    A specialty penne alla vodka

This is our "Go to" Italian restaurant. We probably visit several times a month! I especially enjoy the "Hot and Cold" salad. My daughter the specialty penne alla vodka.

Two options- sit down restaurant with larger menu or pizza bar. Opted for quick grab-and-go pizza slices and garlic knots. We sat down at the counter to eat but were kindly told we could enjoy the tables in the dining room if we wanted. Original slice was my favorite, and Margherita was 2nd best. Grandmas slice is thick and super cheesy with flavorful marinara sauce. Garlic knots were great- doughy and warm.

Branchinelli's is very generous with their seasonings when it comes to their food and other restaurants should learn from them. Hungry? You won't be waiting long for your food after you place your order! Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 My boyfriend and I decided to visit Branchinelli's for dinner. I'm really glad we decided on this restaurant because everything was fantastic! Everyone was welcoming and very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and everything smelled delicious. I didn't see any red flags with the staff handling food. Seneca was our server for the evening and we loved him. He did an excellent job, was very polite, professional, very attentive. We were happy was our server and we are very pleased with the service he had provided. We sat down and Seneca served us a basket of warm bread. Well, I should really say that the bread basket was hot and fresh. The two of us agree the focaccia bread tasted great and based off of that, we thought about ordering pizza. We ordered fried calamari (single size), chicken parm (dinner), veal parm (dinner) with a side of ziti. For dessert, we ordered cheesecake and cannoli to take home. My goodness, everything was scrumptious! Guys, I recommend you order dessert. If you'd like more detail on what we've ordered, please continue reading below. Their portion sizes are big. We couldn't finish our meal. A single sized order of fried calamari that was more than enough for us to share. I don't know what they did to the marinara but it was phenomenal. They use real squid and yes, that matters (to me, anyway). Our Chicken and Veal Parm dinners came out piping hot on a metal plate that they've placed on top of the dinner plate. . Two servings of ziti with marinara was served and I was impressed. As I have mentioned at the beginning of this review, the restaurant is very generous with their seasonings! I highly recommend coming to Branchinelli's and we're definitely stopping by again when we're in the area.

Garlic knots are $0.50!!!!! Pretty big place, I like that you can sit in or do take out. Grandma pie was yummy, but probably shouldn't eat more than one slice in a sitting because it did feel a bit heavy. Tried the spinach capenollini and was a little disappointed. Didn't feel like a pasta dish as much as a soup of cheese. Waitress recommended adding Alfredo sauce but then it became too heavy. Worked as a good dip for the garlic knots, though! If they offered it as an appetizer where you could dip the knots in this, like spinach artichoke dip, I would definitely be a fan

I've been coming here since I was a little girl, well, the Hauppauge location. This was my first time here. This has become a favorite over the years for our family. Every trip I take up to New York, this is one of my 1st stops and 1 of my favorites. Their pizza is great but they have delicious Italian food as well. My favorite thing to order is the quattro pali, 2 balls of mozzarella and 2 meatballs. It's in the most delicious red sauce. I also enjoy getting the hot and cold salad, which is absolutely delicious with their lemon dressing. The Buffalo chicken pizza is a staple as well. I never knew they had tartufo so I was excited when I found out they had it on the menu as it's my favorite dessert. They also have the best Italian ices. Marco and Anthony were working on this busy Friday night, which is nice to see the owners behind the pizza making. This is a real good family owned, local spot, with authentic food, good service and a homey feel.

Wanted to try a new Italian spot and decided on this place. We always drive past it and figured it was time to finally try it. It was a busy night so we just decided to do takeout. Glad we tried the food here. Everything we got was do delicious! Here's what we ordered: - small tossed salad with Italian dressing and chicken - grandma pizza (pie): thin crust pan pizza with mozzarella, a touch if garlic and topped with crushed plum tomatoes - buffalo chicken pizza: Neapolitan pizza topped with spicy chicken pieces, blue cheese sauce and mozzarella cheese - quattro pali: 2 meatballs and mozzarella in tomato sauce The food was really good here. I plan to come back and dine-in to try other stuff on their menu.

Branchinelli's is my go to local pizza place. Pizza is consistently good every time and they always have great service. I usually go for a classic slice with some garlic knots, and pair it with a Coke. They are great and not overly garlicky. I definitely recommend checking them out!

Came here on a weekday lunch! This place was pretty busy, but we were still seated immediately! Great service! She was attentive and nice! The bread basket was delicious! It paired well with the soup and shrimp oreganata! The sauce was delicious in the shrimp! So garlicky and lemony! The bread was used for dipping all that goodness! The soup was perfect for a cold winter day! Very tasty! The prices are also super reasonable! Will definitely be back! A nice casual restaurant to hang out any time and have an anytime meal!!!!

The pizza is hands down one of the Best I have ever had; both the neopolitan & sicilian pies.

By far and away the worst I've experienced. I took away a star for this reason. The new spot aesthetically is just okay. As always with local restauranteurs little to no attention paid to the noise level. My ears were bleeding throughout dinner. The restaurant needs decor which creates a warmer inviting presence. Our food was delicious but the wait time for the meals and drinks was insufferable. BTW, the wait time for the check was equally as painful. To the owners, get your (you know what) together and figure this out. You will not succeed unless immediate improvements are made.

When we entered the…read moreestablishment, the seating area was empty, by the time we left, at around 5:00 PM, the place was getting crowded. We ordered fried calamari as appetizers and a zuppa di pesce - while zuppa is translated as soup in English, the dish is closer to what may be considered a fish stew. In addition to the fried calamari we also ordered a large salad that we split. Cova is a unique restaurant that serves dinner in a family-style format. This means that the entrees are designed to be shared between two or four people. While the food is excellent, for a hungry person, the amount per serving is not worth the price. Unfortunately, the cappuccino maker was not in service, so I ordered a regular cup of decaffeinated coffee. Regrettably, the coffee was not to my liking. The Takeaways: 1. The food is very tasty. 2. The coffee is not good. 3. The price to portion ration is poor. 4. Parking is ample. 5. Make reservations.

Yes, we now have 2 extra nice dinners plus complimentary dessert. That was commendable so thank you for that. I did not eat, as it was late & I was aggravated honestly just went to bed .
