Dear Mr. Zalat All I wanted was a few pizzas. Not 12466 emails. Ordering is a pain in the ass and I've tried to unsubscribe 4 times and still get emails. I don't even live in Texas. Just visiting for the weekend. There has to be a dozen better pizza places in that area. The pizza was 40 min late for in store pick up and tasted like cardboard. The pick- up location is in great hands with Avery and Bri. We were greeted with a hello and great pizza recommendations from the staff we got half Margarita and Drunken Master. Friday night and we"re tired we decided on eating take out and tonight its pizza. We considered our options and decided on giving Zalat Pizza a try . First, the order goes thru the app which routs thru YELP and its functionality takes a minute to get used to Once the order was placed,$25 large cheese pie with mushrooms the application gives you a window of time to pick up the pizza. Inside its an operation similar to Domino's Onto the grub. Pizza was ready at time promised and back home I went. Upon eating the positives were the Pizza crust offered the foldability found in Pizza I grew up on in NJ. Thats definitely a positive and its thickness was very good.. Disappointments - The entire Pizza cheese and sauce had no flavor impossible to detect any oregano , salt , pepper or garlic. Glad we tried Zalat but this Pizza maven was not impressed read more

10/10 consistently delicious. I moved here from NY and there are VERY few places my husband and I have relied on to get our Italian fix. We have made our own Italian, but pizza is something we haven't mastered making yet, but zalat is the closest thing to NYC pizza we have found... my husband doesn't like to go anywhere else. The crust isn't thin, just enough fluff, with a perfect cheese sauce ratio than any pie we've found. Yes it's a chain, I was skeptical but now I don't care, don't discriminate. It is amazing. I would not recommend this place ever , This has been one of the worst pizzaria around. I would eat frozen pizza over this any day ( for people who dont get sarcastic comments , yes it was worse than frozen) , I ordered for 7 PM and they tell me its ready by 6 30 and its been sitting on self ever since , When I ask about to make new one They say its not possible :/ . I was like whatever and I would give it a try , Taste wise I would say decent but Really rubbery not chewy . Cold soggy pizza. I got there 5 minutes before my pizza was supposed be ready and it was already sitting on an unheated shelf. I drove 4 minutes back home and the pizza was cold. I booked through the mobile app and I'm guessing they don't actually go by the pickup time on there. Also, if you book through the mobile app pay attention at checkout because they pre-populate a 15% tip for a pickup order. They expect a tip BEFORE you even get service. You may end up tipping for a cold and subpar pizza. read more

My previous review was a 1 star rating after some unfortunate circumstances. After seeing my review we received immediate restoration for the things that took place during our visits or attempted visits. They sent us a coupon to try the pizza again so we finally did. The pizza was delish! We just got a simple pepperoni with olives nothing fancy. We will for sure try it again. read more

This is the best pizza in Flower Mound. We consistently enjoy our flavorful, non-greasy pizzas from Zalat! It would be even better if there were some variations in the crust as options but the not exactly thin/not thick is a good compromise for the time being. :) read more

Thin crust done well. Fresh toppings. Pizza was ready for pickup way before the estimated time but I came early so it was still fresh.

Pizza was very greasy and the cheese didn't taste good. Added mushroom for an extra 2 dollars however the hardly put any on the pizza. I do not recommend this pizza establishment. read more

I do a lot of traveling and love to try new pizzas. I saw this new place open up close to my house in Highland Village so I ordered an 18 inch NYC sausage and a 14 inch pesto veggie pizza with vegan cheese. Very disappointed I was lucky to get a piece of sausage with every third bite and the pesto veggie had very little vegetables on it as well. Not worth $40 will not be back. read more
