I ordered Alfie through DoorDash and everything was good. Everything came as expected, and everything was hot and seemed really fresh.

Food has always been great but I saw a roach today, please fix the problem. I know it's difficult because of the location but it's not right. I want to love this place, I really do. Also food quality isn't what it used to be, I feel like its just any other pizza anymore. I used to love coming here as a kid but it just feels like any other pizza place at this point. I HAVE noticed a trend in the food business - dude establishes a spot, works hard on building it up only to have his heinous wife/daughter/girlfriend be so atrocious of a human being that not only do you stop going, but you feel bad for HIM! that describes this place. My family has been getting pizza here since the early 2000's. Excellent, consistent pizza. The crust is always cooked. The toppings are always in good ratio to the size of the pie. The hoagies and cheesesteaks are always amazing. Love the food! Oh and the pepperoni rolls are always good little bit to eat. We recently got a white pizza with ricotta and mozzarella with garlic and onions. Excellent flavor. Got a pepperoni pizza and it wasn't too greasy! A cheese Sicilian pizza - dough was cooked all the way! And a cheesesteak Stromboli! Good ratio of meat to veggies in it! The sauce usually is emptied out before the Stromboli is finished though. read more

Staying at The Woods Campground. Alfie's menus are in the reception area so we thought it was a safe bet. Wrong. The staff answering the phone was so rude. Telling me how inconvenient it was to deliver to the woods and that it would be a while until it was delivered. The pizza arrived fairly quickly (45 min) considering how dramatic she was on the phone. Pizza was mediocre at best. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE PIZZA! Go to Barn Door Pizza instead! read more

So I am a former employee of Alfie's's's pizza. I was the delivery guy so I would like to tell you a little bit about Alfie's's's it's disgusting the food that everybody gets in the glass container behind the counter. I've literally seen cockroaches climbing over the top of the food they keep the food down below on top of pizza boxes. I've literally pulled out the food and seen cockroaches climbing on the food when I pulled it out, and when I would say something they would wipe off the bugs like it was no big deal and have you ever noticed when you asked for a pizza box when you got leftover food when they pull the pizza box out they turn your back and open the box that's because they're looking to see if there's any cockroaches in the pizza box because they literally got mad at me one time when I gave somebody a box after they left, they said you're supposed to check the box to make sure there's no bugs in it..... like when you go into the bathroom, where the bathrooms are there we literally cockroaches falling out of the ceiling. I witnessed it cockroaches be crawling on the tables ... where people eat where they make the pizzas I've seen it firsthand myself when they pull out that whole metal cabinet they got five or six cockroach traps back there and the traps are loaded with cockroaches..... there's all kind of cockroach spray behind the counter everywhere behind .... I've literally seen cockroaches climbing out of the wall sockets... they own apartments upstairs people that live upstairs say there's cockroaches up there...... where the monster drinks are when you pull out that machine, and where it's plugged in the bugs will be literally falling out from back there..... where the solar machines are where the pizza boxes are there will be literally cockroaches underneath all that shit or inside it...,. And when they know the health board is coming, they will stay there the whole night and scrub and clean so that way they don't get shut down I'm not the only one that witnessed the bugs climbing over the food if you go on their site and look at the reviews or even type in reviews for Alfie's's's other people are saying the same thing that they seen bugs, crawling on top of the food let me repeat this again when they know the health board is coming, they will spend all night there scrubbing, and cleaning so that way they don't get in trouble. I have photos of the bugs literally climbing over the food and like I said I'm not the only one that seen it I'm not the only one that's put a review on here like this go to their site go to their Facebook page. I ordered a Veal Parmesan Sandwich in an Italian Food Restaurant where the genius behind the counter put American processed cheese on my sandwich are you kidding. I have no words for this. I have been a customer of Alfie's for many years. Throughout, the quality of the pizza and other food items maintain their quality, albeit here and there I find the pizza to have dropped in quality gradually. I find that lately the crusts are hard or too tough, as well as the quality of the cheese being so-so. I feel that cheese is the most important part of pizza, the sauce of course is second most, followed by crust, and then toppings. Being a family-owned restaurant, the quality is pretty good overall for most of these, but here and there I'll get a lackluster pizza. Cheese easily falling off or coming off, hard or tough crusts, little to no sauce. On the plus side, they aren't as greasy as they used to be. The toppings are still fresh and good compared to other pizzerias in the area. When the pizzas are freshly made, that's when it's quality good for the 4 stars I gave it. Plus their other entrees and food items are very good, if you decide to not go for just the pizza. read more

This is the nastiest place I have ever been to eat and the health department needs to shut it down. I walked in with two co workers ordered a couple slices and sat down to eat. Slices come out we eat then we was getting ready to clean up our mess and leave. Surprisingly good food for a middle-of-nowhere pizza place. The marinara Is tasty and they use real roast peppers. Pasta servings are enormous. Stomboli was good, except that the crust isn't great. The crust and sauce are still alright, but the cheese has gotten something like milk that's been sitting out for a couple days. It still smells alright, but the texture is just off. I feel like their pizza is some of the best, least greasiest pizza there is in the area. Even with pepperoni, its still not overly greasy. They also have a taco pizza, but its more like Gyro pizza. Great service, great people, they go out of their way to make chevron fell welcome there.. I went here with my brother about a week ago, we were both pretty hungry after a day's driving. Pizza was delicious! I was going to do a special order garlic pizza and the guy was very rude with me. The crazy thing is one of the other cooks made it for me before. All I wanted was the base crust brushed light with butter cheese and garlic no sauce. He gave me major attitude and said he would never put butter in his oven... I talked to my wife about his attitude and we decided to cancel our order. When I called back to cancel which is the nice thing to do he acted like a four year old. We have been to Alfie's numerous times. I was very pleasantly surprised when my friend first suggested to order from here. They are VERY fast when getting your order done. The pizza is FANTASTIC, garlic knots are AMAZING and their mozzarella sticks are VERY GOOD. I took my hubby here for the first for a "date lunch" and he was very impressed. Him and his family know all the good places to eat in the area (VERY LARGE radius of an area) and he was disappointed he didn't know about Alfie's sooner! Great place to eat! I got an order for delivery. I'll get the negatives out of the way first. Dough is not very good. I love thin, but this was watery and could not hold up a slice at all. The crust part tasted bland. The clam chowder was terrible, watery, thin, tasteless. May be the worst I've ever had. Blue cheese dressing was not good. Tasted like a cheap imitation crap. The salad was weird, it had pickles in it. Might have been ok except for the dressing. Good parts, the toppings on the pizza were great. Lot's of cheese, meat and vegies that tasted really good. (back off on the green pepper pls) They do need a smaller size. The medium was way to much for a singe traveler. The wings were awesome as well, except for the damn blue cheese dressing which sucked! (loved those wings though) Delivery was great. Everything was wrapped in tin-foil and they got the order right! I like anchovies on the side, I got two big cups full of awesome anchovies, more than a family could eat. This place has a lot of potential if they'd make a few changes. I decide to order out tonight after work 100 hours in 2 weeks even though I had all i needed to make my own chicken parm.. dinner .I ordered out. Chicken was tough(had to find the chicken first off), sauce was like water and the pasta was uncooked . I have order there many of times before but haven't order in a long while now I wonder why. Waste of money! I get a nice meal big helping from Verona's with lots of chicken too serve about three people. Never again YUCK !! read more
