan pepper jam. I really enjoyed the goat cheese. It was nice and hearty, pairing very well with the bread. The pepper jam added a sweet touch but I'm more a savory person so I was more than content with the cheese itself. My mom got the papparadelle and bolognese while I got the sausage pizza. The papparadelle was nice and al dente. It paired well with the bolognese sauce. However, I felt it was warm when it came out so it got cold quickly. The sausage pizza was delicious! The star of the pie were easily the carmelized onions - added such a perfect level of sweetness that it really elevated the whole dish. The crust also went well with the cheese from the fondue. At this point in the evening, we were feeling pretty full. Nonetheless, our waiter, Seamus, knew it was my mom's birthday. With that in mind, he treated us to the donuts. They came with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam. Both were good. I personally preferred the chocolate since that's what I usually lean more towards. We thought it was such a nice gesture. The night was that much more special because of Seamus. Overall, althrough everything wasn't perfect (not that it should have been), the work and effort was clearly there. Looking forward to coming back again one day.

My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!

When I took my first bite, it was immediately obvious the pizza was not fresh. The cheese wasn't hot or melty like a freshly made pizza should be. Instead, it appears they used pre-made slices that were already sitting out and combined them to make a 14" pizza. I did not receive a fresh pie--just reheated, old slices passed off as a new pizza. That's unacceptable, especially at this price point. If a customer orders a fresh large pizza, it should actually be made fresh, not assembled from leftover slices and warmed up. Very disappointed and I will not be returning to this location. Customers should be aware that ordering a "fresh" pizza here may result in exactly what I experienced--a rip-off.
