I've been coming here for years. The food is delicious, and the salads are out of this world. I would have recommended this place a 1,000 times over until I saw what I saw tonight... a costumer seriously had her dog (not a service dog) on top of the table!! But wait, it gets worse... after they paid they told the waitress they wanted to say goodbye to someone and proceeded to carry the dog straight into the kitchen!! Costumer plus dog in the kitchen!!! La Manno's is our family favorite place for a classic cheese pizza. Their pizza pie has a great red sauce (on the sweeter side) and an awesome crust. We're also big fans of the Purple Passion Eggplant hero. The garlic knots are awesome too. The owner and employees are very friendly - true old school Miller Place. La Manno's is the place to call for a classic cheese pizza. Usually takes about 15-20 minutes. They have plenty of parking in lot off 25a. read more

My experience with CP la mannos is as follows.. First off I was appalled by the price they gave me for a dozen garlic knots large salad ravioli and manicotti.. (50 bucks) Second I picked up my food and lived literally not even a mile down the road and the garlic knots were not even room temperature, but cold.. I was eating the salad out of the aluminum tray they provide the salad in and there were holes in the bottom causing the salad dressing to poor all over my lap as I began to eat. The salad wasn't even great and had high expectations for the ravioli that turned out to be alright. (I would have bought frozen ones and boiled them myself for the price they charged) Overall I feel this business needs to seriously work on their food service and pricing skills.. It may be located in Miller Place but I can go to any other pizza place in Miller Place and save myself the headache and money read more

This pizza place/Italian restaurant has seen better days, and to be brutally honest, you should only come here for their pan pizza. Besides the pizza, their best menu item is their Antipasto Salad. A large will feed 3-4 people, and the house Italian dressing they give with it is amazing. Now, besides the Antipasto, the only other items on the menu you should consider is the pizza. We really prefer the large pan pizzas, and you can't go wrong with any of their specialty versions. Our favorite would be the Islander (pizza with clams and garlic), Hawaiian, and Purple Passion (eggplant). The Sicilian is a no go, way too doughy. So, if you're getting pizza, stick with the pan pizzas. Now, the reason for the 3 star is purely down to the consistency of everything else, or lack there of. We ordered numerous heroes and they are really hit or miss, you either get an amazing hero or one that is maybe at the same level as Subway, edible but a total waste of money. Their pasta entrees and main feature dishes are also lacking. The Chicken Medera is ok, but lacks salt and the sauce itself while good, and full of Marsala flavor, is oily. The Chicken LaManno and Chicken Francaise also suffer from a lack of salt, with the flavor just not as bold as one would expect which detracts from the dish as a whole. All told, I want to give La Manno's 4 stars, but until the consistency improves, 3 stars it is (saved by the pizza). read more

I love this Restaurant!!! The owners are so nice and really care about family and community. We had my daughter's first Holy Communion party here. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate my family and friends. I also love how they have a full bar, not just beer and wine. They are an asset to our community. read more

This is a nice family-owned, red-checkered-tablecloth-type Italian restaurant that makes a tasty pie with a sauce that incorporates just enough basil to impart a pleasant sweetness. My only criticism is that it's a fairly light pizza that can leave one feeling hungry again not long after having eaten it. Gosh I did not have a great first experience at all. We were a very large party but waited extremely long to even order, my chicken was raw, diet soda tasted blah, and the sauce was just not too good. They took my dinner off the bill but I would have insisted if I were them to make me something else at no charge. My daughter got French onion soup...where was the broth? It was a bowl of onions no exaggerating. I did enjoy the salad that came with the meal and the waitress was very nice. Being a local I wish we had a better experience. Ugh read more

If I was able to give a negative rating I would. My wife ordered penne al a vodka which took 20 minutes to come out and it was box penne with marinara sauce and heavy cream.. Not vodka sauce at all. My personal pizza, a 10" pie that costs 7.50$. Options below had meat and veggies of different varieties and when the bill came out it was almost 40$. Apparently the menu or waitress failed to mention each topping has an additional price. Will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Absolute worst experience at a restaurant I've ever had in my life. Tried to order potato skins. Was told they were out of potatoes. Same for honey mustard, sour cream, the soups listed on the specials, and French fries. Out. Was one of 4 tables in the entire place at 6 on a Friday (which says a lot by itself) and my entree chicken parm took about 45 minutes. Even the bartender was profusely apologizing from witnessing what was happening. At the end of the meal, I was offered a whole $5 off for my trouble. The sooner this place shuts down the better, an absolute disgrace. read more

We love the pan pizzas! This is a family run restaurant and the owners are super nice

Usually we love this place, we normally go for pizza but tonight we decided to try some entrees. The takeout menu very clearly states entrees come with bread and salad. When we arrive to pick up the food, we were told that only applies to dine in, which is states nowhere on the website, and that all the prices listed are also all lower on the website than what they will actually charge you when you pick up your order. On top of it the man at the counter was very nasty and couldn't have cared less that they are advertising everything incorrect online. I'm not about to have this jerk spit in my food so arguing wasn't really a possibility. Upon arriving home the trays are basically empty there's 5 raviolis in the tray, which is apparently worth $13? The chicken and meat balls also were not cooked all the way through. I will never go back there again, I'm disgusted with how these people think it acceptable to treat customers who come in constantly. They know us by name and are well aware of the business we give them. There's many other options in a 5 mike radius, I recommend highly you go elsewhere. read more

Have been coming here for years they are a decent meal ,service can be painstakingly slow . I really like th salad has 3bean salad and shredded cheese on top .Eggplant parmesan is good and so is chicken marsala .pizza and heroes deserve a head nod as well .I like the Paul Bunyan here ,eggplant ricotta and meatballs ( I think lol) . I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone! I had gone there for a party with a bunch of my girlfriends we got there at 7:30pm and ordered our food, we didn't get it until after 9:30pm! While we waited for our food to arrive they served us bread that was still frozen inside, which was only one of the many problems we encountered. Our food portions were horrible small for the price they charge, I felt like I was robbed. There was no other customers on our side of the resterant (which was hot bc they didn't turn the AC on) but acted like we were horriblely inconvenient yet we had a reservation for our group. The staff was snotty and quick. When we got our check we almost died, they charged us extra drinks and added on charges for our food that we didn't ask for! Long story short is that I spent $20 on a cup of water, frozen bread and not even a whole piece of grilled chicken in plain pasta. I am never going there ever again and neither are any of my friends or family. Absolutely horrible food and employees!!! read more
